The flat is in Ponitz, close to Renaissanceschloss Ponitz. You'll find a flat of three rooms in a historic mill house. You may use for 2, 3 or 4 persons. In the living room is a two-bedded gallery and if needed, we add a bed for three. Downstairs is a bed for the fourth person. Bed for smaller and smallest kids is available. The kitchen is well-equipped but there is no baking oven (only stove) and no TV (but WiFi). You'll find bathroom with shower, hairdryer and towels. Parking lot is available.

5 min to the highway, only 20 km to Chemnitz, 60 km to Leipzig, 90 km to Dresden and yet in the middle of an oasis of nature, streams and ponds, meadows and forests, tranquility and the relaxing sound of the water. We had a wonderful stay at this place. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The house itself was clean and cozy, and the surroundings added to the tranquility of our stay. One small note: we were traveling with kids, and while they had a great time, their energy and noise might be a bit distracting for other guests as in the house there are other people living.

We are a small family from Berlin and spent a weekend at Kathi's in Altenburg. It was sensational! The apartment is exactly as described and we felt right at home. The apartment is chic and modern and everything you need is there. Due to the quiet but at the same time central location, it was the perfect combination of "switching off" and being centrally and quickly in the city. Communication with Kathi was always fast and friendly and we were able to clarify all questions quickly. Check-in and check-out were also very straightforward. Kathi even helped us with a parking space in the underground garage! Great! All in all, we were more than satisfied and felt very comfortable. If you want to visit Altenburg, you should definitely take a look at Kathi's apartment. We highly recommend the apartment and Kathi as a host and would love to come back.
