We highly recommend staying here. The house is fantastic and the apartment in it allows you to feel the atmosphere of the town. We spent very pleasant moments in it. The terrace is definitely an asset of this place. Simona hosted us wonderfully, she was very nice and very helpful. The contact was always very smooth and pleasant, we felt very cared for. Alexander's lovely place is bright and cool. Spacious and functional spaces inside and convenient access to an outdoor space overlooking the sea beyond Via Panoramica. Perfect for a family vacation and as a base to explore the wonderful surroundings of the Argentario. We fell in love with Cala del Gesso and Cala Grande, just a few minutes away by car (and a nice walk, challenging but fascinating) from the accommodation. Alexander and Ariel were friendly and helpful. Recommended!

I loved everything about my two days here - Manciano is a great place to be based and Luisella’s place was great. It’s well equipped and feels quirky and characterful. Very close to the piazza (which has a great restaurant/wine bar) and the roof terrace was lovely at any time of day, with beautiful views, and often a welcome breeze! Wish I’d had longer here.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bandita! Debora is an amazing host who takes care of every detail. We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts – wine, pasta, homemade jams – a true taste of Tuscany. The house is beautifully equipped: spices, oils, kitchen tools, ice cubes, even toothbrushes and soaps in the bathroom. Extra towels, cozy blankets, and everything we could possibly need were provided. The location is peaceful and picturesque, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Tuscan countryside. Breakfasts on the terrace with the panoramic view were unforgettable. Communication with Debora was excellent – she was kind, responsive, and made us feel at home. We truly felt taken care of and appreciated every moment spent there. La Bandita is a magical place, full of warmth and charm. We’d love to return one day – it felt like a home away from home, and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable Tuscan getaway. We'd love to come back!

Paola and Andrew are two simple people, handy and very helpful. They welcomed me and my little Rocco (a little dog) making us feel at home. A place immersed in the Lazio Maremma countryside, where the only noises are those of animals and nature in general. Close to the sea and great as a starting point for many places to visit. Highly recommended for those looking for a few days of escape from the chaos of the city. Great hosts!!!

Accommodation as described with everything you needed for your stay, many books about the area and the history of the country and many other readings. The person who welcomed us was super helpful and very nice with the children. We really liked the country, characteristic. Positive experience. We will probably be back.

It’s a fantastic location and everything you could imagine from dreams of Tuscany. The house was perfect and the birdlife and pool fabulous.

The place is beautiful and we had a great time. It was difficult to leave. The snooker table, pizza oven and pool were big hits for us. The location feels remote, like you're a bit deep in the mountains, very peaceful, but you're really only about 10 minutes from Arcidosso and grocery store. We didn't realize how close we were to Mt Amiata, which offers great views and hiking trails, and also mountain biking activities! We rented bikes one day, it was fun! Ernesta was super nice and helpful, always answered quickly. It was a bit tricky to find our way initially, as the road you have to take is not marked all the way in Airbnb or Google Maps. When we were confused on the final turn, we asked the locals and they pointed us the right way, then we found Ernesta waiting for us.

Well-decorated accommodation with taste. Supermarket 50 m away. Small town center 200 m away, train station 400 m away. Warm welcome that changes us from code locks. A one-night stop on the road to the south for us. We recommend

We spent a long weekend in Alberese to enjoy a bit of Maremma and the sea. Marica and Davide's apartment is exactly as you can see from the photos: beautiful and cozy, with a private garden that was very convenient. Davide was available and flexible. The apartment is located in the center of Alberese, easy to reach. Marina di Alberese can be reached by bicycle or by a convenient shuttle. Recommended!

We loved our stay here! We traveled with our 2 children and they absolutely loe grounds and especially watching the farming being done. It is such a charming spot and close to plenty of towns with plenty to do!

We had a great stay. The place belongs to a beautiful farm, with animals, great view and nice hosts. We would always come back😊

Great holiday home with beautiful views over the Tuscan hills. No less than 3 spacious bedrooms with great beds. A nice covered terrace with the same beautiful view where you can have delicious breakfast or dinner. The private swimming pool is of course also fantastic, our children enjoyed this. Gabriele is a very friendly proactive host who sent all nice tips and useful info in advance and awakened our self upon arrival. Despite the slightly inclement weather during the week we were there, there is plenty to do and visit in the area, when the weather is nice you can also go to the coast. I would highly recommend this stay and hope to come back someday!

Great, spacious villa with a beautiful pool and sunset views. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time very much. Absolutely recommended!

The house is located near Saturnia and other places in the Maremma...a strategic place to visit these places in a quiet setting with a walled garden where we could leave our dog and relax to read a book in the fresh air Massimo and his wife are super accurate in welcoming the parking lot is in the garden of the house very comfortable

We stayed at Casa del Fico in April 2025. The house is very nice, clean and well cared for, located in the silence of the countryside behind Marina di Pescia Romana, with numerous beds available. In addition to the dining room on the ground floor, there is also one in the basement, both with long tables that allow lunches and dinners even for large guests (there were 9 of us). In the beautiful garden there is a pool and a gazebo with another large table that allows you to eat outdoors, better if under the stars, clearly visible given the poor light pollution of the area (especially for those who live in the city). There are numerous places to visit in the neighborhood: Saturnia, Tarquinia, the archaeological park of Vulci, Viterbo, Lake Bolsena, the Maremma, just to name a few, plus of course the sea. The owner is very nice and approachable. We can only recommend Casa del Fico to all those who intend to plan a vacation in these beautiful areas.

Family vacation (4 pers.) at the end of August 2024: Wonderful location, very quiet and private. Exceptional is the large property where you can find a nice, shaded place to rest and enjoy at any time of the day! The bay below the house is very popular, but you can easily go there in the morning and evening if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. The furnishings of the house are sometimes a little older but functionally fine. The communication with Isabella worked flawlessly, and she took care of minor issues right away. The journey is via a quite narrow, winding access road - no problem with careful driving, but of course it takes some time for you to arrive in the next place (shopping, eating out). The house is very well suited for a family with 3-4 children, for 2 families the division of beds/ rooms is rather unfavorable. Absolutely recommended to anyone who loves privacy and nature! Thanks Isabella! It was beautiful.

In a beautiful valley in the middle of countryside, peaceful relaxing vacation.

With 3 medium-sized dogs, we had a great time! The large garden helped us to visit the Argentario without worrying about leaving them alone at times (dogs cannot enter all the beaches). The villa is beautiful, well furnished and equipped with everything (washing machine, dishwasher, dishes, etc.). It was like entering our holiday home. We immediately felt perfectly comfortable. An experience to be repeated.
