Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Outer Banks

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group and was clean, well decorated, and ideally located. It was about a 15-20 min walk from the beach depending on which route you took and how much traffic there was crossing the main road, but this was perfect because you’re set back from the beach noise. You’re also a quick walk from the sound where you can watch the sunset. We had a really great weekend and looking forward to staying again!

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

Jane was a wonderful host. She was very responsive. The home was wonderful! It was very clean and well described. The little extra touches were definitely appreciated. There was a binder about the house, expectations, recommendations etc so we never questioned what we needed to do. Would definitely stay at this home again.

My family and I loved the house and had a great vacation. Beach access was very close to the house and the hot tub was a great added feature.

we had a great stay at Betty's Bungalow. The house was spacious and cozy. Had everything that we needed. Located on a beautiful peaceful Farm. Rachel and Tim were very friendly and give us good advice of places to go. the homemade banana bread that Rachel made us was a wonderful treat!

This place is a GEM! I highly recommend staying there. So close to the beach. Lots of fun stuff to do in Duck. The house is very, very nice with lots of space to hang out.

This was our third or forth stay during the last few years. We sometimes bring our family- it’s perfect for us. Rhonda is amazing, she is so responsive and the house is spotless. We loved every minute of hanging out on the deck and the fishing was awesome this time. We plan to return over and over. We love this place- it’s magical.

I highly recommend this place. Quiet and peaceful yet close to everything. I’m looking forward to returning. The host was wonderful and has great recommendations.

We enjoyed our stay at Nikki’s apartment very much. The space is very clean, inviting and had all the amenities listed on the description. The photos are accurate and reflect the second floor apartment well. We like to cook a few meals while traveling and found all the pots, pans and utensils we needed in the kitchen. New appliances are also available. It is located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Nikki and her husband were friendly and available if needed. Would definitely consider returning again.

Great place to stay! Easily walkable to Hatteras Village and a public beach access point. If you are wanting access to public bathrooms while enjoying the beach, I recommend doing the 5 min drive to Frisco beach. Plenty of free parking available even when we arrived later in the afternoon. The beach was quiet and not crowded at all. We would definitely come back.

This is our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful and clean as the first. It’s convenient to our family and restaurants! By far the cleanest place we’ve stayed! I love that there are snacks for guests as well as a little “coffee” bar! We are looking forward to next year!

If you’re looking to get away and unplug and just listen to the sound of the water and relax, this is the perfect place. it’s very remote. The view on the dock and the deck is amazing and surreal. A perfect place for a getaway to recharge. Only suggestion is to do your shopping for the house before you go to the property as it is a little distance from everything. But overall, an amazing place would definitely book again.

Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. I had the best time at the cabin w 7 of my closest girlfriends for my 50th birthday.. there were lots of laughs . The house was cozy and beautifully decorated. The girls that slept upstairs kept raving about how comfortable the beds were. We had a fantastic stay and beach weekend, Taylor recommended a fantastic restaurant we went to for my birthday night as well! I would love to come back again sometime!

Andrew was a super friendly and accommodating host! The house is very spacious and peaceful! We came to stay just to relax in nature for a couple days and it was perfect for our needs!
