Best experiance ever for an Airbnb!!! 5 stars is not enough. i am already making plans to come back again. The property is beautiful, the inside is perfection, and felt like a retreat the moment we stepped out of the car. we felt spoiled and enjoyed every moment we were there. the only downside was having to leave. the bar is now set so high for anywhere else we go its going to be almost impossible to match this stay. I will be back again soon for sure...

We stayed for a week and loved it! The river was in walking distance and the downtown area was beautiful (we visited the soda shop multiple times). The space itself was perfect for the two of us. It was clean and the duckies in the pond were one of our favorite things. Additionally, any time we had issues the host responded almost instantly. We thoroughly enjoyed our nice, quiet stay.

Cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had staying at Rivers Retreat. It truly is a magical place right next to the Washougal River where you are surrounded by nature and can hear the peaceful river below. The hosts are more than helpful and we were grateful for their recommendations. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles and relaxing by the bonfire. The indoor space was very well kept and full of amenities. We will definitely return for another stay if ever in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Sygarry’s place. The private bedroom and bathroom provided the perfect level of comfort and privacy. The location was ideal, as it was within walking distance to downtown/PSU and had easy access to transportation options like buses, street cars, and the Max. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting Portland!

This two bed, one bath ADU is lovely. The private deck looks out on the water. There is a shared pier with chairs. We sat there and watched the Bald Eagles. The place is very quiet and private. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. I would return to this place in a heartbeat!

I had a fabulous stay at Therese’s place! It was incredibly peaceful and calm, with stunning views of the river right from the bedroom — such a perfect way to start the day. Therese was so friendly and kind, and as it was my first time visiting Portland, she went above and beyond by recommending lots of great things to do and see. She even brought us our favorite breakfast items to enjoy— such a thoughtful touch! I would definitely stay here again anytime I visit Portland. Highly recommend!

Our stay was lovely! So many thoughtful touches, such a lovely space. Would be great for use as a base for winter fun on the mountain or summer by the river. 10/10 no notes!

This place is an absolute gem. The inside is newly remodeled/redecorated and it is so cute. We especially loved the functional record player which also could pair with our phone to play music from spotify. I can't stress how perfect this location is. You are just a quick trip downstairs to the brewery with lots of delicious food and beverages. We stayed here for two nights with our 5mo baby- one of the nights we stayed was trivia night in the brewery and let me tell you our baby slept great upstairs we couldn't hear any sound coming from below. Just a few steps away from the columbia river and St. Helens downtown shops make it the perfect place. Christine is a wonderful host and was extremely accommodating and thoughtful- we loved the personal note she left to welcome us. Next time we stay in St. Helens we will defiantly stay here!

This was my second time staying on Jeremy’s magical property, and this time we brought the whole family! We rented both the main house and guest house for a weekend getaway, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. The main house is warm, inviting, and incredibly spacious—perfect for gathering everyone under one roof. The design is thoughtful and full of charm, with cozy corners, a well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds throughout. We cooked, laughed, and shared meals around the dining table, then relaxed by the fire or explored the beautiful surroundings. The private lake, forest trails, wildflowers, and peaceful energy of this place make it feel like your own private nature retreat. We saw all kinds of critters, made bonfires, and enjoyed being completely unplugged. It was everything we hoped for and more. Jeremy’s hospitality is unmatched, and this property continues to be a favorite. We can’t wait to return again.

We had a great stay at this beautifully architected home right on the river. Everything was clean and comfortable. Some of us even braved a dip in the river which was super worth it! Highly recommend this secluded and peaceful property for your next stay.

The cabin was just what we wanted. Beautifully surrounded by the forest with gorgeous views of the river and plenty to explore. We enjoyed the easy fireplace, walked in the river just steps away, and hiked the multiple water falls just down the road. Kitchen had everything we needed for specially planned meals and the place was comfy in each room.

This home is one of my top places I have stayed in on Airbnb. I walked into that home and out to the back door absolutely breathtaking views. This home is 3 adventures in one. 1st the deck BBQ, fire pit and Hot tub(wood is provided). 2nd the yard below the home, has a huge open grass area with a big fire pit, close to the river. 3rd the river great spot for chairs and family private. Very lucky it was hot outside, we got to go swimming 3 times. The house was super clean 5 stars. This home had all the things and more needed to cook in the kitchen mama was stocked up. Book this home and enjoy being unplugged from the world, I flet like I was at grown up camp. Thank you for the treats and birthday candle 🕯 💕

We were visiting family in the Portland area and this home in Vancouver was conveniently located to travel quickly back and forth. I appreciated having the driveway for parking and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We loved having morning coffee outside by the pond! The home was comfortable and worked well for our needs.

The host was very nice and made us feel at home. Home was nice, views were spectacular and the location wasn’t too far from PDX.

This was the perfect location for our stay during our son’s wedding weekend at Horning’s Hideout. We hosted a family brunch and the house was the perfect setting with everything we needed and more. Our guests loved the setting and felt right at home. We are grateful for our time at the house in North Plains and would not hesitate to visit again.

This place was the perfect location for me. I love the proximity of the Riverwalk river walk. I also thought the little patio outside was a great place to sit and relax. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Portland.

Michelle and Sarah were so accommodating with all of our requests, and were so kind to give us suggestions/recommendations since we aren’t totally familiar with the area yet. The place was so cozy, and a great location close to restaurants and shops! We will definitely be back, and will absolutely book with Michelle and Sarah again!

This apartment is in a great location with an great view of the River. we enjoyed sitting and watching the sailboats in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing food. Checkout was easy. We would definitely stay again.

Loren is a great host. I cannot recommend her enough. She is an amazing person, and the house was beautiful and spacious. She is kind and helpful. If you are visiting Portland or Oregon City, stay with Loren!
