Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Playa del Carmen

Jess’s place was everything we imagined and more. Beautiful gem well worth the price plus, very responsive and helpful hosts.

This was our third stay at Casa Dulce and it will NOT be our last. Great location in Playacar Fase 1 with a private pool to cool off in after walking around 5th Avenue (about 10 minute walk) or spending the day at the beach which is less than 2 blocks from the home. Alizee sent an email before our arrival with restaurant suggestions as well as suggestions of things to do. The AC was a definite plus. We would turn it on before bed and the room was nice and cool for sleeping. Highly recommend this Airbnb location in Playa del Carmen

The place is very quiet, safe and very close to all the entertainment places you can look for in Playa del Carmen. The hospitality that Claudia provides is unparalleled, always very attentive. We are grateful for all the attention that she gave us and the very good recommendations that she made. In short, we will return, because it made us feel not only that we were at home but that it made us feel as if we were someone in his family.

Gustavo's place was just what we needed. Don't expect 5-star service, rather authentic Mexican living in an amazing place with 5 different outdoor locations to chill. There are leaves (it's a jungle paradise), and be careful for occasional branch that may fall. It's beautiful, serene, peaceful. There were also some bugs in the back (but it's a jungle paradise and we were there in May); one of the many terraces has a bug curtain that helps manage that. It's shady in the back, full sun on the shared rooftop (we didn't see anyone else up there). It's not a tourist neighborhood FYI! I've been to Playa del Carmen 4 different times, and this place was the best! Also the best local food close-by. So relaxing, and so many birds that sing all day! We spent most of the time in the casa. Pool has to be skimmed (the yard's greenery is spectacular -> leaves), but Gustavo is very responsive and helped run the filter mid-week as well. Gustavo speaks Spanish, use Google Translate if you need it.

Manuel and Mayezka were very responsive. The bed is comfortable and the shower quite nice for Mexico standards. Powerful AC keeps the bedroom quite cold and the rest of the house a moderate temperature. It is a 15 minute walk from the beach. I felt very safe, even as a single woman. Enjoyed the private courtyard a lot. Only downsides, the kitchen is not very well stocked and I ended up taking a taxi into town almost every day via the InDrive app. Oh! Do yourself a favor and visit Kaawa Coffee Roaster/ Shop just a few blocks away! Full ham & cheese croissant sandwich with lettuce and tomato for $3 USD. Also, many people say there are so many expats in Playa that one does not need to speak Spanish, which is not true in this part of town (Nicte-ha). I'm in another AirBnB now that is walkable to 5th Ave for the same price, but the quality is severely lacking in comparison. So, if you are looking for a high quality place and don't mind taking a Taxi, this is a great choice!

Everything was perfect, from the accommodation to the communication with Nimsi. I would definitely stay there again. The house is very good, the amenities are very good, everything is in perfect condition. Thank you very much for having me and my family 💞

We had a short stay in this Airbnb but it was very good, we were very well looked after. The bed is comfortable and the accommodation spacious! The balcony with the hammock is very nice

I saw good reviews before deciding to stay at the accommodation and I can confirm that it is worth staying here. First of all, the room is quite comfortable, very tidy, everything is impeccable, in short I was delighted, everything matched the photos and the description, it is well worth the price I paid, and if you go up to the rooftop in the afternoons you can take good photos and see a beautiful sunset. The hosts were attentive to me every second I was there, answering the questions I had. I can definitely say that I really enjoyed my stay here, the location is perfect, very close to Fifth Avenue, and I can safely say that this is my new favorite Airbnb in Playa del Carmen. I hope the hosts give me the opportunity to stay again, I highly recommend it.

It's an excellent place if your plan is to visit several places. It's comfortable, beautiful and even when we didn't go out, the pool relaxed us. It's ideal for couples

I was there for a week the host reach to me the same of checking in to make sure everything was fine the unit was excellent as described location if you are familiar whit La Quinta well you are one coner street away close to 38th north great restaurants on that Calle close access to beach public clean lots of space a excellent location and services 5 star rating from me and recommended.

Stay here! Carlos is immediately responsive and accommodating. The building is safe and the apt: squeaky clean, quiet and comfy with all the amenities + breathtaking views from the rooftop pool. Located in one of the nicest spots in Playa and completely accessible to everything by foot. Really great experience!

Great place. Right off 5th Ave and you can walk to all the places, including Mamita's Beach Club. This is not a street-facing unit, and the main entrance door opens into the balcony of the apt, which is an odd concept, but the inside is excellent and updated.

Jess is very kind, always very attentive, the place is better than the photos describe. With a good signal, always disinterested in any place and central to move to any point of the Mayan river. Congratulations, 5 stars without a doubt.

This was my second time staying with Ronn! It was so great the first time that I had to come back! 1. The condo is beautiful with a gym and rooftop pool. Inside the condo building there is a jungle setting that’s stunning! 2. It’s walking distance to the beach in a few minutes and steps away from coffee, breakfast, groceries, food and a quiet spot with live music. 3. It’s on the quiet end of 5th ave so you’re not dealing with the party animals but close enough to walk down for night life if you choose. 4. Ronn allowed a late checkout for my late flight. However, if another guest was checking in you can leave your bags with the secure front desk. This is the best place to stay in Playa!!

Awesome! Definitely the best place you can find in Playa del Carmen, the apartment felt like being at home, it doesn't miss anything at all, it has everything, its apartment and the luxury facilities, the great amenities, Olivia was very attentive and very friendly, walking to 5th avenue was a great walk, it's like 12 minutes, definitely I'll be back! the best place in Playacar is here!

Stay Cielo was an amazing host! Very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The room was just as gorgeous as the pictures, with beautiful decor and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here. We'd love to stay again!

They welcomed us with a super clean, organized apartment and with all the amenities to have an extremely comfortable experience. The access instructions were perfect, the atmosphere was private and quiet. We were able to rest and enjoy Playa del Carmen. Absolutely loved my stay! The place was clean, stylish, and just perfect for a relaxing getaway. The private pool was peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for lounging any time of day. One of the best parts was the beautiful view overlooking Playa del Carmen, truly breathtaking, especially at sunset. Great location to get to 5th street and the restaurants. Would definitely come back and highly recommend.

The rental is literally in the middle of everything 5th street has to offer. The private pool is a special amenity. We used the kitchen to make a few meals. About a 3 minute walk to the beaches. And on top of all that I can’t say enough nice things about Stefano. He was very quick with replies for any messages we sent him. We had an issue arise and needed to leave 2 days early. Without any asking he refunded us for those days. He didn’t need to do that and we weren’t expecting him to. Shows what a truly nice person he is. Thank you again Stefano.
