Such a great location that was surprisingly central to all the things we wanted to see. Robert was very attentive and friendly. He offered a wide spectrum of activities when I asked him for suggestions based on our interests. The space is clean, with clear instructions, and very comfortable. The bedding and pillows felt incredibly luxurious.

It is a wonderful place to stay when visiting portland. Within walking distance to take a bus to the train to get downtown. Within walking distance of a great butcher, market, parks.

I actually really like the neighborhood and the Airbnb, I think it was very walkable, safe and quiet. I was concerned that it being on a road that it would be loud however since the bedroom is in the back, I really didn’t even hear much cars (at no fault to the owner)- the upstairs neighbors were a little loud stomping, but it was bearable. I really enjoyed the stay here and the neighborhood!

I can see why people return to this air bnb, wonderful property and neighborhood, all the amenities you can ask for and extra special touches throughout- thank you!

5 stars doesn’t even seem enough for this absolutely perfect Portland gem. From the comfiest beds to an actual spotless home, Bens place was the best stay we could’ve asked for. We will only stay here when we travel to Portland in the future!!!!

James and Robert have a wonderful space. If you’re visiting Portland, stay here. Very clean, comfortable and really well appointed. They have a big information book with extensive restaurant lists and more! A quiet oasis!

The stay was great. Nicole was very responsive and offered help any time I needed it. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The building is in a nice area and within walking distance of many restaurants. It can get warm on hot days, make sure to keep the shade down and the AC on. Nicole provides many fans to help ventilate the apartment.

Great Location, you'll find everything in walking distance. Very quiet - great windows are certainly helpful for noise insulation from the street. Parking is only 1 block away. Very clean, well organized, you'll find everything you need for your stay.

Great basement level apartment. Neighborhood is beautiful and walkable. Everything you need and an incredible host. Our son lives just blocks away and we will be staying here everytime we visit if possible.

Amazing Airbnb! The location is great- being close to the city yet having a bit more quiet. The owners are truly the best. They continually went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their communication was consistently impressive, from my initial inquiry prior to booking all the tickets at through checkout. I was traveling with twin newborns & they were so helpful in setting my trip up for success. The Airbnb itself is thoughtfully arranged & more than you could ask for. Their back yard is AMAZING! Great open green space, camp fire area, dining & a great play set. We plan to be back soon! (: 10/10 would highly recommend!

Had a great week staying at Zoe's place. Parking easy on street across the road with permits provided by host. Saved on hotel parking and resort fees. Also enjoyed all the amenities Zoe has thought of. Literally has everything. Host was very responsive to any messages.

Great place to stay. Near two awesome restaurant/shop areas (mississippi and williams). Debra and Ludger gave some wonderful restaurant recommendations. Space had a sort of European feel: very cozy, cute sink, fun colors and bath tile. My husband LOVED that there was a coffee maker. I liked the tea pot. Area felt very safe. Neighbors quiet. I would definitely recommend to others and would consider staying there again. Bed comfortable. plenty of hot water. very quiet. We got there easily from airport with a combination of light rail and walking.

Marissa was great! Always responsive to any needs I had. The place feels like the weasleys basement from Harry Potter. It was tuff living without a TV for a month but I just used my imagination 👐 whenever I got lonely I just meowed back with the cat.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and felt super welcoming. The bathroom was absolutely incredible—spa-like and beautifully designed. The hot tub was a major highlight and made for such a relaxing experience. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Highly recommend!

The apartment felt homey. The private patio is wonderful. Very cozy relaxed feeling. Having a washer and dryer was great. My 15 year old grandson just loved the book window nook in his bedroom. Great stay - would highly recommend!

After staying back in 2021, this second visit felt like coming home (if home had windows that looked out in the the forest canopy and everything neat and tidy.) I just love the the view, the space itself, the trails, and above all the quiet! Susan is a responsive, friendly host who also feels to me like a guardian of the privacy.

I had a fabulous stay at Therese’s place! It was incredibly peaceful and calm, with stunning views of the river right from the bedroom — such a perfect way to start the day. Therese was so friendly and kind, and as it was my first time visiting Portland, she went above and beyond by recommending lots of great things to do and see. She even brought us our favorite breakfast items to enjoy— such a thoughtful touch! I would definitely stay here again anytime I visit Portland. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Poppy House! The home was in a great area with many things to do in walking distance. Lisa was very kind and communicative throughout our stay! We 100% recommend this place and would stay again!!

Best experiance ever for an Airbnb!!! 5 stars is not enough. i am already making plans to come back again. The property is beautiful, the inside is perfection, and felt like a retreat the moment we stepped out of the car. we felt spoiled and enjoyed every moment we were there. the only downside was having to leave. the bar is now set so high for anywhere else we go its going to be almost impossible to match this stay. I will be back again soon for sure...
