Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pays de la Loire

Enjoyed our stay in Vouneuil-sur-Vienne small house in the forest very clean and well arranged, quiet without vis-à-vis, with all amenities as well as shops nearby. Jean-Marc, our host, kind, helpful, available, ready to do anything to make our stay enjoyable. We had a great time. Having family in this area, we will definitely be coming back in October 2025. We would recommend.

Excellent stay in this very nice welcoming house with a magnificent sea view from the living room sofa, a very nice and large garden. As in the photos. The accommodation is very clean and large. Good point for the location with the beach 5 min walk in a quiet residential area. We enjoyed being able to visit Guérande, Carnac, La Baule all ready.

We highly recommend the house. The kitchen is well equipped, the house is spacious and you feel comfortable. The garden is very shady, which was perfect in the heat. Unfortunately, the street noise is a bit annoying, and the beautiful large trees cannot quite reduce it. For it was still a perfect place. William is also very friendly and helpful!

Jacqueline is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation matches the photos, everything is well done and practical (provision of towels, tissues, blanket). We had a great time. The only downside would be that for 10 people, 2 bathrooms (including one in the master suite) is a little tight and the fridge a little small, but when you come as a family you adapt and it works! We'll keep this address for next time. 😉 Thanks again for everything, Jacqueline, it was great!!!! 🤗

Nice well-appointed house in a nice garden, 10 minutes from Saumur. 2 very pleasant days, I recommend it.

We had a great time at Myriam's place. The house is very nice and very well-equipped, nothing is missing. The location is fabulous with great views and direct access to the coastal trail. We'll be happy to go back!

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Very friendly and pro-active hosts who respected our privacy. We absolutely loved the huge enclosed garden for our dogs and enjoyed our sundowner next to the river. We regretted not booking longer but we will return to explore the area. We highly recommend this gite if you enjoy tranquility and beautiful surroundings.

Great cottage! With many beds, impeccable bedding. Pleasant exterior, with a huge table and plenty of deckchairs. If you are looking for the calm of the countryside, you are in the right place.

Marion is a really charming, attentive and available host. His house is exactly as in the photos: very spacious, modern, comfortable and bright. The environment is ideally quiet, at the end of a cul-de-sac, with access to the forest and not far from the beach. I highly recommend this beautiful house.

It is a fantastic house that calls for relaxation and shared pleasure with friends Beautiful performance between the decor, the facilities such as the summer kitchen open to the garden, this beautiful swimming pool and this small bowling alley to finish spending a beautiful evening with friends... Claire's accommodation allowed us to have a great time. The garden, a pure joy. The little touches, such as a beautiful flower in the kitchen, the proposal of a ride on electric scooters, the bottle of dew... The hosts are really hosts that I recommend!!! The accommodation is perfect, not to mention the coolness of the old building especially when it's hot. Thank you

Great place to stay, I’m sure we’re coming back and for a longer visit. The host is amazing! The place has lots of history!

We extended very nice...lots of luck with the weather in addition! The walk to the GR34 side is beautiful, especially at sunset. Very well located for a walk in Guérande, La Baule, Piriac-sur-mer, and all the other seaside resorts in the region. Gite matches the photos and description, warm, well decorated and very well-equipped. Friendly welcome by Val and it's always nice to have little touches on arrival...very good lemon cake 😋 Good interaction with Gwen, who was later met. A special dedication, following Val's recommendations, for a restaurant "L 'amour à la plage" 7 minutes by car, taken over in April, with a veranda open to the beach and the sea...and "house" kitchen! A nice parenthesis...

It’ an unique old house located in the middle of the nature. Lovely quiet place with big garden. Patrick and Benny are really nice hosts, very friendly. We also enjoyed company of little dog Lilly and 3 peacocks.

A timeless place, where the soul breathes 🌿💫 This cabin in the heart of the woods is much more than just accommodation: it is a true interlude of harmony, a return to the essential. Surrounded by the forest and the river of almost unreal beauty, we felt a deep connection to nature... We were able to enjoy an aperitif on a boat, rocked by the water and silence, which gave us the impression of being alone in the world, the evening by the fire, the walks in the beautiful forest with our dog, who also loved the experience... We only spent one night there, but our minds stayed there much longer. Thank you to Abigail for sharing this beautiful place, for this luminous and rejuvenating experience 🤍

Wonderful place. Marlene is an extremely welcoming and charming host, the cottage is remarkably clean and the decor is beautiful, the linens and dishes are at the same level of perfection. The setting is idyllic, farm/countryside, view of the forest and the paddock with the horses nearby... Really fabulous! If you are looking for a place to relax in Normandy, this is the place to come. Oh, and the jacuzzi 🤩 Apart from beautiful walks and some provisions, we did not leave the cottage as we felt so good there. Oh, and the little touches too ❤️ Thank you Marlène

Absolutely amazing place, tastefully decorated, in an exceptional village. A lot of effort has been put into decorating, where well-being is. Being by the water with this view is just unimaginable. Just missing an oven (on the wall above the plates , my 2 cents) and a curtain in the room (hanging on the wall with rings, my 2 cents again). Truly an awesome experience.

This property is very special! I loved my time at it. It is such a warm property with so much character but has all the modern elements that are needed for a comfortable longer stay. The internet speed was fantastic as well and I could telework with no issues. The property is private without feeling isolated. I would love to return to this property in the future!

House even more impressive in real life than in the photos! Very pleasant stay, everything was perfect! Victor and Aurelie were both very kind and responsive. Maybe a little clearing around the padel court to avoid the regular loss of balls, but that's a detail. For the rest, really nothing to complain about, I recommend ++
