Strathblane is situated at the foot of the campsie hills, There is a bus service to Glasgow and Stirling. Milingavie is a 10 min drive away which has a train service to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. Cosy cottage

Cosy cottage has been fully refurbished in 2023 to a very high standard to give a first class experience to guests in the heart of the village, in a quiet location. The cottage is a few minutes walk from 2 great pub /restaurants, coffee shop and convenience store. Bus stop to Glasgow and neighbouring villages is also a few minutes. The location is great for Glasgow airport only 7 miles, loch Lomond is 20 miles away and the ferries on the coast are only 15 miles away that go to many islands.
