Beachfront holiday rental in Posillipo, Naples

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille. La communication avec notre hote a toujours été bonne, cordiale et très réactive en cas de problème ou question. L'appartement est bien situé en bord du littoral avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et la baie de Naples (du coté balcon et chambre des enfants) et sur le Vésuve (du coté salle à vivre). L'appartement est grand, lumineux, bien entretenu et assez bien équipé. La plage à proximité est agréable. Il y a des commerces à proximité. Le seul point génant a été la difficulté à trouver un stationnement pour notre notre voiture les soirs de fin de semaine (vendredi au dimanche). Si vous venez en voiture, il est surement judicieux d'utiliser le stationnement proposé par l'hote.

Eine einfache, aber sehr gut ausgestattete und sehr saubere Unterkunft. In der Küche war deutlich mehr als die übliche Grundausstattung verfügbar: verschiedene Gewürze, Öl, Essig, mehrere Flaschen Wasser genauso wie Kaffee und sogar Nudeln und Sauce. Im Bad gab es auch sehr gute Pflegeprodukte. Sonnenschirme und Strandtücher standen auch bereit, was sehr praktisch ist, weil man sie dann nicht von zu Hause mitschleppen muss. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Marco und seine Familie, die die unteren Etagen im Haus bewohnen, waren sehr freundlich und bei Fragen oder Problemen jederzeit erreichbar - sowohl über die App als auch persönlich. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr zentral. Da die Insel so klein ist, kann man von dort aus alle Ecken zu Fuß erreichen. Man darf natürlich keine Angst vor dem dichten Verkehr in den engen Gassen haben - auf jeden Fall ein Erlebnis ;-) Ein besonders Highlight der Unterkunft ist die Aussicht über die Insel bis nach Ischia und auf großartige Sonnenuntergänge.

Great Location. Loved the view over the harbor. Beds comfortable. Nice size bathrooms. Large kitchen. Stocked with sodas, beer, prosecco, and water we always appreciate when the owners provide these things. Michele was easy to work with. Be sure you get him to set up the porters coming and going if you have a lot of luggage you will need them.

Our stay at Marco's place was lovely, the view from the balcony/patio was stunning! The accomodation was spotlessly clean, and we had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the wifi worked great. Marco was very responsive to any questions we had, and sent us clear information before getting there on arrival/check in, as well as suggestions for restaurants/beaches/transport around the local area. The only thing to be aware of is that there are a number of stairs from street level to the house, so if stairs are not your friend, you might want to look elsewhere. Also, although parking is at the house, which worked fine, the driveway is more of an uphill squeeze, so if you are hiring a car, go on the smaller size to make getting up and down easier. That being said, there is a bus stop litterally outside the front of the house and the buses are cheap and regular, so you won't need to use your car everyday. - We did trips to Naples and Capri via the bus! Fabrizio and the co-host Maria were both very responsive and helpful. Maria made it very easy to get to the Airbnb. The Airbnb was clean, looked just like the pictures and the large balcony was stunning. Fabrizio also helped organize private transportation for us from Positano to Naples. We had a great experience.

Wonderful stay with Leonardo! It was perfect, short walk from the dock to the flat with my backpack on. Great restaurants downstairs, perfect for exploring Procida.

the most amazing view of the beach, and the free beach downstairs was amazing. close enough to Sorrento for day trips, could easily have done our 4 week trip in this B&B!!

Als Gruppe von zehn Leuten konnten wir hier gemeinsam Kochen, auf dem Balkon oder um den großen Küchentisch zusammensitzen und unsere Ausflüge nach Pompeji und zum Vesuv starten. Guiseppe war dabei immer schnell, sehr herzlich und hilfreich zur Stelle, egal, was wir gebraucht haben. Tolle Wohnung!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Vito. C'était un endroit idéal pour se reposer après une journée remplie de randonnées et d'activités aux villages sur la côte, face à une vue magnifique de la mer et depuis notre terrasse où on avait aussi accès à un jacuzzi. Vito a été très réactif, et a pris le temps de nous expliquer les activités à faire à côté, et nous a donné de belles recommandations de restos dans le coin. L'appartement était très bien équipé et propre. Nous avons aussi apprécié le calme - comme le logement n'est pas au centre-ville, il faut compter 20-30 mins à pied pour descendre au port, et vous pourrez profiter de la belle vue et de nombreuses boutiques et restos sur le chemin. Je recommande aussi vivement le petit-déjeuner, vous ne serez pas déçu!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Hands down the best AirBB I’ve rented. Three times now actually. That’s how much I love it! It’s a beautiful two level place with a kitchen just the right size for small meals at home. The bedrooms have an open design and are bright and cheerful. There are two closets and a small dresser. Plenty of space to put clothes away and keep the rooms tidy. The balcony is my favorite part of this rental. It’s the perfect for looking at the ocean or the charming town. Just a short walk from the castle, you will find many places to eat, shops to visit and views that will hold you there for a while…and may just make you late for your dinner reservation. That’s ok, though. Everything is a little slower in Italy. Savor the views. The only thing better than the magic of this beautiful place is the hospitality and kindness of Mary. You won’t find a host better than her. I’m already planning my next trip and can’t wait to be back!

This place was wonderful. Off a quiet street just outside of the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Was more than enough room for our family of 7. Private parking for our car was convenient for our excursions in the area. Raffaele was an excellent host, always responsive and even set us up with an affordable and AMAZING Amalfi Coast driving tour. We all agreed we will stay here again on our next visit to Sorrento! 5 stars!

My fiancé and I had the best time staying here in Positano. While there are a lot of stairs, the view in itself is well worth it. We made sure to try and go only up the stairs once per day, which helped. It is super close to the main point of town, and there is even a little sandwich/food spot that has wine, fresh mozzarella, fruit, etc. that we bought to bring up to the room to make our own dinners. Francesca was also super responsive and helpful when it came to arriving in Positano a little early and our early checkout time. She gave local recommendations and her dad was also super sweet! Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the private beach but from what we saw it looked super nice. The deck was awesome, too, and we sat out on the swinging chair multiple nights in a row. If you’re thinking about booking this place, do it! We will definitely be back should we find ourselves in Positano again!

Stayed here for a family vacation. It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Extremely clean and well-kept. The location was perfect for getting to Sorrento for activities. It was about a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-minute walk if you’re up for it. There’s also a bunch of amazing restaurants and a beach club less than a 5-minute walk away. The host is very responsive and any minor issues that arose were resolved quickly. We had a nine month old baby with us and found the apartment to be extremely accessible with a stroller. She also loved the plunge pool! Highly recommend a stay here with a larger group!

Mary’s apartment is located in a beautiful castle initially built around 13th century. It has a huge terrace with a view of the sea, Naples and the famous Vesuvius. We visited off season in May, so we had to drive to the beach about 5 min, but during the summer time the castle has an elevator to the beach. The pictures don’t do justice. Mary is a great host, very attentive, always prepared with good advice. All stars ⭐️ !!!

Wow! Just, Wow! Carmela and her home exceeded all expectations! She welcomed us personally, was friendly and kind, arranged local accommodations and transportation and responded instantly. She truly went above and beyond and made everything feel like a luxurious indulgence! I would absolutely stay at this home again and I’m so grateful to know Carmela, a rare gem!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Alessio’s place in the Mergellina district of Naples. It was a last-minute reservation, but Alessio was very quick to respond and made the experience fun and enjoyable. Alessio’s place was clean and comfortable, and located in a safe and picturesque area near the waterfront. Alessio himself was friendly and personable, and offered lots of helpful suggestions for restaurants and insights into life in Naples. It’s an amazing city! If you have the chance to go, we highly recommend that you book with Alessio. It’s well worth it.

This is a beautiful place in a quiet part of Naples. The furnishing are comfortable. The place is clean and the hosts were very accommodating. We would stay here again.

We had the most amazing time on our honeymoon staying here! Carlo met us promptly upon arrival, walked us to the house and gave us tips for getting around Positano. The terrace was amazing and offered spectacular views. This side of Positano was less crowded and we were happy to not be in the craziness of the main beach and port. It was a quick walk to literally everything. We hope to come back, and highly recommend!

I can only agree with the previous, positive reviews. The apartment is super nice and well located, with two metro stations and bus stops nearby. The best part is that you can walk to Mappatella Beach in just a few minutes. I felt very comfortable in this accommodation because you could clearly feel that Vincenzo puts a lot of effort into it. The apartment isn't a bare hotel room, but is beautifully and practically furnished. Vincenzo is an excellent host, and I highly recommend being his guest. This also applies to his excellent restaurant Cap'alice, where I had the best meal of my stay. Grazie mille per la tua ospitalità, Vincenzo! A tip for women traveling alone: ​​I especially recommend this accommodation. The area is much safer than accommodations in the city center (I had that too, which is why I made the comparison). And it's very nice to know that you have a host who cares about your safety and your comfort.
