What a unique and wonderful place to experience the splendor of Kachemak Bay!

Tom’s place was perfect for my friends and I. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck and looking at the mountains. It was so beautiful and peaceful. It was just 10 minutes away from the main area. We loved it! Would definitely stay at Tom’s place again!

My stay here was magical. It was the right amount of rustic with all the comforts of home. The view of the lake and sunsets was tranquil. The place stayed warm even on the coldest night. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was respectful and responsive with lots of recommendations on local activities. We were able to use the community pool and gym, which was included and so great on the rainy days. If you have kids make sure to take them to the community pool! We were by some great fishing spots too. I would come back and stay here again and again.

11/10 recommend. This beautiful home is spotless. The beds are comfy and fitted with nice bedding. There are Bay views from nearly every room (including from the shower unless you are 5'2"). Every possible amenity is provided, even thoughtful touches like dog-paw-cleaning supplies. We all agree this was the best-appointed AirBnB we've ever rented. I'm also not sure I've ever been in one with so many real houseplants, a thoughtful touch that goes a long way. Despite it's compact size, it was perfect for two couples. Communication was fast and responsive. Of special note: I had to put down my old dog just before this trip. I contacted them to let them know there would only be one dog, just as a head's up. They refunded me her fee, which I had forgotten about and was unexpected. We'll be back.

We didn't stay at the apartment a whole lot. We were always on the go. But, we slept like babies when we got back. Comfy beds, quiet area. We rented the Ford Escape. I can't believe it's a 20 year old car! It ran great, was clean, and drove amazingly. Plus, it was hundreds of dollars less than the rental companies. Overall, great accommodations, nice people to deal with, and in a good location to go any direction you want.

Olesya was a joy to work with! She was very kind…met us at the property to welcome us and give us explicit information about the property. She was also very prompt with her responses to messages. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Shell Cottage. Kids made themselves right at home with games, house slippers, and beautiful backyard. The tow rope was a lot of fun, beach access by road is about a mile down. Darlene and Bruce have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable on arrival- from clear instructions, coffee, well stocked kitchen, and family friendly conveniences. We enjoyed sunrise and sunset views from the sunroom. We even had a mama moose and her calves in the yard one morning. We hope to come back again next year when we visit Grandma again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful from the living room and the location was an easy walk to a couple nice restaurants and down to the water. The layout of the home worked for our family of 4 adults. Miguel was very responsive and helpful when we had a question. We would stay again.

Beautiful home for our family with two babies. It was very comfy and free of clutter for the little ones. The host was very friendly. The house had everything you could need. One thing though is that if you need to use the hose, the host needs to turn it on manually.

Suzie's place was wonderful! Arrived in Seldovia for a couple days trip to bike around and explore. Her place was perfectly located within the historic boardwalk area with easy access to local roads and trails. The weather was pretty soggy for while we were there - we didn't mind! - but we very much appreciated Suzie offering us boardgames and an extra late check out to let us stay cozy while waiting for the ferry. We hope you have a great winter, Suzie, and thanks so much for hosting us <3

Chris and Marja are incredible hosts and Eagles Nest, absolutely magical! Surrounded by water, a short walk to picturesque Halibut Cove, and a kayak and hike to Gerwingk Glacier, its location and charm is second to none. Every detail was considered and we felt at home as soon as we arrived!

We loved the cottage. It was exactly what we had in mind when we started looking for places to stay. The wildlife is awesome. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The road from Seward to Lowell point is unforgettable...😅 But once you drive it a couple times you know how to maneuver. Sue was very attentive and available if we needed anything. The view we looked out at, was ever changing. Alaskas weather is quite moody. Not bad, but it can change in a moments time. The birds, sea otters, seals and sea lions were around every day. It was so much fun to watch them all do their things as we ate at the supper table or when we had our fires. Also, The sauna was great to go into after a walk on a brisk night. Nice hot shower, perfect kitchen setup and the beds were so comfortable. The master suite door if left open at night, you can look out at the bay while in bed. Pretty neat.

Fantastic property - hard to leave but we’ll be back. We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this is truly special. So much beauty and the property is gorgeous without being over the top. We feel like we really experienced Alaska in an authentic and non-touristy way. The Tidepool Cabin is fantastic. Beautiful views in every direction and so eclectic. Kristi, Julian, Tomas and Elliott were perfect hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate. The kayaking was spectacular and daily interaction with sea otters and eagles was incredible. Thank you Kristi for a most excellent adventure!!!!!!!

We loved our stay! The space was spotless, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches like local art, complimentary chocolate, and complimentary hot sauce. The ocean views and garage-style door made it feel like the best of indoor-outdoor living. The sauna, soaking tub, and Euro-style shower felt like a mini spa retreat. Great host, smooth communication. We would absolutely stay again!

The Orca House was spectacular and had the perfect kitchen and view to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends. The view from the house was incredible. The home was clean, easy to find, and very comfortable for a group of friends. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This is an incredibly unique place to stay. we visited for two nights and had dinner at the Saltry. we rented kayaks, explored the island and had a wonderful family vacation

We had a great time at the Asian Motif lodge. It comfortably fit our group of 9, and we were able to cook and use the well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and there was overall plenty of space. Access to laundry was helpful because we were on a longer ski trip. Our group was comfortable walking to Alyeska, albeit it was a little longer of a walk. The host was very helpful and communicative and gave useful advice! Thank you for our memorable stay!
