Beachfront holiday rental in Resurrection Bay

I’ve loved staying in this place! The host was very informative about a road closure that occurred the morning of checkout. He provided plenty of time to make arrangements to check out before the road close. Already making plans to stay here again !

I would gladly return over and over. The views can't be beat. So much serenity and wildlife to see: seals, otters, eagles and Orcas! and we were only there a short time.

Tom’s place was perfect for my friends and I. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck and looking at the mountains. It was so beautiful and peaceful. It was just 10 minutes away from the main area. We loved it! Would definitely stay at Tom’s place again!

During our Alaskan road trip, my boyfriend and I made our first pit stop in Seward, where we stumbled upon the Rocket House a few miles done the road on Airbnb. We're always on the lookout for unique places to stay, and this one hit the mark perfectly. If you are looking for a unique stay, a place to unplug from the busy world, and with INCREDIBLE views, you will not be disappointed. Initially, we anticipated a wood stove to warm the house, but were saw there was a propane heater inside. Despite temperatures dipping to the low 30s in May, the heater ensured the entire space stayed comfortably warm throughout the night. It wasn't as "secluded" as we thought since it is situated within a campground alongside other accommodations like yurts and tiny homes. However, the ample space between each structure provided a sense of privacy, and having other guests nearby added a layer of security. I recommend bringing your camera because the views are amazing! 10/10 recommend!

This is a lovely spot. I brought my whole family who was visiting us down to stay in Seward and rented four cabins: yellow bus, red a frame, blue a frame and this rustic roots cardinal cabin. This spot was perfect for my brother who appreciates his alone time and own space. It allowed him to feel part of his surroundings without having to actually get outside and he adored all the special touches that came with; like binoculars etc. I cannot recommend this enough for a single individual or a couple on a romantic get away. It’s truly one of a kind!

This was just perfect! I could not have picked a better stay in Seward. Friendly hosts and the view is even better in person. Binoculars are recommended if you want to spot the wildlife. My favorite was the family of otters. The small kitchenette was just what we needed to cook for our group of 3. Thank you for a great experience!

Such a cool property overlooking the water and the mountains! We were able to see otters which was amazing! The sauna and fireplace were a lovely addition. Hope to be back in the future and stay longer!

It was a truly extraordinary time at Blush Cabin. The view is magical! I so appreciated the little touches of beauty, craftsmanship and care that fill that space - from the welcome gifts to the woodwork, very comfortable bed and lovely compact kitchen, just perfectly equipped for two! Highly recommend and look forward to coming again!

Beautiful spot just outside of the city

We had a fabulous experience at millers. Everything was clean on arrival and easy to keep that way. The view was perfect and we stayed nice and warm with our wood stove. Nice beach to walk on as well with a fantastic view.

The view from our patio was one of a kind. we could watch otters and seals from our patio while we had our coffee. The Airbnb was spotless and looked renovated and brand new. we had everything we needed and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

The yurt was on a beautiful beach and had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Beautiful spot to stay for the evening. The view from the cabin was amazing, and it was a quiet spot to relax even with a lot of other people around. Loved staying here. Bathrooms were clean and the site was great.

A perfect little place to stay that’s close to the ocean.

Loved the cabin at Millers landing. It snowed 24 inches while I was there but I really enjoyed using the wood stove. The beds were comfortable, pillows were great, and it was overall a great experience.

Incredible place that I highly recommend if you’re in the Seward area. Remote off grid cabins perched on the coastline with beautiful views. Plenty of activities with kayaking, rowboats, hikes, paddle boarding, snorkeling, campfire etc. It’s a pack in pack out ordeal, with basic amenities. In my opinion, you are paying for the location and access to have an untainted wild glamping experience deep in nature. Totally worth it.

We loved the cottage. It was exactly what we had in mind when we started looking for places to stay. The wildlife is awesome. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The road from Seward to Lowell point is unforgettable...😅 But once you drive it a couple times you know how to maneuver. Sue was very attentive and available if we needed anything. The view we looked out at, was ever changing. Alaskas weather is quite moody. Not bad, but it can change in a moments time. The birds, sea otters, seals and sea lions were around every day. It was so much fun to watch them all do their things as we ate at the supper table or when we had our fires. Also, The sauna was great to go into after a walk on a brisk night. Nice hot shower, perfect kitchen setup and the beds were so comfortable. The master suite door if left open at night, you can look out at the bay while in bed. Pretty neat.

We loved our stay! The space was spotless, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches like local art, complimentary chocolate, and complimentary hot sauce. The ocean views and garage-style door made it feel like the best of indoor-outdoor living. The sauna, soaking tub, and Euro-style shower felt like a mini spa retreat. Great host, smooth communication. We would absolutely stay again!

In one word this place was magical… The views were incredible. The house was immaculate. It had everything you can imagine. I enjoyed all the neat art work and the sound of the waves were so refreshing. This place will forever be on the top of my all time favorite places to stay…Worth every penny and then some.

Our stay here was a dream! The house and views are even better than the pictures! I want to travel back to Alaska again someday just to stay at this beautiful house! Thank you for such a great stay! :)

One of my favorite weekend getaways making lifetime memories. The cabin was perfect with a breath taking view. Within an hour of settling in we were greeted by humpback whales, sea otters and eagles. We had an incredible time hunting for starfish and sea glass at low tide on the beach. Had an epic sea kayak trip led by Levi to Thumb Cove. Fished for the first time off a kayak and caught lots of rockfish right off the beach! There are multiple cabins on the property. It was fun getting to know other couples and their pups who were staying near by. You certainly have your own space though! This place is something special! We will definitely be back and bring some of our family and friends when we return!

If you are on the fence, just book it now. It was way more money than we would normally spend on an Airbnb, but it was worth every penny. Staying here made my whole family feel like we were in a storybook. The views are unreal. The peace and quiet is not something we truly get to experience anymore living in a town. We kayaked and hiked everything. We picked blueberries and held a jellyfish (non-stingy) and caught salmon with our bare hands. We saw sea otters and even a bear! (Don’t worry. He was way more scared of us than we were of him) We saw so many eagles and waterfalls that I lost count. There were so many adventures packed into only 2 days. Book the kayak tour too! Our guide Cooper was a wealth of information. Our boat captain Emily was great and also full of information. I cannot express how much we loved it there. The whole experience was gift and the memories we made there will last a lifetime. I still can’t believe we got to stay someplace so magical and untouched.
