Only an hour from the San Fernando Valley, Chris' Cabin is a world away from the hustle and bustle of LA. This is a convenient and inexpensive way to get away from it all for a week-end. We are walking distance from the village center, with restaurants, general store and clubhouse. Lots of local hiking!

Vintage 1970s Cabin in Los Padres National Forest

Located in a spectacular mountain setting just 90 miles north of Los Angeles, Pine Mountain Club is a residential community in the Los Padres National Forest. Relax & unwind while surrounded by acres of old forests that shelter an array of flora & fauna, including the rare California Condor. This gambrel cabin was one of the original homes built in PMC in 1976. The 70s vibe is still alive with cork floors, shag rugs, wood paneling, record players, an 8-track player & an orange Malm fireplace.

*Check-in is at 4PM, check-out is at 11AM. *ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING. *Pets allowed upon approval for an additional non-refundable $100 fee. Signed pet agreement required. NO CATS ALLOWED. *There is a hot tub electrical/heating and maintenance fee of $45 per stay. Please let us know if you are using the spa so we can prepare it for you. *Clubhouse access w/ guest cards Adelaide Hill sits on the edge of Pine Mountain Club, overlooking the breathtaking view of the endless Chumash Wilderness.

Heidi's Large Mountain Retreat Cabin w/ Sauna

7 bedrooms and a loft. 5 bathrooms, one w/ infrared sauna, vaulted ceilings, 3 fireplaces, open kitchen, BBQ, huge deck over-looking the mountain view & sunsets. Child & dog friendly (pet fee $50/dog). It snows typically December - March. Roads are well plowed & cindered but you have to be prepared with chains and/or AWD vehicle. You may have to use our snow shovels at the house to clear doorways and pathways after a storm. Our side yards have a gentle slope and perfect for kids to sled.

Cozy Rustic Cabin in the Mountains

Enjoy an easy inexpensive weekend getaway in this rustic mountain cabin just an hour and a half from LA. Rental includes access to Pine Mountain Club clubhouse; golf course; swimming pool in summer months, tennis courts; hiking in the mountains year round. PLEASE NOTE: I rent this as a HOUSEKEEPING CABIN - guests bring their own sheets and towels and clean the cabin when they leave. I don't charge a cleaning fee if guests leave the cabin clean according to a simple checklist.

Our cabin is equipped with a ping pong table, arcade games, board games, TV, and a BBQ grill! There are also many hiking trails and a clubhouse nearby! The club offers four restaurants, ranging from pizza to delicious mexican food. There are several gift shops, a bakery, and a grocery store, which offers a deli and butcher and more!
