Mona's place was even better than the photos. Every day me and my family were greeted by an amazing view, that would make our days. Having breakfast in such a scenic place was an incredible experience. Mona's hospitality also exceeded all expectations. We would love to come back one day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and convenient place very close to the airport but with a nice rural feel and view of the Bergen Fjord. Stig seemed to be away for the weekend when we stayed but they wasn’t a problem. He’s doing some work on one side of the house and the path to the door is a bit rough and might be a problem for someone with mobility problems. Otherwise recommended.

Beautiful quiet location with great views of mountains and surroundings. Good location to explore the surroundings, but a car is essential. There was everything we needed for our stay. We would recommend to bring sleeping glasses as you can hardly darken the bedrooms. But of course, it's a personal feeling. In addition, we would have liked a wardrobe or storage facilities for our clothes. We were only on site for 3 days and were therefore able to live out of a suitcase. For longer stays, this would certainly be difficult. The house is a little off the beaten path, but is easy to reach by car. There is plenty of shopping nearby. We can recommend the house and the hosts without hesitation.

Our stay was wonderful. The bus system was close by to travel into town, and the view was magical. Everything we needed was provided and felt comfortable like home. If we travel to Bergen again, we will definitely stay again.

The apartment was great for our stay. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped. We felt at home and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive to all communication. Would stay again.

I had an easy and enjoyable stay - easy to get into Bergen. 10min walk to the bus with regular busses until late. When I needed peace, quiet and a home cooked meal - Ivar Oles placed was perfect for that :)

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

The stay exceeded our expectations. The location is great for exploring Bergan. Either a short ferry ride, or Bus. Park free could not be better. Helpful host let us use their laundry room.

We were very warmly greeted by Janette and Jürg. We were allowed to enjoy 7 nights in this wonderful, lovingly furnished, very modern and new apartment. Everything very clean, kitchen with everything you need, even drinks in the fridge (thank you!), dishwasher (incl. tabs), washing machine and tumble dryer in the large bathroom. Our questions were answered promptly and personally. An absolutely wonderful stay in Frekhaug. We also award Super Points!

The house is in the suburbs, suitable for self-driving.The house is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the house is on the top of the mountain.Very good. Perfect accommodation.

Wow! what a view. A 15 minute drive from the centre of Bergen. peaceful and a lovely apartment. it had everything you needed for self catering. It was great to sit and watch movements on the Fjord right in front of you. The bathroom and toilet was one floor down, but was absolutely no trouble for us. There was some noise from aircraft but again not that it bothered us. If we were to come back to the Bergen area, this would be our first choice. The host responds quickly and the house is very comfortable and well equipped. To go to Bergen, you can go by car, bus or as We opted in a short walk, bus and boat. Both the bus and the boat pass frequently, so it was very quiet to go and go back to Bergen.
