Garden Retreat - Loire Valley

Our 'Garden Retreat' is a tranquil, elegantly furnished cottage overlooking a sunken garden. The accommodation has a bedroom (queen-sized bed), a fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a sleeper-sofa, and a small office mezzanine. The garden is large with multiple places to sit and enjoy the shade or the sun. The Loire River itself is only 150 yards from the flat. Large individuals take note: the shower is a standard 67cm x 67cm. Although we love pets; but we have a one pet only policy.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

Qui s’articule autour d’un patio de 40m2 où l’on retrouve le spa pour 4 adultes et un jardin intime avec une piscine chauffée . Côté jardin: vous pourrez profiter de la terrasse avec deux ambiances . Un coin salon avec un canapé d’angle et un espace dînatoire sur une belle terrasse donnant sur la piscine et équipée d’une pergola bioclimatique. Une cuisine équipée avec un piano ,lave vaisselle ,un grand frigo .

The "Lodge" townhouse in Doué la Fontaine, near the Arena Hall and Zoo. This accommodation features one bedroom upstairs with a bathroom and toilet. 1 additional bed (comfortable sofa bed) in the living room, a dining area with all the necessary kitchen equipment, and a washing machine. The accommodation was fully renovated in 2022. A decor inspired by the Doué la Fontaine Zoo A spacious terrace, sheltered from the wind and out of sight, will allow you to spend pleasant moments.

The "Hidden Treasure" is only ¼ hour from Niort, 1 ¼ hours from La Rochelle, 2 hours from Bordeaux (TGV) and 2 ¼ hours from Paris (TGV). It is an ideal place for a relaxing stay with family, friends or comfortable accommodation for colleagues on retreat. As soon as you arrive, you will be charmed by the calm and elegance of this peaceful environment. Nestled in an enchanting setting, “Hidden Treasure” offers the space you need to fully recharge your batteries.

River View Cottage

River View Cottage is directly on the River in The Loire Valley...close to all the Vineyards and Famous Chateaux's, where you may enjoy using our Paddle Boards and Kayak to explore or have a massage to take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. There is excellent fishing from our private dock ! Small, friendly dogs under 5kg Only !! are welcome, as we have a very small Yorkshire Terrier who will want to play and be best friends with your dog...

Spacieux et convivial, il attend d'accueillir des gens simples et respectueux qui aiment se retrouver et passer de bons moments entre eux. Le coin piscine (cloturé) vous offrira des heures d'amusement! Situé dans un petit village calme du Marais Poitevin mais a seulement 15mn du centre-ville de Fontenay Le Comte.
