Tout est réunis pour passer un excellent séjour en famille ou entre amis: -La villa est très spacieuse, confortable, propre et bien équipée. -Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu. -La Piscine privée, le jacuzzi, la vue panoramique sur la campagne montagneuse et le château médiéval de Squillace offrent un cadre douillet et relaxant. -La cote et les plages aux alentours sont très belles, les restaurants typiques. Et Martina et Thomas, par leurs conseils et leur bienveillance, porteront une attention particulière pour que ce moment reste spécial pour vous.

Our stay at Casa Colonica was like a dream! Nestled at the foot of Gerace, the views of the Ionian coast were simply magical. The house and pool were immaculately maintained and spotless. It's possibly the most remarkable place to stay in Calabria with children — peaceful, spacious and giving you an elequent country feeling but very close by car to both Locri and Gerace for anything you need. Mariagrazia and Vincenzo were warm, welcoming hosts. We would absolutely love to return!

This was an exceptional stay in Calabria for me and my family. The villa is exactly as it seems. It is likely the nicest AirBNB that one will ever find in Calabria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. Rino & Caterina were available 24/7 to help us, we had daily cleaning service, and Gianni was our driver at a moment's notice anywhere we wanted to go, from Soverato to Tropea. We had a birthday party for 50 of our extended cousins and it worked out perfectly. The extra costs we paid (use of the van, daily cleaning, driving, and pool heating) were extremely fair and reasonable. Biggest tips -- have the pool heated even in June, and have the ladies come for daily cleaning - truly made it feel like a 5 star resort. Davide deserves tremendous credit for building such a special place in such a beautiful place in Calabria.

Wärmste Empfehlung für Danilos Unterkunft! Die Wohnung liegt in einem charmanten Dorf, etwa 15 Minuten von den Stränden entfernt. Besonders praktisch: Eine hervorragende Trattoria befindet sich direkt im Ort und ist bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Danilo war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr flexibel beim Check-In und hat uns persönlich empfangen – ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre halte dans ce village et cette maison authentique. Le beau-père de notre hôte nous a guidé à pied dans les ruelles pour découvrir les particularités et l’histoire de ce lieu. C’était vraiment intéressant et bienveillant. La maison a une très grande terrasse offrant une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer ionienne. C’est un bonheur d’y prendre le petit déjeuner. Pharmacie, docteur, épicerie, restaurants , bars , les services de proximité sont présents. Tout pour passer un bon moment avec un hôte , Francesco très réactif pour répondre à vos demandes. A recommander !

Très bel endroit, villa dans un environnement verdoyant avec une très belle vue sur la mer Nous y étions en hiver aussi nous étions complètement seuls dans la résidence, avec une belle plage très privée À 5, chacun de nos enfants avait son endroit ou chambre Belle terrasse avec vue sur le Stromboli Accès facile et Tropea proche par voiture Pas de tv mais le wifi est bon Douche pas très chaude mais cela passe qd même Propriétaire agréable et disponible

Die Lage der Wohnung war wunderbar zentral gelegen - mitten im Herzen von Pizzo. Wir waren über die Osterfeiertage im Ort und konnten somit die Prozessionen mit verfolgen - sogar vom Balkon der Wohnung aus. Pizzo ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit großem italienischem Flair und sympathischen Einwohnern. Auch der Strand ist schön. Der Blick zum Meer ist grandios und es war alles vorhanden. Die Küche ist ein seperater Raum, was sehr praktisch ist. Als wir einmal ein Problem mit dem Fenster hatten, war Stefania sofort zur Stelle. Als Entschädigung hat sie uns köstliche Pasticcini hinterlassen. Sie hat sofort auf unsere Fragen geantwortet und war uns sehr hilfreich. Zu Beginn hat sie uns einen Parkplatz reserviert. Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit in Pizzo.

If you're considering this area of Calabria and you love beautiful views of the ocean, a quiet/peaceful small beach village vibe, and easy access to many of the nearby beaches, busier cities (e.g. Soverato and Catanzaro), and historical sites, THIS is your perfect spot. The views are spectacular (even better than the photos, if that's possible) - we woke each morning to the sunrise, enjoyed coffee while watching the sea birds, and the hearing the gentle waves hit the rocks below. Federico (Gabriella's son) was very helpful on anything we needed in terms of local restaurants, shops, etc. Definitely visit Alta Marea seafood shop for local seafood. And L'Arte del Grano for freshly baked bread. We can't wait to return!
