Such a lovely place. Sadly, I only had a couple of nights and one day to really enjoy it, but I immediately looked to re-book upon departing, and although the dates I looked at did not work, I will definitely return. Joe was really friendly and helpful. The house is lovely, well-designed and thought through with plenty of space. The weather was a bit damp, but otherwise we would have also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely garden with its seated areas and hot tub. Many thanks for a lovely break

Black Sheep Barn is an amazing place of relaxation. A cool-looking space with the most beautiful views. Tucked away in the Shropshire Hills, you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for rest, walks and stunning scenery straight from the door and the loveliest of hosts. We especially enjoyed playing some vinyl, exploring around Brown Clee Hill and just slowing down. Nature is on your doorstep; so worth making the most of the destination.

We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — Ellie was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, leaving us lovely cakes to enjoy on arrival. The cottage (and its surroundings) is full of charm and just as whimsical as the pictures suggest. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. We also enjoyed the easy drives into Ludlow, Leominster, Tenbury Wells and local walks. We can’t thank Ellie enough for creating such a beautiful, memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back one day!

A little piece of heaven. Just perfect for a few days of R&R. Although, the amount of walking we did there wasn’t much rest. The views from the balcony are something else, we somehow managed to lose 3 hrs sat there on our first afternoon. The location is perfect for getting on to the A40 and to further afield. We did not take advantage of the pool or saunas (which, now home feels like it was a wasted opportunity). The pool area is beautiful, and can see in the depths of summer being a real treat. From the booking Ruth was so helpful in giving us recommendations for where to visit and eat. Take the advice when it comes to The Angel Bakery in Abergavenny! It is out of this world. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the pavilion and hope to visit again.

what a wonderful week! very comfortable and relaxing either indoors or on the patio lovely garden and orchard. perfect for our large dog to run around. such friendly and helpful hosts lots of recommendations for exactly what we wanted! beautiful woodland walks in the midst of the forest of dean. thank you so much. highly recommended (check out Mallards pike :-) ) - we will book again!

Lovely place. Immaculate and beautifully decorated. Only comment - the accommodation is right next to the main house and so view through the windows is the house. There are privacy blinds and so not a problem for us

Decided to book a last minute couple of days in the Cotswolds as a bit of R&R having recently been in hospital. Heathers cottage did not disappoint. Great central location. Good to have a safe off road parking space next to the property! Would definitely recommend…

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

What an amazing little getaway! Had so much fun paddling and swimming in the lake, was amazing to have a full kitchen attached to the dome. The hottub was spotless and tucked away. Didn't find time to explore the farm but looked like lots of walking opportunities around. A good excuse to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Shippen. The property was perfectly located for a peaceful few days away from busy life but had amenities close by. We had access to the great pool and a private hot tub that the kids loved. I would definitely recommend The Shippen for families looking for a getaway that has lovely surroundings and accommodation that has everything you need, including games and activities for entertainment. Thank you Sara and Phil for having us, we loved our stay.

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

Very welcoming host, met us right on time and gave us a tour of the cottage! Also a lovely touch that Hillary left a few farm eggs for us so we had them for breakfast! Good location, all amenities were as described, a few shops near by (5-10 mins drive) so we had a good holiday just switching off for a few days! A few recommendations for pubs as well - we picked the Foxham which we really liked! The only improvement I’d say would be that it would be good to have an option of a blind/curtain for the front door/window.

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again. We had a lovely stay – the hosts were incredibly welcoming and the accommodation was amazing. Finley our pup especially loved spending time and running around with the owners’ three very friendly dogs! We couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We loved our 1,5 week stay at the hut! Nick was great host, who always responded quickly and kindly to our requests. The hut was a lovely place to stay, even all day when it rained a lot. Nick had so many great recommendations in the area that we scrapped all England plans and did almost everything on his list, all of which was amazing and felt well-tailored to our personal interests. We can only recommend staying here and hope to come back ourselves someday!

The best holiday we ever had in The UK in 10 years we've been here. We celebrated our 2 years relationship anniversary and we enjoyed every single second spent here! Alphie, our 7 years old Huksy also had a great time! We managed to do a lot of walking, hiking and even found lots of blueberries up the mountain. Stunning location, nice little stream, amazing hot tub, comfy bed, very clean kitchen with everything we needed & a hot shower. Couldn't be more perfect! Highly recommend all year round to everyone who loves nature & peace.

Tilly Lodge is a little piece of heaven. From the music upon your arrival, to the beautiful views and nature. It was better than expected and with so much to do in the vicinity, even my dog Peanut was entertained. This place exceeded my expectations and it is rare to find.

Amazing place! Beautiful views and great hosts, the outdoor bath is a brilliant edition. The whole place is spotless and smells really nice when you enter. It has everything you need, locations wise you feel like you’re in the countryside but it’s only a short drive to main areas and has 2 pubs just a short walk away. Dougie and Jodie are great hosts! Thank you for a wonderful stay. So calm and peaceful and just what we needed to relax! We bought our dog who loved roaming around the enclosed garden. Beautiful well equipped cabin and hot tub.

Ronnie’s place was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space was nice and cosy. The area is peaceful and had lots of opportunity to walk around and explore.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was so remote and peaceful, the views were stunning. You get to be at one with nature and really enjoy the countryside. Recommend for a romantic couples retreat.
