Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Padre Island

Absolutely loved our stay. The place is very spacious, clean, and has all the amenities we needed. The three separate bedrooms had a bed in each that can sleep two in each bed and the living area and kitchen had plenty of space. The bathroom had a walk-in shower that is more spacious than most places we had stayed in. The fenced/walled front and back yards were great for our puppy to move around without us having to worry. Ample space to park in the front yard which has a closing gate for added security. The outside is well lit, and the area felt secure and safe. The host provided body boards and a few other beach toys were a nice touch. A charcoal grill in the back and plenty of seating outside. Bring mosquito repellent. The check-out list is very accommodating unlike some places we've stayed in the past asking us to do laundry and other obnoxious chores before leaving. The highway to the beaches is very close by and grocery stores are around the corner. We'll definitely come back.

Stayed her last minute. The house had everything and then some. Tanya was an amazing host. We felt at home. Will be returning in the near future. Kids enjoyed crabbing in the back of house off of the dock.

It far exceeded our expectations! We felt right at home and the house was in a peaceful, beautiful location. The owners left fishing gear and a crabbing basket and we loved sitting on the dock fishing! This is a great location for families!

Jose was really nice answered all of our questions and really responsive, this is the second time we have booked this house and it is in a really great spot close to the beach, liquor store, and a market all on the corner. It has all the amenities they list and you feel right at home. They have a pool which was really fun and a great bbq setup. Great for big families . We hope to go back when we can again. Honestly such a good host him and her are amazing I've been literally come here again in a heartbeat they were so nice the fire alarm went off in our room but there wasn't a fire and the husband came over and fixed it for us and it was just really nice of him I really recommend his face and these people so nice genuinely humble hope to rent it out again!!!!

This was probably the best vacation rental we’ve stayed at to date. The property is beautiful. Plenty of space for our group. We liked having multiple king sized beds for the adults. Beds were really comfortable. I appreciated that the kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. They did not short cut anything; the property has everything you need! The kids loved the game room. Best of all, the check out instructions wasn’t a huge list that takes hours; just a simple request to leave linens in baskets. Easy! Only heads up- the tap water in SPI tastes salty, so pack/buy plenty of bottled water on your way in. Not the house’s fault; it’s that way everywhere on the island.

This was a great place. We had everything we needed. It was very peaceful and great place to fish and relax.

Condo is exactly as shown in the pictures. Great location and right on the beach! Dora was very responsive. My wife and I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to the Island.

Beautiful cozy little place with great views and lots around to do. Anastasiya was never hard to reach and answered any questions quickly. Great spot to fish or just hang out enjoying the water. Good restaurants close around and an island market grocery store for all your needs. An added plus very friendly neighbors next door! We enjoyed their company and conversations very much! Lisa was an amazing host! She responded quickly when I messaged! The check in was super easy, the place was clean and exactly what we were wanting. The location is great. We were able to walk to the beach. We had a great time and loved that we were able to bring our doggos. She had all the things you would need for a beach day, which was super helpful! Fishing off the back porch was so fun! 100 % recommend this place and anything Lisa has!

The place is just like the pictures, beautiful. We’d stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for some island time with family and friends. The pool is a good size and all to yourself. We had a speaker at a reasonable volume and got no complaints. They responded right away when we had a hiccup at check-in and they brought a new bbq pit since we were going to use it to cookout. I’m assuming the one on the property didn’t work but I wouldn’t know bc they were on top of things. Parking fits up to 5 cars squeezed tight. They have everything you need for the pool, beach, and in the kitchen. Honestly there isn’t a reason to pack any of those things. Good water pressure and AC was cold. The nights we were there we have no issues with noisy neighbors.

Best place we’ve stayed at in Corpus Christi! Can’t beat the view of the awesome waves every morning. The condo had everything we needed to make our trip enjoyable. The ONLY downside was that we couldn’t use the pool while there because it was getting cleaned but I’d rather the complex take the time to clean it then have us swimming in a dirty pool. Also, we spent most of our time at the beach so the pool wasn’t all that necessary. We’re enjoyed this place very much and hope to stay again in the future!

Great place to stay! Very close to everything. The best shower I have ever had. Water pressure was amazing after a long day on the beach. Would recommend Monica’s apartment and definitely would stay again.

This space was immaculate and definitely perfect for a group of life-long friends to connect and spend time at the beach! All the amenities for making nice, dinners, relaxing, watching movies, and hanging out along the canal. We rented a cart for beach days which, for us, was absolutely worth the expense. We didn’t need any other vehicle the entire weekend as we were just a few minutes from the beach. Well-behaved doggies welcome was a big plus for us! We highly recommend this space and hope to be back next year.

Pros and Cons: Pros: great space for our dogs (they loved it). Also well stocked overall--plates bowls cooking body soaps and shampoos if you need them etc. Plenty of extra towels sheets blankets. All the things others don’t put in their rentals. Cons: A tad humid and damp in the house. Could use a dehumidifier to make it more comfortable since it is an older place and struggles a bit when it’s really hot. A tad far from the closest anything. First gas station is minimum 15minutes and everything else is 7 minutes more at least. Beach with traffic is 30 minutes at best. And as a couple other reviewers mentioned: Please removed just a little bit of the decorations. It was hard to “see” our stuff and move around at times because there were just too many “things” around. We had trouble finding counter space to lay out what we wanted to use. Too many chairs also.

This cozy vacation rental was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations! We would easily rate it a 10 and can’t wait to come back for another stay. It was the perfect spot for our family to relax and enjoy. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained, and we loved that it was pet-friendly with a washer and dryer available for convenience. The condo stayed cool and comfortable throughout the day, which made it even better. I highly recommend this place for any family getaway. We also appreciated the helpful welcome book on the counter—it included great information about the area, house rules, restaurant suggestions, and even what to do in case of an emergency.

It was nothing less than exceptional! Perfect! Exactly as posted and described! For us, nothing could have been better! We are already planning on our next visit and will stay with Ben’s condos, certainly! If you enjoy fishing, the beach, easy access to anything you might want or need along with an amazing host, look no further!
