Pleasant alternative to traditional public transport can be the use of the boats of the navigation of Lake Como, starting from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Although surrounded by woods and vineyards, the house is only a 2-minute drive (15-minute walk) from the bus stop and a café/bakery, and a 15-minute drive from the center of Bellinzona. Bellinzona-sud highway exit is a 5-minute drive away, and the train station is a 25-minute walk away. Great for hiking and biking.
