There is a short way to Kjerag and Lysebotn if you want a more spectacular trip. Tonstad center with grocery stores, pastry shop, gas station, restaurant ++ bar is 12 minutes drive south. 20 minutes drive north you will find Sinnes, here there are countless ski slopes and several ski runs if you prefer alpine skiing.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. Ligger på 650-700 meters høyde over havet. Perfekt for de som er mange og de få. Wifi, Hjemmekinoanlegg og høytalere, TV med PS4, TV Linær, TV, Smart, barneleker/spill kan benyttes. Dyner og puter for 12 personer. 13 sengeplasser, 1 ekstraseng, 2 reisesenger for småbarn.

Mulighet også å leie badestamp og tønnebadstue / sauna mot ekstra betaling. I sauna kan du vaske deg med varmt vann. Robåt til gratis lån. Plassen passer fint til dem som liker seg I naturen med enkel standard overnatting. I høst/ vintertid fra ca 15.9 - 1.5 er vogna sammen med eget privat ute-kjøkken. Hund tillatt

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Relax in quiet surroundings. This cabin has no running water og electricity. What the cabin does have, is great hiking opportunities and a lake you can swim and fish in close by. Let go of everyday stress and just relax. You will have to bring your own bed linen, towels and water. You can rent bed linens for 150 NOK. During spring, summer and fall there is a small creek near the cabin where you can get water. We will provide firewood for the fireplace.
