Cottage holiday rentals in Renfrew

We had a fantastic stay here at this little cottage on a beautiful river! We were visiting for my sister’s wedding and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax throughout the weekend. We even stayed during the crazy thunderstorm that did take out the power at the place, but Anna was quick to message us and check in and even brought a generator over! Would stay here again next time I’m visiting family 100%!

We went here for a family vacation and this peaceful abode by the lake is something we needed more than what we expected. It was relaxing, silent and within the nature. The hot tub is a magical added luxury. There are enough life jackets for you to try and go for some paddle boating by the lake. And for people who enjoys a good campfire at night like me, they had an amazing spot with loads of wood to light an amazing campfire. All in all we got what we expected and enjoyed every bit of it.

This was a great stay! Hosts were very responsive and the place is just beautiful. They welcomed my group with a bottle of champange and a nice message for my birthday! The hot tub is a great addition as well as the outdoor shower. It is very modern and a very well kept property. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and I would recommend this place for anyone thinking of booking 😊

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

What a beautiful property! Went for a girls trip and it was the perfect spot for us. Spacious for 4 people with an awesome deck and lawn to enjoy. It was so peaceful to sit out, watch the lake and read while you drank coffee in the morning. There were games we could play, a great fire pit to sit around and a hot tub for when ending the night. The space was very clean and organized, and had everything we could need. Would love to stay here again!

Sanja is an incredible host! Very friendly and responds super fast. The cabin was perfectly cozy and included great amenities. The hot tub was large and very nice for a chilly night. Definitely recommend!

What a great place for family time! The interior design is warm, inviting, and full of hygge — every nook feels thoughtfully curated for comfort and coziness. There are so many different spaces to enjoy, whether you're curled up with a book indoors or out exploring. Great spot, looked exactly as you see in the pictures, outside back porch was a nice little seating area. What I expected was fulfilled, would recommend and stay again.

The home was exactly what we were looking for and needed. Lots of space, clean and the host was accommodating. I would recommend this home.!

I spent a weekend at Talia's place with my dogs to get away while my husband was on a work trip. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, very spacious with wonderful outdoor and water access and amenities. Although it was just me and my dogs, I could picture having a blast with friends and family, as there were many games and activity options in and around the house. Will go back for sure!

I had an absolutely rejuvenating stay in this beautiful chalet. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, with several comfortable and intimate spaces where you can really unwind. The rooms are well spaced from each other, allowing everyone to enjoy moments of calm and intimacy. Laura is a caring host and always available when needed, while respecting our tranquility. And what can we say about the lake... a true haven of peace. The water is clear, the landscape superb. It's a perfect place to reconnect with yourself or simply enjoy the silence. I leave rested, happy, and already nostalgic. I recommend this little corner of paradise without hesitation.

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.

Where to start? Magdalena’s cottage was *chef’s kiss*! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. The outdoor space was gorgeous, the inside was clean, comfortable and cozy. The hosts were very receptive and quick to reply to messages. They left us a heartwarming gift basket and helped make us feel at home. I will 100% be coming back. Thank you again, Magdalena! Lovely cottage overlooking a beautiful serene lake. We really enjoyed our stay at Leah’s cozy cottage. The cottage is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and clean. Totally recommend it!

The only thing that I felt was missing, was steps to get up on the floating dock. It is harder for me to pull myself up onto it. Also getting out of the water was harder for me, but no one else! The water was clean and refreshing. It was absolutely lovely. Thank you!

The cottage was immaculately clean (and I'm fussy !). Well organized, tastefully decorated with a beautiful view of the lake.... The sound of the waves lapping up on the beach while sleeping is really lovely! Would love to go back.

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

Kristine is really nice host, she instructed us so well about the things. The white folder was nice touch as it has all the places listed around to visit and the places we can go for food or order take out. The place is really beautiful and clean, also suitable for toddlers to play around. She was really responsive and helpful with the questions we had. We will recommend this place to all.

We were very well received to Majid’s magnificent cottage. The cottage is modern, very cozy and the view to the lake can be appreciated from every part of the cottage. The intimacy provided by the beautiful trees all around the house made us feel extremely peaceful. We had direct access to the lake and two kayaks which made the experience even better with this awesome activity. We really recommend this cottage!
