Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. 'The Snug' is a fully licensed, private apartment attached to our Bungalow with its own entrance & is ideal for couples. There are stairs to access the property. We live in a lovely residential area. 2 min walk away there is a direct bus route into Edinburgh City Centre. The bus takes approx 25 min & stops include Haymarket and Princes Street. It takes 15 min to drive to the City Centre & Edinburgh Airport, & a 12 min drive to Murrayfield stadium. Locally there’s 2 pubs, 2 restaurant & a Co-op.

Bus stop beside the house with regular service; one bus, into Princes St in 25-35 mins. We have a small driveway for you to use. We are 2 mins from the by-pass and are 15 min from Airport by taxi. First time Edinburgh and can definitely say that I wouldn't chose anywhere else to stay when returning. The location was really good; lots of nearby superstore, airport was close by and easy to get to town. But the photos didn't do it justice ; it was amazing! Hotel standard. Fabulous stay. Private, comfortable, quiet, with everything you need. Easy walk to bus to Edinbourgh. The best part is the host. So attentive and helpful. Trudi goes out of her way to see to her guest's happiness and is truly interested in knowing you without being intrusive at all. She and her husband provided rides to and from the train, and special snacks and breakfast food to accommodate me. Very thoughtful and kind. Such a pleasure to stay with them.

I had a very nice stay at Andrea’s place. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. It’s a great location if you need to catch an early flight, with the Skyline 100 bus stop about a 20-minute walk away and easy access to both the town center and the airport. Just be sure to check the earlier schedule for connecting buses, especially on Sundays. The bed was very comfortable, and the stay overall was pleasant. Andrea is a wonderful host—friendly, informative, and very hospitable. Highly recommended!

Luca (and her adorable daughter) are wonderful hosts and offer guests a spacious, comfortable room, that even has a tea and coffee station within the room itself. Their house is located in a safe and quiet area of South Queensferry and is ideally located for getting into Edinburgh or to/from the airport. The train station is only 15mins walk away, (with connections to multiple locations across Scotland) and the bus stop is only about 5mins walk from the house. Luca offers guests basic use of the kitchen and full use of the newly decorated and beautiful bathroom which is right next door to the bedroom. She provides great communication and is very responsive. We'd therefore have no hesitations in highly recommending this AirBnB offering and we thank Luca and her daughter again for their great hospitality.

The location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh and returning to the peaceful countryside after a day in the city. We immediately felt at home in the absolutely lovely cottage.
