We had the most amazing experience! The property is stunning and pictures don’t do it justice. All the staff are so welcoming and so helpful. They helped us book a Vespa tour and gave us recommendations for dinner spots. So much to do by car around the area!

This stay felt like something out of a movie! We were greeted with such warmth. The house is so beautiful and well-renovated—high quality details from the bathroom to the woodwork plus the plot of land is quintessentially Tuscany. And when Andrea found out we didn’t have a rental car, he offered to drive us! We had a wonderful time at a nearby winery, Tenuta Barbadoro, then watched the sunset from a field near the main downtown area before having a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant, Restaurante Bistrot lo Zero. We woke up to the smell of croissants and sound of chirping birds. The perfect Italian countryside experience.

Silvia's San Croce Terrace was a pleasure. It is easily accessed by bus from Santa Maria Novella station and a short walk to the major attractions and restaurants. We found the apartment to be very clean and well accessorized. Silvia even provided breakfast items such as yogurt, milk, juice and bread for toast. And then to be able to sit on the terrace at the beginning or end of the day was very nice. We highly recommend Silvia's San Croce Terrace.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Italy! The property was even more stunning in person—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. What really made our stay exceptional, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive throughout our visit, always available if we had questions or needed anything. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Very suitable for our group of 5 , each room with a bathroom . Breakfast included was great. Fridge always stocked with water/beer/ fruit etc. Tea/coffee always available, Nice clean kitchen.

This is the second time we visit Sabrina's lovely place. Sabrina and the family are always sweet, welcoming and very friendly. The place is so clean and tidy and you feel at home. The pool area is also really nice. If you need peace and quiet and the most beautiful view, then this is the place.

The accommodation is very comfortable, the room and bed is large and very clean, it is very quiet not heard the noises of the street even though they are building. Lorenzo is very kind and friendly. He was attentive to us since we got off the train. He guided us to the accommodation and welcomed us very cheerful and gave us food recommendations and places to know. The only thing we didn't like but it was not an impediment to feeling good was that the bathroom that, although it was private, was left outside the room. The location is very residential and from the center you have to take a tram since you walk quite a lot in Florence.

Ilaria has been a great responsive host that catered to any and all needs. Would definitely recommend this house/host if you’d like to be in a very central airbnb to all musuems/historic places in firenze

The renovated mill was a great place to relax! There was a really nice pool and huge garden as well. The breakfast service was very delicious and varied everyday. The family was really friendly and helpful - definitly would recommend the place :)

I could not recommend Il Segreto more. We had a perfect stay—the room, the view, the food. Every detail is perfection and so thoughtful. The hospitality is incredible. The breakfast and dinner were the best of our entire trip. I’m so grateful I found this gem. Don’t hesitate and stay here. We will we back!!

We were guests of Alessandra on the bridge of the first of November to relax, visit the neighboring villages, taste the local specialties and have fun in the city of Lucca in celebration. The location is really evocative, characteristic and surrounded by greenery. In fact, the house overlooks a beautiful garden with olive trees and many plants. A home that tells a story, paintings, objects, and family collections make the structure unique and special. The room is cozy, clean, with sheets, towels, TV and comfortable closet. The spacious bathroom, also very clean. The b&b was quite easy to reach and there is the possibility of leaving the car in the private parking lot of the property. Alessandra was very professional, very kind, never intrusive and at the same time always present for any need in the structure. For breakfast he made us delicious cakes and cookies and offered many other things! We'll definitely recommend the property! I hope you're doing well. Nick and Ila

This stay was beyond our dreams! The scenery was breathtaking and the care from the team was the best! They were always kind and helpful when needed. The room was lovely and the gardens where you can sit and relax were a great bonus! The pool was exquisite! Everything here was a 10/10! Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our five days in Cristina’s rustically charming room. Everything you need, from a small supermarket to great restaurants are all within a five-minute walk. It is in a more quiet neighborhood but close to the Tower and a 25- minute walk to the main train station. Oh, and the two sweet schnauzers, Lucy and Trudy, are a great bonus for animal lovers.

Our stay with Daniel and Daniela was PHENOMENAL. The location is even more beautiful than the pictures and the food was expertly prepared by Daniela and served by Daniel with so much love! The wine and olive oil made from the surroundings was a special touch on top of it all! We had excellent conversations with Daniel and Daniela and they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. You can tell they truly love hosting and we would recommend booking with them 100/10!

I had a very nice room in a place with indescribable views. However, you should know that the place is very remote. Ruth and her husband were extremely friendly and accommodating. It feels very nice.

This was a beautiful location and right in the heat of this tiny town. One of the museums is literally outside your door. Breakfast was amazing! I’d definitely recommend these accommodations!

Lorenzo and Claudia's service was excellent, 11 out of 10. The place is a paradise on earth and the mansion (not house) exceeded all our expectations. The directions for arrival and stay, always clear and precise. The lawnmower robot gave us no problems and the girls were able to enjoy the pool on a hot days. Easy access from Pisa, Lucca, or Florence. We will definitely return and use it as a reference point.

Traveling alone, I found myself less confident and reclusive in my first 2 weeks in Italy. Upon reading reviews, I had a feeling Suzi would snap me out of it. And she DID!! She was so welcoming, made me a delicious dinner the first night, and made me a part of her family for the week. I was even invited to her milestone birthday party with all her lovely friends, and then another joint birthday family dinner at home. She gave me a bunch of awesome recommendations, always asked if I needed anything, and calmed me down when I called her in despair, being lost in a field somewhere, lol! The room was huge and cozy, the shower sooo nice! (I was in the room off the kitchen) Suzi is very intelligent and we had some interesting conversations. Her two dogs Tyra and Gigi stole my heart immediately. I will be back, maybe as a work away! I will never forget your kindness and the remarkable woman you are <3

Gabrielle’s bnb was fantastic! Beautifully located in the Chianti country side, you are super close to incredible vineyards, restaurants, etc. The views are stunning, the pool is perfect, breakfast was great every day, and the entire property just feels dreamy. If we came back to this region I would gladly stay again.

Our stay at the B&B Sottomonte was simply fantastic. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Adam, the host - you immediately feel at home. Adam was not only incredibly friendly, but also extremely helpful: he gave us great tips for excursions, restaurants and hidden highlights in the area that made our vacation really special. The house itself is beautifully located - in the middle of the Tuscan countryside, quiet and idyllic. Our room was lovingly furnished, very clean and comfortable. We particularly liked the breakfast - fresh, regional and prepared with love. Sottomonte is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the real Tuscan way of life. We would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back. Thank you, Adam, for this unforgettable time!

Maria Livia’s place was fantastic. Spotlessly clean and well-appointed in a beautiful location. Excellent value for money and Maria Livia was a wonderful host. I would happily stay there again.

No need to look any further. You’ve found where you want to be! Chris’s place is a piece of heaven. It is so beautifully and authentically decorated with traditional wooden beams and stunning furniture, comfortable sofas and beds with all the amenities you need. The pool and gardens are a dream with plenty of seating options and such pretty views, surrounded by greenery and full of charm. Not to mention the beautiful dogs, Lucca and Sienna and the donkeys! It is the Tuscan countryside, so don’t be surprised by the mosquitoes and the little geckos. Then of course, there’s Chris himself, who is so kind and friendly and makes you feel so welcome and at home! It was my MIL’s birthday and he went above and beyond to help make it that extra bit special! He is such a wonderful and generous host who works tirelessly to create this haven that we had the privilege of staying in. So thank you Chris, for everything! Best place we’ve stayed in Italy so far!

Lavinia's solution is perfect for short (but not too short!) stops. The garden is fantastic, the common areas are welcoming. Lavinia and her mother are polite and caring people, but not intrusive at all. The room is perfect for resting and photos correspond exactly to reality. Thank you! PS the breakfast was… delicious!
