Holiday rentals with a patio in Pelkosenniemi

Cosy cabin is exactly that, warm and cosy. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed our stay in ounasvaara woods. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location in the middle of stunning walking trails. 5 min walk to a viewing point where we saw the northern lights. The cabin was equipped with everything needed for our 3 night stay, including sleds for the kids. Kaisa was a great host and very kind to allow us a late checkout.

We really enjoying our stay at the apartment of Johan. Enough space, clean and everything we needed was in place. His communication was fast, clear and always ready to help. He also arranged a late check out possibility which was very helpful. Overall the apartment was a great place to have a fun week in Rovaniemi and surroundings.

The accommodation is as described, despite "grandma style" everything was very well maintained, tidy and clean, the house offers plenty of space and a lot of toys for children. There are new mattress toppers and new bedding, very warm and good. The kitchen has incredibly good facilities. We enjoyed the bathroom and sauna. We were very satisfied! Unfortunately, there is no WiFi.

The stay at Keijo was wonderful. The place is as described and makes you feel right at home. Keijo was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend the place.

Easy to find with host's instructions. Very good stay! The only downside if we had known that there was coffee and shampoo in the apartment (the listing only said detergent), so we wouldn't have brought your own. 😉

Tidy and functional apartment! We found what was needed in the kitchen. The baby had their own bedding too:) Communication is really easy, I can recommend!

We were only there for a few hours. It’s close to the airport. Really nice place - modern and very clean with comfy beds.

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Good location, nice ambient

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

We had a great time at Saara‘s house. It‘s well located (30 min from Rovaniemi) and surrounded by beautiful nature. Especially the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Our highlight was the Sauna, we used it every day during our stay and loved it. We would really like to stay here again.

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We felt right at home! A super nice place with all necessary facilities. Deliciously extensive kitchen supplies which is nice for fanatics in the kitchen like us! The sauna, double shower and jacuzzi overlooking the slopes and a good JBL speaker are huge cherries on the cake! We greatly ENJOYED this place! Eero always responded super quickly and kindly and helped us if needed. You can also contact him for questions about things in the area. A lot is within walking distance nearby (supermarket, activities, slopes, restaurants). And even being able to see the Northern Lights at the cottage! Highly recommend!!!
