Beachfront holiday rental in Porto Santo Stefano

Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura scelta un po' a caso tra tante e devo dire che mai scelta fu migliore. Roberta si è subito dimostrata disponibile,cordiale e con il suo fare ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio l'appuntamento è veramente carino, ampio,luminoso,nuovissimo e tenuto in maniera fantastica, il mare è veramente a pochi passi con un arenile immenso e tenuto molto bene, il paese offre l'indispensabile ma nei dintorni c'è molto da fare e da vedere. una mini vacanza che ci rimarrà nel cuore così anche Roberta 🥰 con la quale siamo certi ci sentiremo a breve per organizzare una vacanza più lunga. Quindi consiglio a tutti di provare la location per poter avere modo di conoscere il posto .... non ve ne pentirete ma soprattutto Roberta....

Appartamento corrispondente al 100% alla descrizione riportata. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi: l'appartamento e' decisamente spazioso, fresco e dotato di ogni comfort. L'arredamento e' molto moderno. La pulizia impeccabile. La posizione e' strategica: in meno di un minuto a piedi ci si ritrova nella via principale del centro di Castiglione con numerosi negozi e ristoranti (un consiglio: prenotare sempre per tempo perché si rischia di rimanere senza cena! Noi siamo stati a Castiglione nella settimana di ferragosto e senza prenotare si faceva fatica a trovare posto anche in tarda serata). In pochi minuti a piedi ci si ritrova sul lungomare dove ci sono numerosissimi stabilimenti balneari ma anche numerose spiagge libere. Davanti all'appartamento il supermercato e' comodissimo! Niccolò e Daniela si sono dimostrati sempre gentili e super disponibili: ringraziamo in particolar modo Daniela per tutte le dritte che ci ha dato!!!! Sconsigliato!

Laura’s apartment is very cozy and well equipped, you can feel it is a family home. I enjoyed a lot staying there for 2 weeks, it is spacious, and close enough to walk everywhere , yet more secluded in a quieter area, with peace and silence.

Dieses kleine "Steinhaus" ist ideal für 2 Personen. Bei der Lage - ok, kann man unterschiedlicher Meinung sein. Einerseits wunderbar gelegen, auf der anderen Seite "abgelegen". Richtig Privat, schöne Terrasse zum Verweilen. Leider ist der Zugang zum Meer beschwerlich, entweder sehr steil - nichts für ältere Leute, oder alles Privat, abgesperrt durch Tore. Die "Privatbucht" mit Strand, Bar und Restaurant ist sehr schön und auch sehr gutes Essen. Die Leute sind sehr nett. Aber auch nicht garade einfach zu erreichen. Wir waren 11 Tage da, haben jeden Tag kleinere Ausflüge mit gutem Essen verbunden. Einmal wollten wir zum Meer und sind dann fast 2 Stunden in den Bergen unterwegs gewesen, z.T. Naturstrasse, da alle Zugänge zum Meer hinab durch Tore verschlossen waren. Das ist etwas, was uns sehr geärgert hat. Einkaufen, Restaurants in Porto S.Stefano ca. 7 Km entfernt, kein Proplem. Sehr schönes Hafenstädtchen. Aber es war ein schöner Aufententhalt. Negativ; Total von Mücken zersto P.S.

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento per una settimana al mare e non potevo chiedere di meglio! L’alloggio era pulitissimo, accogliente e molto comodo, perfetto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in spiaggia. La posizione è eccellente, a soli 100 metri dal mare – davvero ideale per chi, come me, ama vivere il mare a pieno senza dover prendere l’auto. Siamo una famiglia di due adulti e due bambini piccoli, con noi c'era anche la nonna, lo spazio non manca ed è ben areato. Un grande grazie al proprietario Riccardo, che si è dimostrato gentile, disponibile. Consiglio vivamente questo appartamento a chi cerca una vacanza tranquilla, comoda e senza pensieri. Tornerò sicuramente!

Der Aufenhalt war wunderbar! Etwas ganz Besonderes mit umwerfender Aussicht aufs Meer! Die Lage im Rocca ist atemberaubend und im Dorf unten bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Auch gibt es wunderbare Strände (einer zu Fuss erreichbar, einer 10 Minuten mit dem Auto). Alles hat einwandfrei geklappt und wenn wir etwas brauchten, war Valerio immer erreichbar. Zudem ist Giovanni immer vor Ort und ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

On a passé un super séjour ! L’appartement est top : propre, bien équipé, très confortable. Et surtout, à deux pas de la plage, c’est parfait pour en profiter sans stress. Cristina était super dispo et réactive, ça fait plaisir. Franchement, rien à redire, on reviendrait sans hésiter ! Merci ☺️

Antonella was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. She manages the property for Lucio, who meets with you for check-in. Both were easy to communicate with but Lucio does not speak English.

La casa di Alessio è semplicemente un piccolo angolo di paradiso! Le due camere da letto sono in un fabbricato separato dalla zona giorno così la mattina, per me che mi alzo sempre presto, è stato fantastico godermi il caffè nella veranda e affacciato sullo scorcio di mare che si apre dal giardino senza la preoccupazione di svegliare i miei adorati amici. E' tutto molto curato e intimo, e sia Alessio che la splendida Monica sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili.

Ein wunderschönes kleines Häuschen mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Schlafzimmer, Küche und Bad sind klein, aber schön eingerichtet und man hat alles was man braucht. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und schönen Tischen. Von dort hat man einen wundervollen Blick auf das Meer. Die Umgebung besteht aus ein paar anderen Ferienhäusern und ist sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen Swimmingpool den man nutzen kann und am Ende einer langen Treppe einen Zugang zum Meer (kein Strand sondern felsig aber trotzdem super zum Baden). Rund um das Häuschen ist ein kleiner Garten und viele schöne Bäume. Giovannis Vater Eduardo hat uns empfangen, alles gezeigt und war sehr freundlich. Wenn wir einen Frage hatten, haben wir schnell eine Antwort bekommen. Zum Einkaufen fährt man ungefähr 10-15 min mit dem Auto im nächsten Ort. Zusammengefasst: ein sehr schöner ruhiger Ort mit perfektem Ausblick bei freundlichen Leuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

What an amazing location with a sensational view. We were looking for a restful location in picturesque surroundings where we could relax and unwind; this was definitely that place. After a day at the beach (7 min walk - downhill way there and quite a steap climb back if you decided not to drive) this had all the (immaculately landscaped) outdoor living spaces you need to relax into the evening and look out to sea as the day ends....views you could even enjoy from the brilliant outdoor shower! The accomodation was perfect for our group (3 adult couples) and on the warmer days it was nice to have the air conditioning. Both the owner and the host were helpful and responsive throughout. The only noteworthy things are that the drive into the location was along some tight and twisty cliff roads (I would not like to drive it in the dark) and the local beach is rocky so I would highly recommend swimming shoes. Overall we felt this was a magical place and had an amazing stay!

Prachtige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht op zee. Zeer grote, mooie tuin. Perfecte privacy. Achteraan het domein heeft de eigenaar evenwel een eigen verblijfplaats, met eigen ingang. Gelukkig was tijdens onze periode de eigenaar niet aanwezig, want dat zou dat perfecte privacy-gevoel wel wat hebben verminderd. Het is een oudere villa maar voorzien van alle comfort. Moderne goed uitgeruste badkamers. De keuken is ook zeer functioneel, maar niet gemoderniseerd. Dat wisten we vooraf, want duidelijk te zien op de foto’s. Silva is een perfecte host : proactief en zeer vriendelijk. Ook de extra poetsbeurten die we hadden gevraagd werden perfect geregeld door Silva en uitstekend uitgevoerd door Sabrina. Het enige nadeel van de locatie en de gehele omgeving is dat er veel muggen zijn.

appartamento davvero bello con accesso direttamente sulla spiaggia, non facile da spostarsi durante la sera se si vuole visitare qualche porto però ne vale la pena per lo splendido mare

Massimo's place was perfect for us - a week in paradise! It's a small, corner unit in a gated, residential community - a vertical world of stairs and ramps with homes, pool, garden, parking lot and sea access all on different levels. The unit's private outdoor space has large table, BBQ grill and shady seating area. The space inside the unit is quite small but fine for 2/3 people. Since it's a corner unit, there are only a few windows and no sea view - which was fine for us. Loved having a dark, cool refuge on a hot summer day! It's about 1500 steps to get from the unit down to the seaside. The way down is a mix of paved road (not too steep) and steps. The reward is the chance to swim in pristine, blue water with no crowds! Great for snorkeling! Two special features: the beach locker where you can store your beach gear and the outdoor shower in the yard. If you need to stay connected to the world, note that inside the unit it's basically a dead zone (no wifi or cellular network).

Ci andiamo da 4 anni. Ci troviamo sempre benissimo. La casa e' centralissima e ha tutto quello di cui si bisogno. Consigliatissimo

Alloggio pulitissimo, zona comoda per spostarsi. Parcheggio sotto casa gratuito. Alloggio ristrutturato, come nuovo. Importante è stata la cura del dettaglio. Consigliato.

An absolutely stunning part of the world. So so special to be right on the beach in a quiet rustic, out of the way spot in a lovely apartment! The space is just as described / as it looks and it backs right onto the beach so whether you’re inside or out you can enjoy the lapping waves. There’s also a restaurant on the beach which is glorious so you don’t have to cook the whole time. The closest shop is 20 minutes drive so bring what you need so you don’t have to leave again! Bear in mind if traveling with young kids that there are no blinds on the windows, there are mosquitoes at night and no microwave or kettle - but as long as you’re organised you will have an absolutely wondrous time here. Thanks to Michele who even swam back from his boat to bring us some insect repellent that we’d forgotten . We’d come back in a heartbeat to this very special place.

Excellent accueil, appartement superbe avec vue incroyable dont on ne lasse pas. Calme et pratique. Plage de sable immense à 15 mn à pied ou 5 mn en voiture. Localisation idéale pour des visites des environs (site archéologique, terme, etc…). Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location et l’accueil de l’hôte. Nous y reviendrons certainement. Michel

Die Unterkunft ist für einen Kurzurlaub in November absolut empfehlenswert. Wir wissen nicht wie's im Sommer ist, möglicherweis könnte der Strassenlärm etwas störend sein. Der Strand hat wetterbedingt ziemlich gelitten. leider haben wir Lucia nicht persönlich getroffen, was wir bedauern, aber war wohl selbstverschuldet, wir waren dauernd unterwegs. Wir würden jedenfalls das Appartement jederzeit wieder buchen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit Blick auf Strand, ein Stück Meer und das Stadtzentrum von Castiglione Della Pescaia. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Aufgrund des tollen Balkons mit Markise haben wir uns aber eh nicht all zu viel im Wohnzimmer aufgehalten. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Schnell im Zentrum, noch viel schneller am Strand.

Fantastische Lage. Toller Blick. Direkter Zugang zum Meer - steinig aber gut machbar. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit TOP. Fussweg zur Stadt. Giulias Eltern leben im Haus und sind sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen! (Im Nebenhaus finden umfangreiche Bauarbeiten statt, das läßt sich nicht vermeiden.)

We loved our stay here. The location is great because it is so close (walking distance, 3 minutes) to a nice public beach. It is just a 10 minute car ride to Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, both fantastic spots for dinner and shopping and walking around (and more swimming spots). Augusto was super friendly and welcoming and communication with our hosts was easy and prompt. I appreciated that they had good coffee and some snacks, and olive oil and salt for cooking. Thank you for a great vacation stay!
