Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Rappahannock River

We had a great time at Greg’s and Nicole’s place! I highly recommend it. We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, as it is somewhat rare to find when staying at a rental.

This was our second time staying at Kimberly’s home, and it was just as magical as we remembered. The views of the water are absolutely stunning—whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or winding down in the evening, it’s hard to look away. The location is perfect: peaceful but just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We also really appreciated the Peloton and treadmill—such a bonus for staying active during our trip. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Dave's place is beautiful! Sunsets are breathtaking! The place is perfect for 2 or 3 couples. Great restaurants 5 minutes away. We loved The Fisherman's Inn, the food was fabulous, and a great value.

Our family had beautiful weather on our vacation! Everything was as described, Mary & Shelly thought of everything. We would highly recommend.

We had a great time at Nicholas and Dana's place! It was both fun and relaxing. We really enjoyed the little beach, the dock and the kayaks. We caught some catfish and one tiny crab in the crab trap (and threw everything back in). It was nice to have the firepit and hot tub to use too. And, the kids really liked being downstairs in their own space. The only issues were that the key pad wasn't working to get in to the front door which was frustrating after a long drive and the grill was very slow to heat up and probably needs to be replaced. Overall, this home was a really good choice for us and we would stay again when visiting family in the area.

Eric was an excellent host. There were a couple issues and Eric addressed them immediately. Beautiful home, love the neighborhood.. felt like we were at home. Everything you need to enjoy time with family and friends.

We needed a peaceful, relaxing weekend away and that’s exactly what we got by choosing this AirBnB. While neighbors were close, the trees made it feel like we were secluded. The home was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back room off the kitchen for just hanging out and chatting. Maria provided thorough details up front and was responsive during our stay. We are already planning our next trip.

Matt and Tina’s home surpassed expectations on all fronts. This is an absolutely beautiful home on a quiet, and peaceful property. The entire property is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, and is chocked full of amenities and led to an unbelievable weekend. The stand-out for me was the two-tier dock, it is very well done. Matt and Tina were incredibly responsive and generous with check-in times and catered to our large group well. Excellent hosts! This beautiful house is so eccentric and cool, we absolutely loved it. The outside patio and yard was gorgeously lit at night. The house was very clean and well stocked. We cooked family meals in the big kitchen and had all needed utensils, cookware & dishes. We really enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard and soaking in the hot tub every night. We went out on the water with the paddle boards and also enjoyed fishing off the dock. The beach area is super cute!! This property is very private, peaceful & quiet. Our family of 8 had multiple devices and gaming systems using the wifi with no issues of lagging or buffering. We all enjoyed the movie room, playing video games, singing karaoke and watching movies. Everything worked properly as it should. All of us took a turn in the massage chair!! We fell in love with the pups Shadow & Wickett. Playing ball/fetch with Shadow was the highlight of our stay. Our host Erik was friendly and quickly answered our questions. Will definitely be back!

Great place 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. Very spacious bedrooms and common areas. Clean and equipped with all the necessities. My only “gripe” is I was expecting one king and one queen bed but got one king and two doubles. It wasn’t a big enough deal for us to request to be moved. Just be aware if that is a deal breaker for you.

This was a beautiful house with all the amenities and more. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Definitely a gem of a place and I would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive. Surrounding area was peaceful and very easy to find.

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin on the lake was relaxing, comfortable and a great central place for allowing us to visit the historic Civil War battlefields in the area, Monticello and close enough to Washington D.C.to enjoy two days of sightseeing there. We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the cabin porch and watching the fishermen in their boats, the birds and especially the swan who came to visit us.

This home in Potomac is gorgeous inside and out. It looks just like the photos. My girlfriends and I needed a place for a short retreat with enough rooms and bathrooms for each of us with space for us to gather to play games and eat while also having room for us to have some alone time when wanted. This home fit the bill and was decorated in a soothing and relaxing way. The view of the backyard from the living room, sun room, and breakfast area was lovely. The owner, Ben, communicated all the essential information clearly and was extremely responsive to my questions. The only issue for us was that the 1/2 bathroom on the main level was locked so we would have had to use the one inside the bedroom on the 1st floor unless we wanted to go upstairs or use the bathroom in the basement. That would have been a bit inconvenient for the person staying in that bedroom so we got lots of exercise going up and down the stairs. Other than that, we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this home

Beautiful, peaceful home. The kitchen was big and had all the amenities listed. There was also a play room for the kids which kept them busy. Several ways to access the deck, and the view is beautiful. The backyard is so spacious and just a short walk to the river. Whenever we had issues the host was quick to respond. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Mark had a gorgeous property, perfectly appointed and pristine. He was a superb host, very responsive and so helpful. The forested lot provides a peaceful and private location just a short hike to the Shenandoah River. The surrounding natural beauty and wildlife were the highlight of our stay. Enjoyed our stay at the red cabin. Very quiet location. The fire ring was peaceful. The hottub was relaxing. The scenery was beautiful (especially liked the deer that were outside each morning - that how peaceful it is!). Would highly recommend if you want a quiet place to stay.

We had a really nice time at the cabin. Everything was laid out very nicely and was ready for us the moment we arrived. The space is beautiful and right on the lake. It was extremely peaceful to sit in the large screened deck and hang out with the stunning lake in view. Hope to stay here again some day!

This was our second stay at Wildflower Lodge and it was just as lovely and welcoming as it was during our first trip. We followed restaurant and winery recommendations and they were spot on. Hiking in Shenandoah is always beautiful, and coming back to the homey cabin where we could relax around the fire with our dogs secure in the fenced yard was heavenly. We needed to get in touch with our host at one point and they were extremely responsive and helpful. The home is lovely, comfortable, and the attentiveness of the host just made everything that much more relaxing and enjoyable. We definitely plan to return in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed rainy mornings drinking coffee and movie nights on the screened porch! There are lots of thoughtful touches and a well equipped kitchen. Thanks for having us!

Such a beautiful spot! Definitely a hideaway cabin! I do want to emphasize if you aren’t used to up the mountain/trail drive and you have a car - borrow the SUV! Thankfully we had an SUV but to help us get up the mountain we were in trail mode. The place was clean and quiet! Perfect getaway. Close to things to do! Highly recommend Triple Crown BBQ in Luray. Apple House for the donuts in Front Royal. Absolutely the bakery “Main Street Bakery” in Luray!
