Our spacious and fully equipped apartment "Anke-Rose" is located on the 2nd floor of our house in the middle of the old town of Ahrweiler. On 85 square meters you will find a quiet oasis in a central location, divided into a bedroom, bathroom and living room, guest toilet, as well as a large kitchen with dining area. Vacation room "Bat Cave" in the beautiful Gelbachtal

Our children have now flown the nest and we don't want to share the beautiful home with just the bats. We live in the romantic Gelbachtal between Westerwald and Taunus. Hikers and cyclists have now discovered the great location of the place. Our peaceful Gelbach flows into the Lahn very close by. Not far away are the towns of Nassau and Bad Ems (Bad Emser thermal baths only 20 minutes away). Our place is located on beautiful footpaths and bike paths.

In the stable - side by side with chicken and horse

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.

We offer an approximately 100 m² vacation apartment for up to 3 adults in a quiet rural setting. From this location you can reach Luxembourg in about 35 km or the oldest city in Germany Trier at the same distance. A special highlight is the Saar loop with the treetop trail. From here, numerous hiking opportunities and also bike excursions along the Saar or the Moselle are recommended. The homeowners live on the first floor of the house.
