Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pirates Beach

Beautiful home, well stocked, responsive hosts, clear instructions, great location, enjoyed the amenities: pool, kayaks on the canal, fishing from the dock and kayaks, well stocked with kitchen equipment, enough space for our guests, enough towels🤩, well worth the price! Liked how close it was to the state park. The beach is a 2min drive away and you are able to park on the beach. I would love to stay here again when visiting Galveston. Thank you to Tyler and Chris!

What a lovely place! The attention to detail from the waffle maker in the kitchen to the beautifully decorated home, Kelsey made our stay comfortable and enjoyable! We had plenty of blankets, pillows and a great starter kit! The house manual had lots of details about the home and the area. It was super helpful! The location was perfect, far enough away from the pier to be private and cozy and close enough to drive in every day if we wanted! The golf cart made it easy to get to the beach and added a touch of fun! It was our first visit to Galveston and we had such a great time, we hope to return again soon!

My family had a fabulous time at Hook,Wine and Sinker! The house is absolutely gorgeous!!! We loved the pool and hot tub The inside of the house is spacious and by beautifully decorated The master bedroom is fab and the beds are very comfortable The massage chair is a very nice touch We would definitely return to Hook,Wine and Sinker in the future!!’

absolutely amazing!! the house was beautiful and location was excellent. we had a golf cart delivered from Rick's and used it to get food from the pizza place, Mexican food, supplies from the food mart, go to the coffee shop, the neighborhood park... the incredible pool (heated!) and hot tub, the fishing right off the lower deck, all the areas outside to sit and chat, the wonderful kitchen for meal prep... we hardly left the house. and an elevator?? since all living area is on the second and third floors, it was great for loading and unloading. i can't say enough. we all said it was the BEST vacation!

This place was perfect for my husband and I. Perfect location, private and great view. Sam and Jackie communicated frequently during our stay. Everything was great.

Wow! Amy's place was perfect for our stay. The house is located close to the beach, it was very clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing with the mini pool table and the games when we weren't at the beach. We are already planning another trip and we'll definitely stay that this property again!

Such a beautiful and peaceful stay! Mark was a great host and communicator, and whenever we had questions, he was quick to respond. Our favorite part was sitting on the dock and watching the fish under the green lights at night. Highly recommend this stay.

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! Even with nearby homes, it felt quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly private—perfect for our family getaway. House was exactly as pictured, with a cozy, beach-weathered charm. The downstairs outdoor space was a highlight, and the hot tub was a great bonus (some sand in it, but totally expected at the beach!). The beach gear was definitely past its prime, but still appreciated and useful. The views were absolutely unbeatable, and despite the slightly higher price, we felt the experience and location were worth it. The only issue we had was an unexpected visit from a man who said he was there to check on some repairs. No one had notified us, and he entered bedrooms—including one where teenage girls were sleeping and our personal belongings were out. It caught us off guard, and I had to reach out to confirm he was actually sent by the host. A heads-up beforehand would’ve made us feel much more comfortable. Overall though, we had a fantastic stay!

Beautiful home! My family loved the space, my son loved the fun touches in the house. Very neat, and tidy. Pool was nice, and we felt rested! Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Our family enjoyed our stay - The best part was how close it was to the beach. We have 2 under 2 and it was easy to visit the beach multiple times throughout our stay. The host was responsive and kind. The property itself showed some signs of wear and tear, but I imagine that's pretty consistent with the harsh conditions of being near the beach (salt water, wind, humidity, etc.) The kitchen had everything we needed and the balconies were delightful in the evenings. Unfortunately it rained 5 inches during our stay, but thankfully the property and our car was on high ground and never in danger of flooding even though properties around us were flooded.

It was our first time using an Airbnb and Whitney made the experience wonderful. I was stressed trying to find a last minute place for a work trip when I found Whitney and she was so helpful. The place was so nice, beautiful, and peaceful. All instructions left for us were very clear and easy. I would 110% come back for a regular vacation!

Super duper clean space and decorated nice. Low water pressure in shower and kitchen. The AC units kept clicking off during the middle of the night and waking us up. Enjoyed our stay and plenty of space.

This was the cutest place we’ve ever stayed in Galveston. Clean, family friendly, great location. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! Definitely booking more vacations here in the future.

This place is awesome, there was a foosball table that the older kids enjoyed. The house is on a lake that is beautiful and a kayak to enjoy. I had 4 teens with me that lived every minute of it, they swam in the lake and also fished. There is a great backyard with a fire pit that we used for roasting marshmallows and a bbq pot as well. It is also about 30 minutes from the beach so that is great as well. I could go on and on about this house, we had a great time!

Shonario was a great host! He checked on us everyday and made sure we were comfortable. The house is very conveniently located to visit the Space Center, Galveston, Moody Gardens and Kemah Boardwalk. We enjoyed the stay and kids enjoyed the board games.

Extraordinary experience if you are looking to have a taste of what living in 1905 looked like. From the original architecture to the furniture and the history of the house, our stay was filled with wonder.

I stayed with friends and family for Labor Day in September and this oceanfront house was very nice.
