Our beautiful treehouse has been built with the utmost respect for the surrounding nature, overlooking a beautiful pond and with a large private outdoor space. Built with beautiful materials, the exterior was made with old pine boards from very old dismantled chalets in the Pyrenees. The roof is made of cedar shingles that give a very natural look by blending perfectly with this beautiful nature. Our lovely cabin sleeps two people You will spend the night in a large, very welcoming and ultra comfortable 160 cm bed. When you arrive the bed is already made, sheets, duvet, blankets and pillows are present. A dry toilet of course, a small sink provides you with drinking water at room temperature. Towels are at your disposal. In winter, you can enjoy a pleasant and gentle warmth thanks to the small wood-burning stove that crackles at the foot of the bed. Everything is on site, the small kindling wood, the logs, the firelighters, the matches... Electricity is supplied by solar panels installed on the property for lighting and charging mobile phones. In the small fridge, drinks are available at no extra cost. In the morning around 8 a.m., a delicious breakfast is served on the terrace. We come discreetly so as not to wake you, but don't take too long to take possession of it because the squirrels are there and they shouldn't leave with the pastries ;-) During the summer period you can enjoy the beautiful terrace overlooking the pond where ducks, herons, aquatic turtles and other water birds mingle and have your breakfast among this beautiful nature. If you want to enjoy the nocturnal animal life, it is recommended to leave the curtain open to admire many small animals coming to feed in the small feeder on the window 50 cm from you, the squirrels come from sunrise and the birds throughout the day. A list of some restaurants in the village is available if you want to eat in the evening as well as photos with the names of the small animals often encountered in the woods. In short, everything is done to make you have a great experience and a sweet night in the heart of nature.

Set on a wooden deck, at the bottom of our farm and in the heart of the alpaca park, come and recharge your batteries in a place as harmonious as it is aesthetic. At night, comfortably installed in your bed, admire the fascinating spectacle of the twinkling stars, and vibrate to the sounds of nature.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Vacations, trade fairs, business trips, small photo shoots (only on request), weekend getaways... Do you like the other, special things? Then we're on the same wavelength. The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

Venez vous ressourcer dans notre cabane perchée (non accessible aux personnes à mobilités réduites, échelle de meunier) avec vue sur nos chèvres miniatures, nos minis ânes, nos minis poneys, notre cochon, déconnection totale mais avec très bonne couverture réseau (au cas où) 😀. Vous pourrez profiter d’un véritable SPA sur la terrasse de la cabane. ⚠️ La cabane n’est pas adaptée aux enfants en bas âge. À 20 min de Strasbourg, 15 min de Haguenau, 10 min de l’Allemagne.

As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Sleeping in the greenhouse means being very close to the plants. A good bed awaits you and a warm stove lets you comfortably enjoy the time you spend with us. The house in the greenhouse is very well insulated and has a nice large wood-burning stove and a small electric stove. The walls are open with many windows. For privacy, it has thick curtains everywhere.
