The Teasel Yurt

You will find The Teasel Yurt tucked into the side of Selsley Common. The large deck looks out over the Severn Vale and Stroud hills - spectacular in all weather and a great spot for sunset. The yurt itself can accommodate a maximum of 5 people with your bedding and towels provided. There is a wood burner to keep the yurt cosy when it is chilly out and the open air kitchen has a canvas roof, a gas burner, firepit/BBQ, sink and cool box. Your bathroom has a hot shower and compost loo.

Come and stay in one of our 2 lovely yurts or bring your friends and hire them both! in a secluded location surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. This absolutely gorgeous Yurt and Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful secret valley within Brecon Beacons National Park, between the Blorenge and Gilwern Hills, only 3.5 miles away from Abergavenny. The area is known as "Cordell Country" after the author Alexander Cordell, who has written best selling historical novels about the surrounding area and it's natural beauty combined with its former industrial heritage. Our Yurt is situated on the edge of the picturesque Cotswold village of Shilton. The cosy and romantic Yurt stands in a private enclosed garden with its own hot tub, kitchen and bathroom. In the summer months guests can pick fresh lettuce, herbs and vegetables from the raised beds and relax in hammocks. It is a five minute walk away from the village pub and close to the Cotswold Wildlife Park and the picturesque medieval town of Burford.
