Experience authentic farm life in a charming, authentic "hallingstuga" (farmhouse). Here, you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and brew coffee over a wood-fired stove if you like. A refrigerator, a freezer, and a new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a working farm with cows, sheep, and free-range chickens. In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space for skiing and sledding. Popular nearby attractions include Nesfjellet Alpine Resort, golf, Nystølkroken Café, Langedrag Nature Park, and an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails. Everything is within a few kilometers by car.

The cabin can be enjoyed year-round, with many activities and excursions in the area: mountain hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, biking, rafting, golf, disc golf, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing (from the cabin!), tobogganing, etc. Langedrag Nature Park and Bjørneparken (Bear Park) are also worth a visit. Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.
