We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very compact and well situated. Reaching the beach takes about 10-15 minutes, but expect to climb a lot of stairs on your way back.

Armando’s house was very clean, and he was a very good host. He was communicative, welcoming, and even helped extend our checkout. A++ recommend.

Altea’s apartment is perfectly located close to both the main strip in the historic centre and the beachfront. The apartment itself is very quaint and the design mirrors the beachside lifestyle. The walls absorb heat particularly well and the apartment is fixed with a strong air conditioner, so it would make for a great summer stay. Altea is a very friendly and responsive host who was very accommodating with check in. There is minimal reception in the apartment and the wifi can be a little patchy so do keep this in mind, but you should feel confident that you will have a proper Tropean experience at Altea’s lovely apartment!

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at this Airbnb in Tropea, Italy! The unit was beautifully presented—clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen essentials to the cozy furnishings, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Photos do not do it justice. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the stunning beaches and charming streets of Tropea with ease. Only 10 minute walk to both. Noting also there are three supermarkets only 150 metres walk away. In particular Euro Spin a supermarket chain throughout Italy which has great food that you can cook at home or have something already cooked by them. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts Giuseppe and Pola who were welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Definitely the best Air B n B we have stayed at and also better than some 5 star hotels. Highly recommended—we would definitely return! Tropea is well worth the visit.

This was our first trip to this area and we hope to return. The location of Angelo’s place was an excellent base to explore the area. We enjoyed the beach below and did some snorkelling with lots of fish. We did not require much from Angelo while there but when we did he responded promptly and was very friendly. We would highly recommend Angelo’s place!

Marina’s place was close to everything. It was very spacious and modern with a large kitchen and bedrooms. It was well situated near the train station and the historic centre. An easy walk away! The view was great and the extra outdoor space was very nice to use. It is situated in a secure complex with gates, a pool and private parking. We highly recommend this place. And you couldn’t ask for a better host!

The apartment was perfectly located in Tropea old town . The common /shared terrace was absolutely beautiful. Michele and Cristina were lovely hosts and always available to help if we needed anything or had any questions . We will definitely be back !

This apartment was perfectly located and well equipped with everything we needed. Michela was a fantastic host and was quick to respond if we had any issues. She even provided us with welcome refreshments which was an added touch to make our stay even better!

Francesca is a wonderful host: friendly, helpful & quick to respond to messages. Her apartment is extremely clean and spacious and we enjoyed the sweeping balcony. Yes, the stairs and hill make it a bit of a climb to get there, but well worth it. A 10 minute walk to the centre of Tropea. We’d definitely choose to stay here again.

The apartment is perfect for a vacation! - and the terrace is the best place for evening conversations! The view is amazing! The area is quiet, everything is close! The residence is perfectly located for visiting the beautiful coast and is also a short distance from Tropea. The place is extremely quiet, surrounded by a well-kept garden. Vittoria was very helpful and friendly, she gave us detailed directions on the best spots for snorkeling. The cleanliness of both the indoor and outdoor areas is impeccable and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. We were also able to buy the oil and onions they produce. Perhaps the kitchen equipment could be slightly improved.

Loved our stay here and would love to return some day!! The space was clean and had everything we needed (and more!) It was easy to find and had plenty of free parking nearby. We were recommended several great places to eat & go that were all within walking distance. Will definitely miss staying here!!! Thank you again for your hospitality :)

We were happy with the apartment. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and quite modern. In particular, we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful, sunny terrace amidst blooming plants and run-away lizards. Stepping through the backdoor of the terrace, it took just a very short walk to Pizzo beach, which was like a lonely planet in mid- October. Liudmyla was very hospitable and provided useful information before check-in. Apart from a short power failure on a rainy day we had a perfect stay at Marinella. Strongly recommended!

We stayed in Helen's apartment for 10 days. Wonderful view! Spacious and livable apartment for 4 people. A well-maintained garden and enchanting pool. A place of great relaxation for our holidays.

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

Ondine is an absolutely pleasant host. The communication before our Journey to Capo Vaticano was great. We‘ve got all the Information in advance. We are also very grateful for recommendations in the „House Book“, we could visit a lot of places of beautiful Calabria. We also want to thank the property Manager Jack (Giacomo), he met us at the Apartment and was always available for every question. We were very happy with the House (Family of 5). Villa Sirena has everything you need for enjoyable stay: comfortable beds (!), air conditions in every room, laundry. We also enjoyed a beatiful view from a spacious Terrace. To the sea is about 3 Minutes by car. The Beach (Groticelle) is one of the most beautiful places we‘ve been. We thank Ondine for our restful stay in Villa Sirena and can absolutely recommend the house . Natallia & Family.

Stayed for 2 nights with another couple. Super close to the city center with lots of shops and restaurants! Beautiful view of the sea, beaches and castle. And of course, this place is so Cool inside! Only thing I would say was I wish the keys were labeled so we could know which one was which for each of the 3 doors to get inside and outside. It was a bit loud from people down below on the street in the middle of the nights, so keep windows shut. But overall great stay! Would stay again.

Very beautiful place, I would definitely go back, my wife and kids loved it. Everyone is super friendly. Tip: Stair master to prepare for the hike down the 200 plus steps to get to the beautiful beach and back up when you’re done (which we did and made a huge difference).

Had two nice nights! Great ocean view, close to the sea ( a bit tricky to get to the beach if you have small children though) But the pool at the building was great, and Danilo was a great host. Thank you! :)

Very nice residence, with well-kept and clean accommodations, there is everything x a family vacation. clean pool and friendly and helpful staff, a washing machine available for laundry... we will definitely be back 🫶🏻
