Tent holiday accommodation in Portugal

Marten’s place was by far our favourite air bnb stay to date! The location was almost too good to be true. The tent is set in the middle of a nature reserve and you really feel like you are the only people for miles. It was beautiful, peaceful and very romantic. Watching the sun set over the dunes on an evening was perfect. Then just a short walk through dunes and you’re on a fantastic beach!! Marten left extra special touches that we really appreciated- a bottle of wine on arrival and some candles to light by the tent as the sun went down. There is a toilet, hot shower and kitchen located towards the main house which were great. We cooked here a couple of nights and found we had all the amenities - pots, pans, plates, burner etc. Marten was a fantastic host. The place was clean comfy and we even got extra blankets incase we got cold (we didn’t!). He was great at offering expert advice on which beaches were best for surfing etc. We will be back!

The place is really special , an infinite peace, for those who seek to connect with nature and have moments of leisure. The tent is amazing, super comfortable and Natascha is a wonderful host. We will definitely return 🥰🥰🥰

We had a beautiful tent with a beautiful view. The tents are far apart so lots of privacy. It is a very relaxed nice campsite. Recommended 😄

Very good stay! Very welcoming, it's a pleasure sleeping in João's garden! The environment is very relaxing and very good place to disconnect from major cities. We only got around by bus or on foot! We were left something to make a breakfast! Very nice experience! Thanks again!

Beautiful stay. Filled with lots of beautiful things. I felt so looked after and I had some asks which the hosts looked after no problem. They seem very authentically kind and caring. It was a perfect for me to stay. Beautiful night stays, lovely outdoor kitchen to cook in and enough space to be alone but also to interact with other lovely guests if you want to.

Great stay, really relaxing and loads for the kids to do. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week in the tent next to the treehouse. Beautiful green area, roads quiet. Beautiful spacious well decorated clean tent. Bed slept wonderfully. Good stove. What we especially loved was that we were so private and had our own garden. For the children a nice playground and swimming pool. Plenty to do in the area, beautiful coastline at 30 min drive.

Miguel's place is a sanctuary for artists and true travelers that aren't interested in what everybody is doing. It's a place where kind, like-minded people meet, play, and leave with fond memories. I stayed for around 2 weeks, and I mainly spent my time writing and chilling out. If I needed to go somewhere, I could easily get an Uber. Silvia and Miguel are both great hosts and will make sure you are well taken care of. I recommend having a dinner with them, which will most certainly consist of extremely fresh seafood, most likely fished by Miguel that morning. They have 3 young beautiful children, who are super cool, and lots of canine and feline critters around if you are an animal person. You have use of a small kitchen, and a fridge which is adequate for making simple meals. Usually good music is vibing through the joint. They made me feel right at home, and I'm very lucky to have found such a wonderful host and family!

Arrival is easier thanks to the instructions they give you. They are super attentive to anything you need and answer any of your questions. The area is very quiet and from the tent you can hear the waterfall, although the water is not very deep, it is great to cool off. We only stayed one night, but it seemed like paradise.

We were warmly welcomed by Povilas🥰. And we were lucky enough to be upgraded and hosted in a dome . We are delighted with our stay in the dome and the discovery of this place! The place is absolutely magical, there is a very good energy! 💚🥰 If you love nature, simplicity, human 😉 I recommend 200% this place to live! 🤩🥰💚

We loved our stay here! Such a peaceful location outside of Silves. The tent was clean and spacious - it wasn't too hot in there in the evenings either. Rene and Mariska were lovely hosts, very quick to respond to messages and helpful when we had any questions during our stay. We loved the pets on the site as well. Thank you for making our time in Portugal so enjoyable 😊

Thank you Stephan for this experience! Had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful land and will definitely come back. The tent felt very comfortable to sleep in and had enough space for everything. The Nature is absolutely stunning, while the opportunities on the property are giving a good variety. From taking a swim in the lake and afterwards laying in the sun (huge platform next to the lake), to a calming walk through the valley (where oranges are growing). Places for sports and music. The garden is blooming with life, flowers and vegetables and the people that are living there are very friendly. Joschua and Alicia invited to a tasty meal and showed recommended places to explore. There are ruins and a windmill quite close (15min walk) to see an amazing sunset. If you’re still considering your booking, you should just go for it - you will not regret it. Felt very welcome from the beginning and leave with a calm feeling. Until next time!! :) (Keep in mind: I’ts in nature).

What a beautiful setting in the heart of nature! We were welcomed by Marianne & Mario, and a friendly dog, Roxy. Our tented camp had everything we needed, was super clean, and the small pool was perfect to cool off in. Marianne was also very helpful in arranging a taxi to collect us and drop us off at our next destination. If you’re looking for a piece of heaven in nature, look no further, thank you Marianne & Mario!

A perfect place for family, rest , relax and enjoy !

Our stay was amazing, we were very welcome. We stayed with the tent that has the private kitchen and bathroom but separate from the rooms. For a short-term stay is enjoyable. We are surrounded by vegetation and in harmony with nature. It has several activities for children and adults, from bicycles, socks, snooker, table tennis, darts, board games, TV, trampoline, tree house, swings built in the trees and a mini golf course. It has two swimming pools, a child that is covered and one of adults with sun loungers and sun hats. It also has jacuzzi and sauna to make the most of it. The village has friendly goats who love to be fed and guinea pigs. We can buy some local produce, and every day, if we want, they order fresh bread for breakfast. Maurice and Sandra are very welcoming and available, we receive tips for places to visit and all the necessary guidelines for a perfect stay. ☺️

Well worth a visit, such a lovely place, lovely dogs and a lovely breakfast! The accommodation was just what we needed bringing a little bit of luxury to the basics. Definitely recommend. Although if you are a light sleeper i would bring ear plugs as the animal soundscape can be quite loud - but we quite enjoyed this :)

We booked a plot to set up our own tent, it was big and spacious. We liked the intimacy very much and not having people very close. The area is very good, close to supermarkets and beaches. All facilities were clean and comfortable. Sara was very kind and attentive. It took a little longer than expected to disassemble the store and had no problem with lengthening the checkout for a few hours. If I had to improve something, maybe it would be the lighting at night, some more spotlights would have been very helpful. In general the stay was amazing, we will repeat!

Beautiful, quiet, well cared for place. The structure is comfortable and ideal for enjoying nature with convenience. Attentive hosts and everything very organized. Unique experience — I recommend it!

We love the place, very cozy, clean and unique. It was close to the beaches we visited in these 2 days, if we could give some suggestions for improvement, they would be: Lighting for the outdoor bath, which by the way was wonderful, Signposted and less steep entrance, depending on the car, it may experience difficulties and Confused handle, it was in front of the key making it difficult to open or close the door. Otherwise, we love the place very much and we already have expectations for the return.

A peaceful escape into nature, this site offers serene surroundings with the sounds of birds and rustling leaves. Perfect for unwinding, it blends rustic charm with just the right touch of comfort. We will be back!
