Live the “simple” life on the Baltic: in a solar-powered workman’s hut. The idyllic hamlet of Klützer Winkel is 20 km east of Lübeck, Germany, 6 km west of Boltenhagen, and only ten minutes’ walk from the unspoiled Baltic coastline. Our natural refuge (3500 sq.m./over 37,000 sq.ft.) is nestled among hilly meadows, woodlands, beaches, and some nearby seaside cliffs. Our owner-run plot of land has many fruit trees and other trees, blackberry bushes and shrubs. Pristine meadows directly around the property are crisscrossed by narrow pathways. You can set up your own place to sit, and there is a central terrace with barbecue. Facing the south, the vintage workman’s hut (20 square meter/215 square feet) was converted into a cocoon of living space with virtually no environmental footprint. Its separate bedroom, kitchen and roomy living area are supplemented by a 14 square meter (150 square foot) veranda facing west. All the flooring is larch. All electricity is solar generated with water supply from on board tanks or at the nearby “bathhouse” on the same plot with its solar-powered shower. A wood-burning stove can be used in colder weather. Details: 12VDC power supply, intermittent 220V/80W power with converter, DVB-T TV, radio and DVD player, refrigerator, two-plate gas cooker, and sink. Since 2016 we got a supplementary nonsolar power supply i.e. to have a shower without sun. Plus we offer: Bicycle and bed linen rental (please confirm in advance), drawing and painting kits, arts and crafts equipment, beach utensils. Plus the chance to pick and process cherries, blackberries, pears, and apples (all according to the season and availability, for a small fee) Klützer Winkel also offers many leisure, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

I am offering for rent a charming, light-filled apartment in the old village school house of Berkenthin. The apartment has a separate entrance, terrace, and direct access to a beautiful garden. The apartment is tastefully furnished, with a wood-burning stove, and outdoor barbecue. Berkenthin is located in the district of Lauenburg, a region of rolling hills, woods, fields, and many lakes. The house is situated in a quiet residential street in the old part of the village, opposite the old church and rectory. Just behind the church flows the Elbe-Lübeck Canal, where you can access the Old Salt Route cycle path. Lübeck, Ratzeburg, Mölln, Schwerin, and Hamburg, all beautiful and culturally interesting towns and cities, are between 15 and 60 minutes drive away, and the Baltic Sea is 30 to 60 minutes away. You can borrow bikes from "Gasthaus Meier", only 2 minutes walkingdistance. Price: 66 € for 2 people. Each additional person 8 €. Cleaning of apartment at end of stay 32 €. Use of washing machine and the dryer is 3 € each. If you want, you can buy wood for the oven (6 €).

Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. Conveniently located between Hamburg and Lübeck, you will stay in our well-equipped vacation home in the city center in the Heiligengeist district of Bad Oldesloe, absolutely quietly located directly on the Trave. The terrace invites you to sunbathe and barbecue. Parking in the public parking garage (200 m) is free. Bicycles are safe on the premises. Jogging and walking start right at the front door on the Trave hiking trail. Downtown is around the corner.

Dear holiday guests! My apartment is on the upper floor of a semi-detached house at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is very quiet and within walking distance you are at Ratzeburger See, Küchensee in the forest, in the city center or at the train station. The bright, friendly apartment can accommodate two adults (with a child if necessary) and has a living room, a double bedroom, a kitchen, a shower room and a separate toilet. Dogs are very welcome.

From the 6 m² balcony you have a beautiful view over the spa hotels of Travemünde and see as far as the Bay of Lübeck and the horizon of the Baltic Sea. Here you can relax and unwind wonderfully.

The apartment is about 100 m², has 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom. It is on level ground and has its own entrance. It has its own terrace and is located to the south side of the house. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, fridge. The bathroom has a large corner bath and a double sink. In the living room is a large flat screen. And many shelves with books to suit every taste.

The detached guest house is quietly located in a cul-de-sac - ideal for couples with pets or smaller families with children and dogs. With a modern kitchen, spacious living area, balcony and parking right outside the front door, it is the perfect retreat. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two freshly made beds in the same room - so the accommodation is not designed for groups or four adults. A third bed can be provided if needed.
