Tiny house holiday rentals in River Great Ouse

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

I was arriving late and Chris met me at the main road so I could follow him to the place. He was great, he showed me the access and details of the place and left me to it. He brought logs over for the fireplace which was great as I hasd't bought any. The place is small but you have what you need. Room was warm and cosy and the setting is just amazing. if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of daily life...this is the place to come. There is another Lodge across the other side of the lake but not close enough to disturb your privacy or in view of each other. I went to Market Harborough which is the nearest town..they have some fantastic restaurants and cafes and bars...plus a waitrose,.aldi etc just 10 to 12 mins drive away. You are very secluded at the Lodge..you are immersed in the countryside so great walks and views plus you see lots of wildlife around you. I will definitely be visiting again

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Well what can we say It’s absolutely stunning and the grounds were beautiful. Peaceful location and so relaxing. We took full advantage of the hot tub and the barbecue. Well equipped kitchen and with a nice little touch of a bottle of bubbly in the fridge on our arrival. Dave is a great host and Sammy the dog kept us entertained. Visited the local farm with the Grandson who loved it and had a pub meal at the local pub which was stunning. All in all we’ve had a great stay and would recommend Dave’s place to everyone. We will definitely revisit we loved it that much. Thank You for having us See you soon 😊

Had a fantastic weekend here celebrating for a hen weekend! The place was perfect to accommodate a large group, big enough for communal socialising but also enough private spaces. Cathy was fantastic at communicating and was happy to provide extras where needed. Brilliant location, stunning views and easy to get to Cambridge centre! Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely getaway for the family and dog. Boys loved climbing in the tree house,space to run around,the canoes and the painting station. the dog had freedom to roam. the cabin is quirky and everything is well thought of and John had left marshmallows and choco digestives for s'mores. John is a fab host. really attentive and knowledgeable. relaxing stay, many thanks 👍 would definitely visit again.

What can I say. For me it’s exactly what air bnb is all about.. quirky extremely well put together accommodation in a beautiful location! Canoes.. bikes.. cooking facilities.. food storage.. shower. Toilets. Areas to play., the tiny house is just amazing. Beds are great and stove is perfect! Sitting out on the decking with the fire pit watching the river and inquisitive cows 😂 while roasting marshmallows! It’s just all perfect. John was the perfect host and extremely helpful and his doggy is so friendly, thank you for sharing what you have built. we will most definitely be back soon! Chris and Louise

We were visiting the area with our 3 dogs and Helen was very accommodating and it did not disappoint. The apartment was beautiful and lots of really thoughtful extras. We had a busy weekend dog training but I’m actually gutted we couldn’t have spent more time in the apartment because of how lovely and cozy it was. Thank you Helen! Highly recommend 😊

We were only staying at the hut for one night, but it was absolutely fantastic. It was immaculately cleaned, and had everything you needed. It is finished to such a high standard, and feels more like a hotel room than a shepherds hut! Gemma was very kind and flexible with check in times. We will definitely be returning again! The only possible downside, is that the second hut is little bit too close. Luckily it was empty for our night, but if someone else was there it wouldn’t have felt so exclusive. Thanks for having us :)

We had a relaxing stay at Otters holt . The pod was clean . We had a perfect view over looking the pond . Great walks and pubs. Would definitely go back. Thank you .

Briarwood Lodge was a stunning stay. From the moment of booking up to checking out, the Briarwood team have been amazing - super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I simply cannot fault the hosting and communication. The property itself is easy to find, secure and the scenery…WOW. Simply beautiful with lush views and so peaceful. The lodge itself has everything you need for a few nights away. The location is perfect if you want to get away from everything. You do have to drive to find a local shop or place to eat, but from my research prior this was already to be expected. Thank you so much Gary, Laura and Woody!! 🌳🏕️🐶

Natalia was an amazing host, always readily available for questions or advice. The hut was super clean, cosy and with the most amazing views. We made great use of the hot tub and it stayed warm until the morning after! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend. We ate at the Wheatsheaf pub - 10 minute drive away and Rutland nursery-10 minute walk away. Both amazing food and would recommend to anyone visiting. We also hired bikes from Rutland water and cycled round for 2 hours- took us 15 minutes to drive to the bike hire area in whitwell from the Hide. All in all, fab hosts and amazing accommodation with lots to do around the area. Will definitely be coming back!

The room was very cosy and Claudia very nice person . It was so quiet at night and amazing bird song in the mornings . Private space and table and chairs outside for guest use . Shops and good takeaways 5 -10 mins walk .

Lush little cabin, nice and secure if you have a dog. Very cosy and comfortable.

John’s place was perfect! It was just as described and very comfortable. The garden was beautiful and accommodations were great. John went above and beyond and was more than helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone considering! Lovely stay.

My friend and I had the most magical get-away at the shepherd hut of dreams last weekend! Not only is it surrounded by stunning natural beauty, the hosts were super attentive and the hut had all the home comforts we needed for the perfect escape from London! Hot tub is a must. We were lucky enough to visit during the Olney summer fete which was so sweet. 10/10 would come again!

This place that Katie has is truly beautiful, it was a perfect stay and to be honest didn’t want to leave and could have spent a lifetime there and wouldn’t have been a wasted time. It a lovely space and very cosy with the best view anyone could want just outside the doors.

What a lovely place. Debbie was extremely generous, fun to talk to and made us feel welcome and cared for. The cabin was hygge and we had plenty of fun lighting fires under the pergola outside. We made friends with the chickens, they were highly entertaining. Overall, we thoroughly recommend Debbie's cabin as a beautiful green getaway!

Perfect for a work night stopover. It is a beautifully designed cabin with great attention to detail. It was immaculately clean and had everything I needed. Communication was perfect and the cabin was easy to find. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

We had a lovely stay in Ann’s Shepherds Hut. Couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway! The place is well equipped and in a beautiful remote meadow.

My husband and I had the best stay. We found the cabin very comfortable. We also felt that where the cabin was located was beautiful. It’s in the middle of an orchard. We also thought the fresh eggs and the access to cider and apple juice was such a great touch. We felt so relaxed and will definitely come back or recommend this to people we know. Communication was great and their afternoon tea was beautifully organised. Thank you so much Eddie and team!

We had a lovely time at Amy’s Hobbit House. The weather was great so my friend and I could sit in the garden and catch up with all our news whilst my poodle was able to wander about safely. The inside was quirky and comfortable with all the facilities we could ask for. Cooking was a breeze with a microwave, two burner hob and a Ninja! We explored the lovely town of Stamford and walked in the water meadows and also loved Rutland Water.
