House holiday rentals in Pleasure Island

We come to wrightsville beach several times per year and we will be back to this home. It had a great layout got a large family. We came with our 2 sons and our 4 grand children and never felt cramped. It's a home we will frequent while in wrightsville.

This place was absolutely beautiful! It was able to accommodate all my family from out of state. The hose (Sean) was AMAZING and very accommodating! If you are wanting a secluded oasis, this is your place. I will absolutely book the place again!

We really enjoyed the stay! The pool was great, being right on the beach and near the boardwalk was wonderful and Carolina beach wasn’t too crazy! The only thing to be aware of is there are a lot of stairs with this house

Great house and location, beach and restaurants are walkable, conveniently located close to everything you’d need. Pool and outdoor area are great for evening and morning before or after the beach.

Darlene was a fantastic host! She communicated quickly when I had any questions. Her house was probably one of the best stocked AirBnBs that we've stayed at. The pool was so private, I knew we had neighbors, but could not see them. The house was perfect for our family! We loved Carolina Beach!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The host was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming she made sure everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell she really cares about her guests and puts a lot of love into her hosting. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. This is our second visit in this beautiful house. Everything you need for small kids and the island is one of our favorite places! Great hosts! Great house! We will be back.

Our family of 4 loved staying at Hamlet House! The hosts have thought of everything down to lens cleaning wipes for cleaning salt water off your sunglasses! This home was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our young boys enjoyed bunking together and had plenty of room to play. The closeness to the beach is great. And we especially enjoyed swimming in the pool after being at the beach all morning. We rented a golf cart for trekking to the beach since our kids are so young. We did have to pay for parking every day which is my only negative comment about Carolina Beach but nothing negative to say about Hamlet House!

Used this place as a romantic getaway and it was absolutely perfect! The beach is right outside and the balcony ocean view was everything. Waking up to the sound of the waves was beautiful. The entire place was beautiful and felt at home. Host provided everything we could’ve ever needed. This was such a peaceful experience that I’d recommend to anyone. Great for a solo, couple, or family getaway! Proximity to restaurants, events, and things to do was also very nice. Could walk or drive almost anywhere.

Had a great stay at Kevin's place. Short walk to the beach, easy check-in, as described in photos! Kevin was always quick to reply before and duing my stay to messages.

We rented this house for a week to share with our kids and grandkids. It fit our needs perfectly and we had a great time! It was a nice layout for family, a short walk to the beach, a bit farther to the shops but we actually preferred that. We borrowed a golf cart from a friend and rode our bikes so not an issue. The house had all the amenities we needed for a lovely stay. Matt and Shawn were very friendly and responsive to all of our questions. It would have been helpful to have directions for using the elevator before we started unloading the cars. That’s it! It was a memorable week!

Dune Daddy was such a wonderful, memorable experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and being right on the beach with an outside shower and lovely porch to sit on in the mornings and evenings was such a joy. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return there again in the future!

holly & ari were great hosts! the home was quiet, clean, and exactly like the photos. while small it’s exactly what you need for a few days at the beach with a lot of thoughtful extras like beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc you can use and don’t need to bring from home. we had a great time and especially loved how pup friendly it was (speaking of thoughtful extras- had toys & treats for the pups!). we would 100% come stay again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was an ideal location to the beach and to the aquarium. The accommodations were great! Everyone settled in and chose their room and enjoyed a loud night of ping pong competition. We look forward to booking again! Definitely a five star experience! Thank you!

Ramith’s house was beautiful! Had a great view of the ocean, and was short distance to the beach. It was clean and spacious for our work retreat. Would recommend 100% hope to be back soon!!

MK’s place is nothing short of magic. We will no longer stay anywhere else on the island- we absolutely love it here! It’s stunning and right in the middle of everything. We feel sad every time we leave.

My family all loved Charlie’s house! It was a great layout for adults chatting around the kitchen bar while kids had room to play. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Having the linens in plastic wrap was a nice touch and felt very clean and safe. The beach was really nice in front of the house. Climbing over the dunes gave us a good workout, but also gave us privacy from beach walkers, etc. Hoping to rent here again!

We had the best time!! We were able to bring our boat and park it at the boat dock. I will say if you have a bigger boat I don’t know if you will be able to park there all weekend, but not a far drive at all to a boat ramp. The place was very clean and had all the things you will need! There is even dog toys and a bed! Betsy was super helpful and nice. We will definitely come and stay many more times.

This is one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in! Just a few blocks from the beach and her home is immaculate…Comfortable beds, super clean and all of the amenities one could want.. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette trip (she wanted peaceful and relaxing) and our stay was EXACTLY that!! We felt right at home and enjoyed our coffees on the porch each morning, an easy walk to the beach, and tons of excellent local recommendations from Amanda :) we loved our stay and loved the Kure Beach/Wilmington area, so we will definitely be back!!

Had another place under contract but cancellation due to mechanical issues. Found this location and it turned out to be the perfect place for our family vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this home for a special family celebration! The house was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, with plenty of room for our group of adults and young children to relax and enjoy. The short walk to the beach access made it super convenient, and the location was ideal for everything we needed. Matthew was an outstanding host—responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was equipped with everything we needed, and when a small issue came up, he responded quickly with helpful solutions. We’d absolutely book again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed Carolina/Kure beach getaway!
