Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Refshaleøen, Copenhagen

This place is incredible and in an amazing location. Our favorite parts were the blackout curtains (necessary with two kids!), the walkability to everything, and the beautiful artwork in the property! Host made sure we knew where things were and made us feel very welcome.

We recently spent 4 nights in this apartment during our first ever stay in Copenhagen. My husband and I travelled with our 3 children (2yrs-8yrs old). The apartment is a great size with plenty of room to spread out! We loved the high ceilings, big windows and the airy and fresh feel to the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped allowing us to cook several times during our stay and there were some local shops nearby to stock up on groceries. Some of the bedrooms in the apartment face onto a fairly busy road which meant having to keep windows shut at night to reduce the noise - but once they were shut the apartment overall is very quiet. This did however mean that the smaller bedroom became quite warm overnight with no windows open. The apartment is in a great location within the city. I am a keen runner and there are some beautiful paths along the lakes literally opposite the apartment and our kids loved the park opposite which has 2 fab playgrounds. We would definitely return!

Had a lovely stay in Copenhagen at Storm’s apartment. Entire apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived. The balcony had a beautiful view of the city. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with amazing restaurants, cafes, bars, and nightlife (if that’s your thing). Very close to the metro, so it made getting around Copenhagen very easy. Overall, an extremely comfortable and great stay at Storm’s apartment. The only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer!!!

Last minute stay when our flights got cancelled. Provided a pack and play for our newborn and one of the few airbnbs with 2 bathrooms. Gorgeous big place with lots of natural light (but also blackout curtains). Fans in rooms allowed for good air flow.

Gitté's personal apartment is a beautiful, comfortable apartment, with a furnished balcony, very well-equipped and very pleasant to live in. Presentation photos are accurate. We found it well located, in a quiet and green residence a few minutes' walk from the metro and shops and there is a good little pizzeria (to take away) around the corner. We found everything we needed in this apartment with a perfectly equipped kitchen. Gitté is very friendly and made sure we didn't miss anything. We were 4 adults and highly recommend this Airbnb to those who come to stay in Copenhagen, it was great!!

I had a lovely stay at Kiras apartment. It was the perfect place for my month in Copenhagen. Kira was super helpful and always available if I had a question. Would definitely recommend and I hope that I can come back one day.

Great location and host was very responsive. Building was very clean and quiet. It was really nice to have somewhere to do laundry in the building. Very positive experience!

We stayed four days at Martin‘s place and absolutely enjoyed our time. The place was super clean, very cozy and equipped with all necessary amenities. :) It was really easy to communicate with Martin and he sent very helpful instructions beforehand explaining well how to reach his place and what to do in the surrounding neighborhood. Two supermarkets are really close by and public transport is easily reachable from his place. We felt right at home and enjoyed our time in Copenhagen. :) Would absolutely recommend Martin‘s place again.

Perfect location! In walking distance to so many restaurants, cafes and bars. Very close to public transport which made it easy to explore other areas. Would recommend staying here!

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at Leon's Airbnb. Everything was very comfortable, and the location was more than ideal - being close to a train station, grocery store, and the airport. I appreciated that Leon made sure to keep in touch and make sure everything was good with our experience. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends.

Jess's place was just as advertised. It was very clean and the area is quiet even though there is a big road next to the building. Jess was very helpful whenever we had any questions. He usually meets you in person when you come to check in. The apartment had everything you need to cook a meal. We would definitely recommend Jess's place . We would surely stay here again.

Modern apartment, clean and nicely furnished with large bathroom and very comfortable bed. Massi was very easy to communicate with and super helpful, attending promptly to our needs and requirements. We highly recommend Messi’s apartment.

A lovely apartment in the best part of Copenhagen. The apartment was spacious and well decorated, with a great kitchen and balcony space too. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked almost everywhere, and on occasion caught the metro which was also very convenient and close by. Hosts were very responsive and helpful also :) It is worth mentioning there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment, and no air conditioning (very typical of Danish homes though) so the apartment was quite hot to sleep in during the summer when we visited.

My partner and I stayed at Peter & Julie's Airbnb for the month, working remote from Denmark. It was the perfect space for us including a spacious living area and separate working space. The apartment was very clean and kitchen offered us many options for cooking. The location in Fredericksberg was very central - close to the Lakes and Indre By and very quiet residential area. There were a small handful of grocery stores within biking or short walking distance of us that we frequented. We also appreciated the separate bike parking area for residents that we used frequently. We appreciated Peter and Julie opening their home and felt it was an integral part of positive experience we had in Copenhagen, coming home to a 'hygge' cozy living area after a long day of exploring. They also shared recommendations with us throughout our stay. We hope to be back in Copenhagen in the future!

Loved our stay! Beautiful house with the use of bikes. Perfect place to stay with a great back garden for kids. Very accessible to the city and airport. The local outdoor swimming pool was great for young kids. Would highly recommend!

The house is amazing, the area is peaceful and very green. We didn’t need to go to Copenhagen so it was perfect for us. We had a little hiccup in communication but Louise responded quickly. We did expect the beds to be made when we got there as we paid extra for the sheets but we’re not sure if this is something that is normal in the area? Regardless the stay was very good.

We had a weekend in this beautiful house close to Kopenhagen. This AirBnB is nicely furnished and offers all that is needed, from barbecue to relaxation and activities. When returning to this area, we will pick this spot!

Stylish and well equipped residence on the ground floor of a house. Covered of street parking area. Large garden. Close to a clean water beach with good bathing facilities. Cycle lane up the coast takes you to a large forest park with many walking and cycling paths. 2km walk to Hellerup station with quick trains into Copenhagen. Also a bus from outside the house if you prefer waiting to walking.

We loved staying in this beautiful home. The home is set up perfectly for families. We enjoyed playing in the large backyard and eating outside on the lovely patio. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood while being close to Copenhagen by car or train.

We really enjoyed our stay in Gentofte. The house was beautifully appointed. Loved the Scandinavian style and decorations. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The backyard was the perfect place to spend quality time with the family.
