Sara’s place is a perfect getaway with gorgeous views and a 5 minute drive to the town. Th room is spacious and very comfortable with a large deck to enjoy the birds outside. Heaven’s Cafe is delicious for breakfasts and lunch. Th Golden Frog Inn has tasty Mexican fare with lovely sunset views. The Butterfly Haven is wonderful to see many varieties flying all around you. Sara is very helpful and delightful. She will also provide very tasty breakfast or dinner upon request. You will thoroughly enjoy this lovely escape.

We had an amazing stay at this charming little Caribbean cottage! The location is unbeatable—right on the water, with beautiful views and easy access to everything. The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. We also loved exploring the local food spots just steps away—absolutely delicious! We liked the laid-back vibe of the Bluff Beach side of the island—peaceful, less crowded, yet still filled with great spots to enjoy a bite to eat. Renting a scooter / ATV was such a fun and safe way to explore the island—we loved the freedom it gave us to discover hidden spots at our own pace Flying Pirates is just steps away from the house, and we fully recommend renting from them—the service was great!

An absolutely majestic location with a phenomenal staff and amazing food! We can't speak highly enough about Michelle & our new friends. This location is a seaside-oasis tailored for escape. The bungalows are tranquil, a scerene seascape. At any given time you are treated like old friends, laughing, learning about the food, the farm, the culture. The beds and amenities are all A+ too! Do yourself a favor and visit De la Luna!!

The place is spaciousness and comfortable. Looks just like the photos. Right on the water. Advisable to have water socks as entering the water is a shallow reef. Great for taking a dip but not for swimming. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent, friendly, accommodating and attentive hosts. Great cooks too! We loved staying here. Warmly recommended.

Me encantó la cabaña donde nos hospedamos en Volcán. La ubicación es excelente y el lugar es sumamente acogedor, con ese estilo rústico de madera que justamente estábamos buscando. Todo está muy bien pensado y equipado: cuenta con estufa, nevera, lavadora, cafetera, condimentos para cocinar e incluso frazadas que nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos en todo momento. Tiene un escritorio ideal para trabajar, y uno de nuestros momentos favoritos fue desayunar afuera, en las sillas del porche, disfrutando del aire fresco y la tranquilidad del entorno. La cabaña también tiene un camarote y un altillo que le fascinó a mi hijo —¡una verdadera aventura para él! Se nota que cuidaron cada detalle en su diseño y decoración. Además, Coralia, nuestra anfitriona, fue muy amable y atenta. Nos recomendó lugares para visitar, y nos compartió enlaces y ubicaciones que hicieron nuestra experiencia mucho más fácil y completa. Sin duda, es un lugar al que queremos volver.

Wat hebben we hier een leuke tijd gehad. Sue is erg gezellig, gastvrij en heel attent. We kregen een heerlijk ontbijt en mochten gebruik maken van de kayak. Sue komt met veel tips in de omgeving en helpt je dit te regelen. Er is niet echt een keuken maar op de gas barbecue kan je alles zelf bereiden.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location was wonderful. It's right on the water with beautiful views. I would recommend water shoes if you want to swim, as the shore is very rocky. There are lots of beautiful tropical fish swimming around, so bring snorkeling gear, if you have it. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Le logement est super pour un couple ou pour des amis . Il est calme mais situé à trois minutes en voiture de la plage et des restaurants. L’accès n’est pas si compliqué même avec une voiture de taille moyenne. Nous avons pu entendre les singes depuis le logement . Je recommande fortement

Our return visit to the lovely Casita Brisa del Mar was as stunning and idyllic as on previous stays. From the impeccable, sunny space, gracious details and fresh linens to the well-organized amenities, there is nothing left amiss. This little beach house is an oasis of serenity and easeful peacefulness. We truly enjoy its tranquility and elemental beauty and the sense of care Anna and Joe clearly bring to all they have created. The whole process is streamlined and easy, and Anna, while always available for any help needed, respects and honors the privacy of her guests. The walks on the beach and nearby paths make for wonderful jaunts with the comforts awaiting you once back at the casita, make it even more inviting! Britta and Alex place is a little gem in the jungle. Yet, just a few meters to a very nice beach. Bluff beach is not really swimmable but extremely beautiful to walk. The trail behind the beach is you plenty of chance to spot wild life. We saw sloths (with baby) hauler monkeys and beautiful birds. Tukans and others are resident on the island. And not to forget the red frogs everywhere. The accommodations are very nice. Clean and everything you may need. The hosts are very responsive and will accommodate with anything if possible. Gracious hosts that make you feel at home. Place is very private. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!! Nice restaurants within walking distance. Take the guided frog tour while there, very interesting. Nice place to be away from hectic life. Will come again.

We absolutely loved this mountain retreat. The open concept & jacuzzi let us enjoy all the incredible nature that surrounded us. Comfortable & modern furnishings in a remote setting, exactly what we wanted!

The tiny house cabin was such a beautiful place to stay! It’s cozy and you feel like you are in a secluded tree house. It’s a very quick walk to the main road and near several good restaurants, bars and beach clubs. It’s also very easy to get a cab to get into town. Walter was a great host and very responsive. He provided excellent directions and recommendations for tours, dining and more. The WiFi worked well for video calls if you need to work while there. Really loved my stay here and cannot recommend enough.

Excelente, un lugar hermoso en medio de la selva, a 15 min del centro de bocas. Tenías café para servirte en cualquier momento, un lugar tranquilo, limpio. Lo super recomiendo.

Merveilleux séjour! La chambre flottante est une expérience à vivre. Endroit calme, intime et une nature magnifique. Les installations sont construites et décorées avec goût et souci du détail. On peut voir des paresseux à quelques coups de rames de l'hébergement. Les hôtes, Sylvie et Olivier, sont vraiment sympathiques! Je recommande chaudement cet hébergement!

One of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed in on Airbnb. Thoughtfully designed, well appointed, fresh cut flowers, great amenities (outdoor shower, hammock, excellent WiFi, surfboard rental)….the list goes on. Importantly for me, no clutter, yet the home had a spirit which is so often the struggle on this platform. The location itself is ocean front, shared with two other homes. Cambutal is remote, you do feel like you’re in paradise from time to time, but there are enough modern outposts in town for you to eat and shop. Cheers to our hosts, much gratitude for this wonderful home you’ve created. We hope to be back soon!

Un espacio simplemente maravilloso, una de las mejores vista a el Volcan barú que e podido experimentar. Trabaje unas cuantas horas y el internet me funciono a la perfección, y contar con un tv con streaming y TV por cable es un extra que algunos lugares no ofrecen. Excelente comunicación con iris en general, lo recomiendo.

The casita was everything and more than I had hoped for! I was hoping to be away from the downtown for peace and quiet, yet close enough to go to town for the restaurants and cafes. This cute casita was in a perfect location! The surrounding nature and beautiful gardens were breathtaking and it was simply a delight to meander throughout the gardens and relax near the creek. A great place to hike too! I fully enjoyed my stay!

The bungalow was absolutely gorgeous! It was peaceful and quiet during the day but during the night it was quite noisy for us due to the storm and music. The swinging net was lovely to relax and you can also see starfishes and sometimes stingray and dolphins from the deck 🥹 the breakfast was included and the staff and food were 10/10 (especially the banana pancakes!). Overall would totally recommend staying there and also Stacy was very helpful with putting us in contact with guides for tours and taxi boats!
