Beachfront holiday rental in Pajaro Dunes

Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

This was such a great rental! Everything was perfect. Host VERY helpful and communicative. Beds were AMAZING! Linen was awesome. Everything was spotless. Quiet at night, even though the house is close to great food, ice cream and coffee. I would absolutely stay here again and I highly recommend this place. Perfect for 2 couples or 2 couples with a child or a family of four. One of the best places for it's size in the area. And one of the best hosts as well.

Liz’s rental exceeded expectations. It felt very cozy, providing that beach home feeling. The beach was a quick stroll away, and it is dog friendly! My pup and I very much enjoyed our time at Liz’s spot. Thank you for relaxing vacation Liz!

The place is beautiful and only steps away from a beautiful spot on the beach. Two of the rooms have a beautiful patio that provides an look into the ocean. The parking was a little bit difficult just because it is street parking and if you go on a crowded day you may have to circle around a couple times to get an open spot. The host was very kind and answered texts very quickly. I would stay here again in the future for sure.

Laura’s place was spot on for our short stay. Beach was a stones throw away, which is where the kids wanted to spend their time. The place was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Detailed instructions for the apartment to go alongside the stay and useful local information.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck above the creek. Surrounded by beauty and the sounds of the creek created a sweet spot! The lighting was an excellent touch. The accommodations had everything that you need and the bed was extremely comfortable! We would stay again!!!

Kristina’s place was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. Breath taking ocean views and a short 5 minutes down to the beach. Kristina was very friendly checking in with us to make sure our trip was going good and if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again !!! Great host great place and beautiful city !!

This neighborhood is safe and peaceful. We have stayed at The Dunes numerous times over the last 4 years. Lisa’s home is beautiful and inviting. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed. It is such a gorgeous area and the staff at the front gate is always so helpful too. I had to reach out to Lisa multiple times throughout our stay and each time her responses were quick and respectful. It was a delight to chat with her and we are definitely planning to come back and would rent this home again.

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. Everything was just as described, and we would stay here again! Thank you, Sue!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

We enjoyed our stay at David's condo. It had a lovely view of the ocean, and was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of information about amenities, and things to do. David is a great communicator & host. This is a ground level condo in the main building, so we heard workers using gas powered trimmers and power washing the building beginning at 9:00am in the morning. Luckily, David provides earplugs in the condo, which came in handy.

I stayed here with a few of my bridesmaids while looking for a wholesome weekend getaway near Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea, and this place absolutely exceeded our expectations. The home is nestled in a beautiful, private community that felt safe, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing—perfect for unwinding and bonding before the big day. The views from the property were absolutely stunning. Whether we were sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, the scenery was breathtaking and added such a magical touch to our stay. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. We also loved how easy it was to get around. Whether we were exploring charming shops and restaurants in Carmel-by-the-Sea or spending time along the coast in Monterey, everything was conveniently close and accessible. This spot was ideal for creating special memories, and I would absolutely recommend it.

It was a great stay. We loved our time there and would definitely visit again.

This location is ideal for those who like easy access to hiking, walking, beach, pools etc. Also a short drive to Capitola, and Santa Cruz to the North. Views from the balcony are way better than the pictures. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay. I love to cook and this place was great for that. Definitely one of the better equipped kitchens I’ve ever found at an Air BnB. Both Keurig and traditional drip coffee makers, great stove top with griddle incorporated, and my favorite, the LUXURY level Waffle Iron (I might have to get one!). Can’t think of any “tool” that we wanted while cooking that I couldn’t find. Location is great wrt surfing as several of our family enjoy. Very impressed to see wet suits in the supply room, although I guess that’s got to be a standard for the West coast (most of my beach time has always been in south Florida, so no comparison there). The only thing I can critique - the easiest exit from the home to the beach goes through the bathroom of the lowest level of the house. Wasn’t a major issue, but we had one day where shower timing and beach access needs were not coordinated. Outdoor stairs are right outside unit but ya gotta remember the key!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in providing a great experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed place to stay. Thank you for everything!

The photos don't do the location justice. Whale watch from your living room and see the entire Monterey Bay from the beach...you don't have to put your shoes on to get to the beach, you're already here. We came at a lovely warm time and there weren't any other people around. Community has a pool and hot tub that were also great! So thankful to have enjoyed some days here at Blue Diamond. The binoculars and scope really were great for whale watching from the living room. What a cool sight to see a whale breeching while the sun was setting. It only takes 3 minutes to get to Moss Landing, 3 lovely well appointed and comfy beds with buttery soft linens were great place to rest our heads. Thanks again Deb!

Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! We loved it.

Anne’s cottage on the beach was absolutely wonderful! It’s such a special place—my family and I had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The views of the ocean are beautiful, and the beach is just steps away. We also loved having a few local restaurants within walking distance. Anne was the sweetest host—so kind, responsive, and attentive. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The house was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We truly hope to stay here again someday.

Had a wonderful time at this Seascape 1 bedroom unit. It has all the comforts of home plus an amazing view of the ocean. It was well stocked with everything you need. Tyler was very responsive when I needed help with the television remote control. Without a doubt one of the best places to stay in the area.
