Beachfront holiday rental in Rathdowney

Very clean and comfortable room with breakfast cereals and coffee etc supplied. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was beside it. John was great at communicating at all stages and his other guests were incredibly nice. No complaints at all.

Had a fabulous weekend in this stunning house. Girls weekend. Fantastic kitchen living space. Amazing views. Did Kilmacthomas to Dungarvan on the Greenway. Living proof you never forget to ride a bike!! Had 2 sea swims in Bunmahon and Tra na mBo. Cliff walks gorgeous. Got taxi toDungarvan for dinner in 360 Cookhouse Great time had by all. Considering a return trip with my family!

Great stay. Ian very friendly and responds quickly. He cooked the pizza for us as there was no oven available. Place is clean and enough sleeping space. No proper kitchen though.

My family and I had a wonderful time here. It was exactly what we wanted private and loads of room for the kids to run about. We spent the majority of our time by the lake, it was just so beautiful and peaceful. There was plenty of board games which we had great fun with every night. We had a lovely dinner in the local restaurant in Mountshannon and on our last night we were able to get takeaway delivered from scariff on Justeat. We also went to the playground in Mountshannon and went for a walk in the maze. Craig was a great host, he passed on loads of info about the area, where to eat etc. My only negative point is when we arrived there was a musky smell in the kitchen & sitting room area. All in all we loved our stay here and will definitely be back again.

What a house- what a location - everything was more than we could have hoped for! The house is absolutely perfect for a family gathering - so much space and views over the river! We cooked in every night and made the most of the space. We were also very lucky with the weather but I can imagine how cosy it is with the fire on during a storm! We had 2 kids with us so perfect to go across the road to a playground and right beside the beach too! I can't recommend this house enough - we had the best few days and will absolutely be returning. Nice apartment in a lovely spot just a few footsteps from the beach. Shops and restaurants are all in walking distance and the secure parking is very handy. Willi was always easy to get in contact with and made sure everything was going well during our stay. We would stay there again!

As soon as we arrived, we heard and smelled the sea...we were home! We could not have imagined a more comfortable home, and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. In the four weeks we were there, we barely left the immediate area--that's how much we loved it. That said, there is much to do and see within a 45-minute drive. Laurene and Mike are an outstanding hosts! They were always at the ready with suggestions and details on locations. The house is very well equipped, but the few things that we needed appeared as if by magic! I recommend this beautiful place 100%.

Modern, clean, well equipped kitchen, plenty of water for showers, beach within 50m, shops and hotel restaurants nearby. Super location. Super host. Thank you Lisa! We had a lovely stay.

Kathleen and Johns house was a great spot. Just 2/3 mins walk to Grange beach. The house was in lovely quiet grounds, and the back garden was spotless, safe, secure for kids and private. There was plenty of towels, pillows, blankets etc. The Vine wine bar and food was 5mins drive well worth going to on a nice day-kids loved the food and playground there. The village itself was closer with a very good Londis there. The Wheelhouse has nice little toys the kids bought. Everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Sheena's cottage was fantastic - great location by the water, quiet street, but walking distance to Fethard's village (Giorgio's was excellent, and there's a decent Londis too). Fantastic beaches, harbours, landmarks all within easy driving reach. House was well kitted out, especially the kitchen and beds were very comfy. We'll definitely be back - thank you Sheena!

lovely clean house. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets etc. The location was superb, right across from the beach. Check in and check out was easy and she gave loads of helpful local information and responded to messages quickly.
