If you have vehicles to store, there's a double-garage & parking for camper or RV in the back.

It is close walking distance to the downtown area. Big Pine is a small town, so morning and evening walks are a must. The base of the Eastern Sierra’s has many great places to explore. Small pets (30lbs) are allowed for a fee of $30 and is payable at check in. Pets are not to be left alone. WiFi is available, but can be spotty at times.

Our brand-new guest cottage is an architect-designed tiny home for 2, in a peaceful rural area. It is just 28 minutes from beautiful Kings Canyon National Park. There is a view of meadows and guests are welcome to stroll the half-mile around and view the sheep, dogs and horses. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip. We have a great coffee shop 2 minutes away! Sorry, no assistance animals (see house rules)

We had such a great stay at the Hobbit House! The house was super cute and clean and the grounds were lovely to meander through. The stream was a great place to hang out with our coffee and read. We had a little trouble with our code working, but Kaci was super responsive and resolved it quickly. I’d also say that something to note is that the only bedroom that’s fully enclosed is the one with the pullout couch downstairs - the two main ones upstairs have doors but are open otherwise. The pictures in the listing absolutely show it, but I didn’t realize what I was looking at before being there (I thought the one was a mirror). It was not a problem for us and our friend group was fine, but if not everyone in your group goes to bed at the same time there’s really nowhere folks can split off to, it’s just basically all one open area. But it’s a lovely and fun open area! Keeping in mind for future trips to Sequoia and Kings!!

Do not judge the book by its cover, absolutely surprised (in a great way) once we entered the home. Hosts were ultra responsive and instructions etc came right away. Just one caveat, the giant loft bedroom upstairs with the second bed nook got warm if you didn’t use the fans and the stairs would be a little difficult for an older person.

Me and my friend had an absolutely peaceful and wonderful time in the Chevy ! It felt amazing to wake up to such a breathtaking view every morning with the freshest air in the coziest space you could imagine. Only con I would have is finding the spot and getting up there as well. I don’t recommend driving with a low car because it’ll be very difficult to get up the hill that leads to the house. We ran into their neighbor Clint as we were trying to find a way up and he was extremely nice and helpful. Him and his sons helped bring all of our stuff up and even drove us back down when our stay was over. Shoutout to them! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would book again :)

This place was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada. The interior was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt both cozy and modern. We really appreciated the privacy and peaceful atmosphere, yet it was also centrally located with great access to all the amazing outdoor attractions nearby. Whether you’re into hiking, lakes, or simply enjoying the scenery, everything is close by. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and scenic getaway.
