Private suite holiday rentals in River Severn

It was a little peace of heaven, the cottage (inside and outside) looks like it's out a story book. The cottage was spotless, enough space for a family, the kitchen was big enough and equipped to cook easy meals, we were served croissants for breakfast (lovely touch). There's a working fireplace and wood is provided. I would love to back there anytime.

Vert pleasant and peaceful stay at a very nice location with extremely friendly and helpful host who also kept themselves to themselves. Would definately recommend and hope to stay there again

Janet’s accommodation is lovely. I would have liked to stay longer. Really quiet. Janet supplies a help yourself breakfast with the accommodation which included homemade bread and lots more besides. I thought for one person this stay was excellent value although two people can stay. I would recommend 100%.

Beth was a great host!! We bought nice eggs from her. The location was very peaceful with birds singing and view towards the sheep and lambs. We would be glad to return to this lovely area. Thank you for everything Beth!!

We stayed at Lee’s place for 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay, the views looking out to the sea was amazing and location of the apartment was perfect for getting around. Lee was a brilliant host and gave lots of insight on places to go or visit, and was really helpful throughout the stay and very responsive. It’s the kind of place you will want to come back to again!

The Bothy, Bath, what an amazing airbnb. It was everything that was described and more. A pituresque, idilic place. Not a lot on the doorstep but lovely pubs within driving distance. A fantastic bus route on the doorstep at sensible prices, takes you straight into Bath, so no worry with parking. Richard and Lizzie are amazing hosts, very accomodating and approachable. The Bothy is just charming, it has everything you need and more, there are added extras of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, cooking oil, kitchen roll etc, the list goes on, Richard looks after the grounds( his garden) beautifully and its a relaxing area to sit out in. We cant recommend this airbnb highly enough and are hoping to go back at some time xx

The most perfect place to spend our mini moon. Location is perfect, so peaceful and private - views are incredible with a hot tub in the perfect place to admire them. The place itself is cosy and has everything you need - super comfy bed! Whilst we stayed, we climbed up Pen y Fan, did the four falls walk and visited the national cave centre. Would 100% recommend Ceri’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

This was our first voyage into the Air BnB world and what a gem! What have we been missing. Kottie was an exceptional host, from our first contact she was helpful and very friendly. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable and well appointed, with beautiful gardens that I wish we'd have had more time to fully enjoy. The homemade blueberry scones waiting for us on arrival were delicious, blueberry scones will never taste the same again. The recommendation to the Pendrell Arms (a 2 minute walk away) was ideal, a lovely local village pub, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff with great food and service. We were attending a family wedding and wanted somewhere to stay close by. Holly Croft was perfect, just 5 minutes away. Despite being a Saturday, Kottie kindly offered to drive us to the venue. All we have to do now is find a reason/excuse to make a return visit. Cheryl and Jeff Edwards

Had a great stay at Tori’s place! The space was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing break. The host was really friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely come back!

Outstanding in every department. The annexe itself is a renovated outhouse, renovated to the highest standard. The location is superb to go to whatever you want to go in the region. We climbed Pen y Fan and it was worth every sweat and tear to get to the top. Brecon Town Centre has lovely Welsh craft shops, pubs and plenty of places to eat although we eat both nights in The Clarence Inn, food was exceptional. Liz and Ian are fantastic hosts and cannot be more accommodating. The accommodation had everything my wife and I and our little Spaniel needed. A very relaxing and exhausting two night stay. A fantastic stay, we had a couple of nights here, central location to visit the surrounding villages, diddly squat and farmers dog pub. The place was immaculate and Lucy was very helpful with restaurants nearby etc Even sorted us out a cot, toys and high chair which meant we could travel lightly and not stress about forgetting anything Recommended it straight away to friends and when we return to the Cotswolds we will definitely be booking here again! Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay in Lynne’s for a holiday. We used it as a great base for day trips to Shrewsbury, Alton Towers, and other nearby heritage sites. Beautiful setting inside and out, and had everything we needed. The place was spotless and so comfortable, we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Amazing air BnB and host. We could not recommend this place enough. Taz was always on hand if we needed anything and she truly has thought of everything you may need during your stay. This includes slippers, toothbrushes, face masks and much more! The garden is incredible and we paid extra for the sauna which was set up for us during our stay. The booklet has step by step instructions for everything and even though we had issues with the pizza oven (our own doing) taz came out straight away to help. We will most definitely be booking again.

The place was beautiful very relaxing with the hot tub and surroundings were very elegant and tranquil. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The fish pond is an added extra. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful escape. Highly recommended.

I spent a lovely few days in Bewdley on an art course and The Retreat was just perfect for me. Quiet, clean, neat and within walking distance of the town centre. Jill and her husband were perfect hosts, helpful but not intrusive. I would be more than happy to stay at The Retreat again.

Julie’s annex was really lovely. We stayed for one night as a quiet getaway. The instructions left made it very easy to find and get into the annex. Within 5 mins drive of Chipping Sodbury and walking distance of The Bell Pub. Would definitely stay again!

Ideally located close to the centre of Painswick, with pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. Great value comfortable accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay! It was so beautiful and recharging! Caroline and Simon were welcome and helped us navigate our visit. Would love to stay here again!
