You can go fishing, kayak, walk or cycle locally, with the village only 20min walking distance, with local shops and restaurant . Also a short drive to some great sandy beaches & scenic spots Its a perfect base for exploring Ardnamurchan Peninsula. We supply duvets & pillows for all beds, but please bring your own linen & towels.

Tarbet Lodge where relaxation comes naturally

Tarbet Lodge is set back from the road in very quiet and peaceful surroundings where you often see wildlife including deer, otter, eagles and many other species of birds and marine. There is a lot to offer on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and the Lodge is a great base from which you can explore the area. You can go walking, kayaking, wild swimming, cycling, fishing, or sightseeing. Ardnamurchan lighthouse is the most westerly point of the UK mainland and there are many secluded beaches to enjoy.

Beautiful, fully equipped Shepherds Hut.

Muin Shepherd Hut is complete with: 2kw Shower (2 minutes of hot water/5 minutes to re-heat) toilet, sink, Belfast sink, fridge, ceramic hob, Air Fryer, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, TV, Double bed with King size duvet, large decked area, enclosed private garden (dog friendly) and views over to the Isles of Mull and Coll and onwards out over the Atlantic Ocean. Throw in the odd sea eagle that visits us, red deer abound, pine martins, otters and the dolphins playing off the pier!!

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Cosy 1 Bedroom Self-Catering Flat by Loch Sunart

The North Studio is a modern, well equipped flat in the heart of Salen village, Ardnamurchan. (Not Mull) The Studio enjoys both scenic views of Loch Sunart and easy access to walks around the surrounding woods. The local shop is a 5 minute walk and the local pub just a stone's throw away. Those looking to travel further afield can easily find Kilchoan Lighthouse further along the coast, or the ruins of Castle Tioram near the neighbouring Acharacle village.

Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. The renovation was completed in March 2020 and provides stunning accommodation.

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.

The Wee Bothy at Larchwood Croft

The wee bothy is part of our family croft, overlooking the river Allt na Meinne. We are located near Strontian, 1.5 miles away, which offers nice local forestry walks, tranquil cycling, watersports on the loch and plentiful wildlife. Our wee bothy is the perfect place to relax and to discover the beautiful local area.
