we had a fantastic time in Jenny's place. It is an extrem convenient location to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Inverness. Jenny goes above and beyond for her guests. Her hospitality is much appreciated.

We stayed for 3 nights, and the place was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the wifi, but we wouldn't really call it an issue; it was unstable due to the upgrade they made. Otherwise, they are great hosts and we definitely advise it.

We stayed in Adrian’s unit for a month. It is an ideal place to stay for easy access by road or rail to Edinburgh. We also easily took some trips further afield. Dunfermline is just up the road if you need a big town and don’t want to go in to Edinburgh. The apartment has everything we needed and was comfortable and cozy. Adrian is quick off the mark with any info or help needed. Inverkeithing itself is quaint and the people are very friendly. It is peaceful with a few cafes, restaurants and a co-op and post office. Thumbs up 👍 from us.

The apartment is large and spacious, very clean, has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped, the second bathroom is a little small but overall a very cozy house in an extremely quiet residential area and well served by transportation to quickly reach every part of the city. My rating is absolutely positive!

We had a comfortable clean stay, Andy was very attentive and helpful. We found the area is best reached by car.

We stayed the last four nights of our stay in Scotland at Lorne and Frank’s place and it was a great way to finish off our trip. Their home was absolutely gorgeous and they were great hosts. The one thing that my wife and I commented on over and over again was how comfy the bed was. We loved our stay in Stockbridge which is such a lovely and vibrant neighbourhood and this unit was such a great home base for all our adventurers. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and shopping nearby and city centre is very walkable from this location. There are also lots of bus stops you can walk to quickly to get you to just about anywhere you want to go.

You could not ask for a better view! The space was comfortable and thoughtfully designed. It was easy to get everywhere from here. Overpackers beware— the three story stairs are no joke, but absolutely worth the view!

Fantastic accommodation in a little seaside town. The apartment is a really good size for two people, it was really clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a long weekend. The location was nice and quiet and although on the high street, it was away from any of the usual centre of town noise, there were loads of car parking available and we managed to park right outside every time. The apartment is on the first floor and you can overlook the Main Street and car parks, so your car is always in sight but the surrounding area did feel safe. One of the positives of the area is the proximity to the train station which takes you directly into Edinburgh, the town has a few good eating options and I found some great little walks. Jo our host was fantastic in communication, had great local tips posted throughout the apartment and is really friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall no complaints and we would definitively stay again.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - both the beauty of the surroundings and the house itself with gorgeous views and unique design and decor. Cozy living room with great view. Basically two master bedrooms. Great kitchen and dining room. Nice deck if weather permits. Close to railway walking path. I even caught four brown trout from shore just across the lake. Highly recommend!

The Shiel House was an absolutely stunning and massive property. We visited as a large group of 8 on a golf trip, and this was the perfect Airbnb. It was beyond spacious, with all the amenities a large group would need for a week long stay. The location was great for us with popular golfing destinations like St Andrews and Gleneagles within driving distance, as well as a litany of local courses. We also were within driving distance of Edinburgh with plenty of fine dining options. Tim was a very gracious and helpful host who provided clear instructions on locating the property, as well as a fun treasure hunt that takes you around the property and to local spots. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the property and the host!!

I have no word that truly captures this place. It is centrally located for folks who want to explore the highlands, lowlands and anywhere in between. The home was SO cozy and Maggie welcomed us like family, sharing her local knowledge of the best places to visit, great scenic routes to get there, and absolutely THE best restaurants around. The home had comfy bedding, a cozy living room complete with wood burning stove for those chilly nights, and a oversized tub to soak away the day. Maggie even had milk and orange juice in the refrigerator waiting for our coffee and tea. The scenery is second to none, surrounded by picturesque hills and a view of the Loch. I could stay here forever.

The cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully presented. Living, dining and sleeping spaces were large, wonderfully furnished and comfortable. Appliances were spotless and of high quality. A welcome package of milk, fresh orange juice, eggs, bread, butter and bottled water was left. Georgina was the perfect host, responding quickly to questions or queries and checking in with us on the second day of our visit to make sure that we were settled. Georgina’s eye for interior design was evident. For people travelling with dogs it should be noted, (that as mentioned in the property listing), the outside space is limited to a paved courtyard, probably not secure for smaller dogs. The property manual does provide details of how to reach walks by foot. We didn’t try either of these despite the short distance we would have had to walk on the road to reach them. We travelled expecting to drive to wooded areas to walk our boys. I’m sure we’ll be back! Thank you 😊

Izzy is a responsive and helpful host, very willing to answer questions and provide suggestions. The place is clean and comfortable. The extra half bathroom downstairs is great! Good value for the area. Easy walk to the waterfront and groceries nearby. We enjoyed our stay at Izzy’s place and in Kirkcaldy.

We had a wonderfull stay in this almost like new house. Highly recommanded!

This, by far, is the best stay I have visited. Marie is the perfect host, communicated in an exceptional manner, and provided the loveliest place to centre our stay in Edinburgh. From check in to check out, I felt welcome, comfortable, and well situated. Buses were frequent to go anywhere we needed and the accommodation was a welcome resting place after a long day of exploring. I have stayed many places but Marie's provided both the necessities and little extras that made this a fondly remembered experience rather than just a place to lay my head. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit and will be recommending it to family and friends who wish to visit in the future.

This is such a beautiful property and the surroundings are so peaceful! The cottage was well furnished and provided a home away from home while we travelled and worked throughout the UK. Cass was a great host and very accommodating.

Thomas was a great host and his apartment is how it's described. Really good space, clean and very comfy with lovely views over the country side. Would highly recommend this place.

10/10 recommend. Great location right off the Royal Mile, walkable to all the tops spots of Edinburgh, in the heart of the city, and a beautifully decorated home with all the amenities.

Hidden gem. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful, being situated in the middle of the park (yet still in town). Lovely home, spacious. Host is super responsive to questions. Easy walk to a pub for some great food and drinks.

This place far exceeded our expectations!!! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed out. The comfort of the home is amazing and the decor is fun yet homie, yet the architecture was left to amaze and was well preserved. Felt like home right away. The location was great and was an easy walk to the Royal mile and everything else nearby. If returning to Edinburgh I’m booking here again.

The place is very easy to access via tram. It is clean and has all the amenities that you require.

This was a great little flat in a lovely area and felt very quiet and relaxing. Not to far from anything at all. I would happily stay there again and will be looking to see if it is available
