Nice property would stay again

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

A beautifully converted brick and slate cottage outhouse. Walk down to the end of a romantic, pebbled, garden path, among trees and flowers to an idyllic, completely private and silent, fairytale summer house, stylishly furnished. Outside an oak picnic table and chairs for dining with barbecue. On the night we arrived we could be found sitting on the grass, leaning on the nearest tree drinking tea at midnight, dappled light emanating from our cottage, well equipped for two people. Elton is a film set, begging to be strolled around at every opportunity. The Crown, 200 yards away, has great catering. Sue is welcoming, flexible, offering help without any intrusion.

We had a wonderful time at the Reading Room. The fully enclosed garden was brilliant for our dog! Her tail did not stop wagging! It was a bit like having your very own freedom field for use whenever you wanted. It was a very hot week so unfortunately we didn’t get as much use out of it as we would have hoped. The Reading Room had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. Cressida had thought ahead and put a fan in for us given the weather we were very grateful. The location of the property was nice with plenty of walks down the River Ouse and walking distance into Wiggenhall St Germans. Unfortunately we didn’t get to do many of the walks because of the heat but would love to come back sometime and try them out. Would highly recommend this property to people that like to holiday with their dogs. Cressida was a brilliant host and very quick to respond to messages.

A really lovely lodge in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It was so well equipped; had everything you could possibly need and more - the welcome basket and additional extras were very thoughtful and made such a difference. The owner was incredibly helpful with excellent communication and everything was exactly as described. We hope to return next time we visit family in the area and would highly recommend.

Our weekend was absolutely amazing, the caravan is very comfortable, clean & in a lovely location, would definitely highly recommend

Lovely stay, second time here!

Been stay there for a month and felt amazing. Location is really great in town center right opposite the shopping mall. 5 mins drive to Train Station Many Supermarkets and Convenience Stores nearby Amazing flats, environment is good neighbour is super nice. Everything is perfect The Apartment is great and clean, much better than I expected. The host was super nice!! Any problem with the flat the host will help you asap. Would recommend this stay 👍🏼

Joanna was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Quick responses and very clear instructions on arrival. The apartment was absolutely beautiful with amazing views across Rutland Water. Gary kindly let me into the flat personally even though my journey was delayed. There was a minor issue with the boiler but it was fixed. The flat is in a good location for several shops and restaurants, and very bright and airy. Enjoyed my stay!

This apartment is the best rental we have ever stayed in It’s beautiful the photos dont do it justice, spotlessly clean throughout. Easy instructions to find property and get inside. Beds were so comfortable, linens and towels gorgeous. The bathroom is stunning. If you are considering this property know you will love it , if we are back in the area THIS is where we will be staying. Thank you Heidi

We absolutely loved this apartment and the view from the balcony was as stunning as the pictures. The host was very responsive and was able on this occasion to meet our request to enter the apartment earlier which we were extremely grateful for. Would highly recommend to anybody visiting the area.

Tami's place was exactly as described and a gem. Everything was there that you needed as well as extras of the pool table, games, books and music. Bed was really comfortable, great location along the river. Tami kept in communication and respo ded quickly. would definitely recommend and go back again.

Beautiful cottage style house very homely with lots of personal expression in the decor and personal effects (instruments and furnishings) Very spacious both inside and outside. Close enough to Milton Keynes for our event and close to surrounding towns but very quiet residential area with quaint little strip of shops and a post office. Was ideal stay for our purposes at a time where all accommodation was high it was fairly priced although I did mention it was not most ideal price but when you get there and see that your in their home and protecting their space it is clear why it’s priced as such. This is a stay that will feel like you’re in someone’s home, however, the communication and instructions allow you to feel at ease and welcome. Neighbours seemed lovely and friendly and the cat was a welcomed visitor. Cannot fault the property or its amenities at all would love to stay again

Beautiful rural cottage with a lovely interior finish. Peaceful surroundings ideal for local walks and adventures. Great host with clear instructions and matched description. Worth the visit!!!

An AMAZING host and just a stunning setting!

An absolutely outstanding location with the most engaging and caring hosts. Upon our arrival, we even found a loaf of bread and cookies in the kitchen as well as milk in the fridge, kindly left for us. The host was attentive to any of our needs, even allowing us to arrive early at the property. The whole property was spick & span. We will definitely return in the future! This property deserves 6 stars.

We really enjoyed staying at Sally's place. It was lovely and cosy and Sally had left out lots of little treats and thoughtful extras. The local pub is very close and was nice and welcoming. The location is nice and quiet, but close enough to places like Ely which was definitely worth a visit. Often Airbnb's only have 4 plates, 4 bowls etc, but the kitchen had lots of everything including a large dishwashwer. It was also great to have the small wood burning stove and it was nice and warm the entire time. We would definitely like to go back!

This was a lovely relaxing place to spend some time. We loved the pool area. The pool was warm and the floating beanbag was great! Daniel was very welcoming. Would recommend.

Lucky with the weather during our 3 night stay made it even better than expected. The balcony and the bi-fold doors were ideal for viewing the surrounding countryside and the sunsets. The area was really spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.
