Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Rhön Mountains

Loved our short stay with Alison. We were in Pritchenstadt for my brothers 50th. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Loved it!

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

Everything was perfect for us, a very well-kept, lovingly furnished house with a fantastic garden. The house and the garden invite you to linger. In the area you can do many great hikes. Annette always responds very quickly and kindly. Thank you for having us as your guests.

It was perfect for our group of friends! The accommodation alone with numerous possibilities (saunas, bathtub, pool table, garden, super-equipped kitchen, television, books,...) has made for such eventful days that we would have liked to stay much longer to explore the area more (e.g. the charming Allstadt and the beautiful rural possibilities for walking, etc.). The house was so large and cozy that everyone had their own space when they needed it, but we could also keep ourselves perfectly busy in the group. Was a great vacation!

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time at Brunhilde's and can highly recommend the stay! The RBB is lovingly furnished with a lot of heart - nothing is missing. It is a paradise, especially for children: lots of toys, books and a large garden to romp around in. The campfire with bread on a stick was a highlight! We adults were also able to relax and enjoy the quiet, natural surroundings. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, you can feel the love for detail and nature everywhere. Brunhilde is a great hostess – open, helpful and warm. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Dear Gabi, a good, quiet and pleasant place is your cottage. The area is a dream come true. You can do a lot but also just enjoy the location and the beautiful cottage. We had wonderful days ! We were very pleased with our stay. The house corresponds to the description. Charm and comfort surpass these. Everything fits together wonderfully. We lived with our three dogs as a couple in the house, friends rented the smaller apartment in the house. Everything was clean, cozy and well equipped. We were able to walk away from the house with the dogs, the area offers beautiful hiking opportunities. Since we arrived later than planned, the check-in via the key box was perfect. Nevertheless, Helene asked if we had arrived safely. You feel absolutely welcome! We will be happy to come back!

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was really everything you need – fully equipped, clean and furnished with attention to detail. The atmosphere was very cozy, so we immediately felt comfortable. Very nice communication with the hosts. It should be noted that the shared pool is an indoor pool. However, there is an outdoor swimming pool in Ronshausen. The Breitenbach bathing lake is not necessarily recommended. The wonderful tranquility is particularly noteworthy - perfect for relaxing and switching off from everyday life. We will be happy to come back!

karin was a lovely host. she and her husband were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and understanding as we navigated our journeys. they had wonderful recommendations, greeted us with complimentary food and drink, and did everything to make us feel at home in their home. ober-ramstadt was lovely and it was easy to travel to other must-see locations nearby. i would highly recommend this stay to any other travelers!

We had a fantastic family reunion over the weekend. Wonderfully quiet location, very clean and in every respect perfectly equipped apartment. There's really nothing missing. The hostess is very nice, helpful and accommodating. We have never been better accommodated! I'm sure we'll be back.

Schlitz is a stunning medieval town and this location is at its heart. Be prepared that our map technology cannot cope with medieval street layout though! I think this is an advantage but it may make it hard to find at first. Excellent to have easy parking and a tremendous host.

Very nice apartment, tastefully furnished, excellently equipped, very nice contact, good location for excursions in the Rhön (Ellenbogen, Wasserkuppe, schwarzes Moor, Point Alpha, ...) - highly recommended.

The owl's nest is a magical accommodation that lives up to its name. Everything was super clean, lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped – you can tell that a lot of heart was put into every detail here. The hostess was very warm, helpful and uncomplicated. The location is quiet and idyllic – ideal for relaxing and switching off. I felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back ❤️

A super lovely apartment. The highlight is the pool table. Very nice landlords, super accommodating with great communication!

We had a family reunion in this accommodation and were very surprised that we had so much space just for us and our loved ones. From the rooms, everyone could choose their own with washing facilities or not - several large communal bathrooms (each with shower and bathtub and toilet) were available to everyone. The Bausewein couple were very nice, friendly and always available. It was a very nice weekend and highly recommended for larger groups for festivals, celebrations or just meeting and chatting.. Thank you and we will come again.

The weekend at Michael's was absolutely wonderful! A really charming accommodation and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet! We really enjoyed the days. We felt welcome right away. The apartment is superbly equipped, the balcony invites you to relax, and despite the great heat outside, it was pleasantly inside.
