The apartment is great - very clean, modern, well-equipped. We were greeted by fruit, sweets and drinks, it was a very nice surprise! The village is lovely, the locals are very friendly. I recommend!

I spent 3 wonderful days in Policoro at Mrs. Margherita's house. Very kind host, ready to meet all my needs. In particular, Mrs. Margherita was asked for a kindness that I will not mention for privacy. She met the request without batting an eye. A very empathetic and helpful lady. What can we say about Mr. Mimmo, who welcomed us as if we had known each other forever. Mr. Mimmo made us find the apartment in an impeccable way. During our stay, he offered us two baskets of organic fruit, probably from his own land. The peaches and apricots are delicious. He also offered us a bottle of wine from his vineyards... what a treat. The apartment is located right in the center and is equipped with all comforts. Surely if I had to go back to Policoro, I would go back to this apartment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had already booked the apartment some time ago for my parents, who had a great time. This time I had the opportunity to stay there personally with my sisters and my girlfriend, and I can confirm the great impression my parents had had. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is perfect: magnificent view and a quiet and relaxing place. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Nico's beautiful apartment for 5 days and used it as a perfect base to explore not only Matera but also other nearby tourist gems like Alberobello. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the entrance of the Sassi and conveniently close to a multi-storey car park. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with a fully functional kitchen. The quiet location, combined with blackout blinds in the bedrooms, made for an exceptionally peaceful night’s sleep. Communication in English was excellent and our arrival was well coordinated. Highly recommend "Le Ferule" for anyone wanting a comfortable, well-located place to stay while exploring Matera and the surrounding area!

Very clean, spacious and functional accommodation. Several shops and a gas station nearby, and good location to discover Puglia (car needed!). Domenico is very nice, good advice and welcoming despite our late arrival.

We were guests of the Proff Filomena in the spring that blooms. Her home is nestled in a small fenced park where tall poplars and fruit trees coexist. Magnificent sunny days took us to discover the Park and a warm focherello welcomed us when we returned, along with the delicacies that our host had left us in the purest spirit of hospitality. The atmosphere is magical! Our enchanted dog, Cora, enjoyed the crutches left for her and enjoyed a great protected freedom! The home is fully equipped for both short and long-term stays. Very clean and super welcoming. The location is enviable in every aspect and the knowledge of the territory of Filomena made us enjoy the short time we had budgeted, but we have already booked for the return trip for a longer stay. Filomena really offered us an enchanted world full of affection! Thanks and talk to you soon!

Leonardo and Giovanna are amazing hosts, and their place was gorgeous , set in an olive tree orchard . They are amazing people , left us fruits and veggies from their garden and even let us taste some of the artisanal olive oil they make. This was the most memorable Airbnb of our stay in Puglia. Definitely recommend.

Very good stay with family, the accommodation is very nice and well-equipped, we really enjoyed the large private terrace in the quiet middle of the olive fields. The location makes it easy to reach, in 15 minutes by car, the main places to visit in the region (Monopoli, Alberobello, etc.)

Very nice modern and comfortable apartment, ideally located for visiting the Itria valley but also Matera, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli... Marilù really gives very good advice and is a very considerate host. The only small remark I would have to make concerns the breakfast equipment. A coffee pod machine and a kettle would be welcome. Despite your kindness in offering coffee in a bar, if I rent a place it's to be at home, not wanting to go out as soon as I get out of bed. But the Italian coffee maker worked well. If I were to come back to the area, I would come back to Marilù's.

We throughly enjoyed our time at Filippo and Carmela’s studio . We used Castelanetta as a base to explore all the beautiful places around the Puglia/Basilicata region. The studio was a great place to ‘come home to’ after a busy day sightseeing. Carmela and Filippo were very welcoming and even invited us to watch a street procession of one of their church celebrations, which was lovely of them🙏

Very well located apartment. Large and matches the photos. Giuseppe is responsive and accommodating. Only a fire on the small stove works. It's enough to make the small kitchen.

I stayed with my family in Laura's apartment. The accommodation is well-kept, comfortable and large, the beds very comfortable. Thanks to Mr. Angelo, co-host and Laura's father who welcomed us with courtesy and kindness, also leaving us a pleasant surprise. If the opportunity arises, we'll be back. Thank you

The Trullo is located in a quiet, peaceful setting about 10 minutes from Alberobello. It was a good base to visit surrounding towns. It is 2 separate apartments each with their own kitchen and bathroom. We were 2 single women travelling so we each had our own space. There was a selection of breakfast items and a coffee machine so that we could begin our mornings You absolutely need a car. There is only one restaurant in the small town of Coreggia. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant is closed Tuesday. I recommend getting a few groceries to have in your fridge. Lucia was a great, generous and accomodating host! Due to illness, we had to delay our arrival by 4 days. There happened to still be availability beyond our original booking date. We were able to extend the reservation, without being charged for the extra days. I can't thank Lucia enough! Lei è stata gentilissima!!!

It was a pleasure to stay with Salvatore because not only was the accommodation perfectly matched the description with a silent air conditioning in the room, not insignificant, but our host was considerate and has a real source of information about the must-see places to see in the province of Taranto (restaurants, beaches...) Thanks to him. We will not forget this stay in Ginosa!😍

Staying at Maddalena's was great, we felt welcomed and pampered. Very tidy and very clean house in a strategic position both to live the life of Matera and to visit the stones and various attractions of the place. Maddalena with her directions was valuable, allowing us to experience a stay full of relaxation, good food and culture. We will definitely be back!

I stayed at Anastasia's place for over a month while traveling and working remotely. The apartment is bright, spacious and modern, with excellent internet connection that is more than suitable for work. Extra towels, linen and plenty of utensils were provided. The extra room with a desk makes for a great office, however the office chair that is visible in the pictures was not available. Additionally, the large TV in the kitchen/living room is replaced with a smaller one. The apartment is on the top floor of a residential building and features a small yet decently fast elevator. Parking situation around the apartment is a bit challenging and you might have to spend anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes looking for a free parking spot, often with some additional walking required to get back to the apartment. With that in mind, I'd say it's still a very good place to stay if you're in the area and I would recommend it without hesitation.
