Cosy Log Cabin in Aith, Shetland

Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Sea Winds, is a newly renovated c. 1760 two-storey listed townhouse located in the picturesque south end of Commercial Street, Lerwick. With beautiful open views over Bain's Beach, you can enjoy life by the sea with all the modern comforts of the house has to offer, including a wood burning stove. Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.

Set in it's own garden grounds with views over the Atlantic and the quiet Westside village of Skeld (40 minute drive from Lerwick) and the marina, you'll enjoy the best of Shetland hospitality with a chef prepared breakfast to start the day. Come and go as you please, you have your own front door and your own sitting room with a peat stove and Bose wifi music player. You also have exclusive use of the walk in shower and toilet. A country house full of art !

Two bedroom cottage in central Lerwick

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

Reclaimed ‘oot hoose’ located in Burra- a small fishing village on the west side, only 15 min drive from Lerwick. Burra is a lovely part of Shetland, & home to some of its most beautiful beaches and coastal views. The shop is a 2 minute walk away, where you can book a tour with ‘Shetland Sea Adventures’ fishing trips & tours of the outer islands. Air b&b is next to a bus stop with connecting services to Lerwick & other parts.

The Bulwark

This hidden gem of a house will take you into the heart of Shetland. Everything on your doorstep, yet settled in a quiet spot. Come breathe in the sea air, and watch the wildlife from the comfort of the couch. 10 Steps away and you will find yourself in an actual castle, with shops, restaurants, cafes, a museum, leisure centre and playpark all within a stones throw away. Cosy Home with a view

This modern, comfortable self catering house is a great base for relaxing after a busy day exploring Shetland . Although it is an annexe to owners home it is completely private .There are spectacular views across the bay where seals ,otters and sometimes Orcas can be spotted. There is a small beach 2 minutes walk from the accommodation also a swimming pool and local shop within easy walking distance .

The Chalet- Viewcliff

The Chalet is located in the quiet backstreets of Scalloway. Shops, restaurants and other amenities are only a short walk away. The Chalet itself is fitted out to a modern standard and is warm and cosy. The accommodation space is a bedsit format, with separate kitchenette and shower room. There is a double bed, and tucked away there is also a single bed if required.
