Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Putnam County

We had such a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The house was beautiful, super clean, and the view was just perfect honestly even better than the photos. What really made our stay stand out though was the host, Sunny. He was amazing so helpful, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. As a Muslim family, we really appreciated how respectful and considerate he was. He made sure we had our privacy and went out of his way to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible for us. It honestly felt like staying at a friend’s place. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay.

I am very excited because of I found this wonderful , cozy and comfortable house! The view from here was amazing 😻 this home is very close from NY city, you need about one hour to get there. 15 minutes away from shopping center. Angie is the great host! Thank you! Anna place was very clean !!

Spotlessly clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. Walkable to everything in town and a couple blocks from a free bus that takes you to the trailhead or the train station / ferry dock. Layout is funky with the bathroom on the first floor and the bedrooms upstairs, but no big deal. The host gave great instructions on how to operate the quirky front door lock and left helpful signs around the house. Air conditioning from the 2 minisplits (one upstairs and one downstairs) was super effective (the window unit ACs shown in the photos are no longer in place). The house is right up against a street that cars speed down, but with the bedrooms in the rear it's barely noticeable. Huge yard and sitting area that I didn't make enough use of. Be aware there is a short list of chores at check-out (typical stuff like stripping beds, taking out garbage and starting the dishwasher). Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Our stay was exceptional. We were visiting for graduation at West Point and I loved being so near West Point during the action of graduation week. I don’t think you could dream up a better grad week location. The house was well equipped for hosting celebratory lunches/dinners. It also provided easy access to “walking” breaks from family and to laundry etc. I loved the location! Bin was a caring host. It was obvious that he had/has a common sense hosting style. Plenty of parking available. Beds were very comfortable. Baths were lovely. We enjoyed the porch in between the unseasonably cold rain storms. I loved this house! Thank you, Bin!!

Rosemary and Ed were warm hosts. They had great advice on where to join hiking trails surrounding their property. The space is welcoming, clean and as described. Rosemary kindly offered us some fresh veg from their garden! Would 100% recommend.

We keep coming back to stay here because the house is so cool and has everything you could need! A great getaway outside of nyc anytime and we always recommend to others.

We had a great stay at Tiffany’s place! Everything was exactly as described and she was great at communicating throughout the stay.

Overall Great experience close to Main Street, and easy walk from the train. Erin was flexible about check-in times, and was very responsive.

My husband and I had a great stay at Andrea’s place. It’s well located, quiet, and well decorated. Andrea was very communicative, kind, and thoughtful. Her check-in instructions were also very clear and she made herself available for us to ask for any recommendations, if we desired. Highly recommend!

Miryan’s place is the perfect location for exploring Beacon and the surrounding Hudson River Valley. From the front door, you can walk to all that Beacon has to offer including restaurants and shops, but also hiking trails. The apartment is very peaceful and quiet, but just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Main Street. The apartment itself surpassed our expectations —- especially the kitchen, which is stocked with everything you might need to cook a meal as well as a nice big table to gather round. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent a weekend at Lorelei’s Airbnb. Lorelei greeted us upon arrival to show us in. We had a guest on the wall leading to the door, a snake was there to see us in as well. Lorelei’s apartment is quite spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and you can easily create delicious dishes. Our schedule was such that we ate out the entire weekend, so no cooking for us. We were very busy on Saturday enjoying The Hudson Valley which we finished the day with a recommendation from Lorelei, Moo Moo Ice Cream. Super delicious! If I ever visit the Hudson Valley again this is where I’ll be looking to stay.

This is our second time staying in the Hummingbird Suites within the last few weeks, that's how much we enjoyed it! We have stayed in both suites and it's hard to say which we liked more as they're both great. This one gives you a separate bedroom which is nice (and Jeff was generous enough to put a TV in there as well) and a beautiful open kitchen. Jeff has thought out everything so that it's always easy to find something (great labeling) and has accounted for everything that you might need during your stay. The location is also perfect! 10 minutes to Cold Spring, 15 to Peekskill, and it's easy to go across the river as well. Tons of hiking all around. It's a great place to stay to explore the area! We felt right at home with the cozy amenities and felt it was a great place to rest in-between our activities.

We had a great stay at Samara's apartment/cottage over Christmas. The location was perfect since we were visiting with family in Cold Spring, and it was wonderful to have a quiet and beautiful spot as home base. We're grateful to have hosts with pet-friendly accommodations, being able to bring our 2 dogs makes travel possible, and this location was perfect for them. The space was clean, quiet and we felt very at home there. It's a thrill to walk into a location and smell nothing - as in, not musty, not smelling like strong cleaning products - just neutral, fresh air. The bed was so cozy and comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Samara was very responsive to a few questions I had before we made our reservation, and was easy to text with when we were staying there. We look forward to our next visit!

Very quaint little spot! Located in a very quiet, serene area. We absolutely loved the yard and the trails behind the house, my dog felt right at home! Renee was very responsive when needed but otherwise felt we had plenty of privacy despite being on the same property. Space was clean and charming and everything we needed for a quick wedding weekend! Would definitely recommend for a relaxing quiet weekend!

I really liked that we had a personal parking spot, and the location is awesome. We very much enjoyed the stay !!
