Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Una piccola perla: la casa ha tutto il necessario per passare una vacanza perfetta, e si trova in un posto idilliaco. Immersi nella natura con passeggiate e pedalate a due passi, mantenendo tutte le comodità di "casa" (cucina super attrezzata, doccia impeccabile e calda, lavatrice e asciugatrice, giardino con sdraio e tavolo, letto comodo,..). This is by far the most beautiful property my partner and I have stayed in. Jennifer & Nico were incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful with every aspect of the stay. The place itself has stunning views and the interior is flawlessly curated. The pictures don’t quite do justice to how magnificent it is. We had a perfect time & would highly recommend to anyone.

Die Wohnung von Valentina ist sehr sauber und schön. Der Blivk auf den Lago Maggiore ist fantastisch. Wir waren Anfang Juni dort und es war in der Nacht wirklich ruhig, man konnte mit offenen Fenstern schlafen. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Ein Parkplatz wäre hilfreich, aber man liest ja in der Beschreibung, dass es keinen Parkplatz und keine Klimaanlage gibt, von daher weiß man ja vorher Bescheid. Wir würden wieder kommen, für uns war es die perfekte, kleine Wohnung ! 💖 Danke Valentina ! 🥰

I had an incredible experience at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described – if not better. Avec tous les avis positifs, on se demande comment est-ce possible que ce soit aussi parfait. Et pourtant, le mot parfait n’est pas suffisant. Fabio est une personne en or: il m’a trouvé la meilleure option pour aller à Varenna comme il n’y avait plus de train; il m’a envoyé son chauffeur car nous avons loupés notre bus, il répond très rapidement. Pour un voyage, c’est très important car on peut se reposer dessus. Que dire de son appartement: la vue la plus belle du lac de Côme sûrement… Mille merci Monsieur Fabio
