Monthly Rentals in Rivière-Rouge

We had a great 6 week stay at this chalet in late Fall / early Winter. The house was clean and everything worked well. Cindy was very communicative and helpful.

We had a wonderful 3-month winter stay at Annie and Rene's comfortable and cozy lakeside chalet which exceeded our expectations. These hosts have gone above and beyond to ensure their guests' comfort and were always available to answer our questions. Their well-equipped kitchen is a treat that would impress all budding entertainers and foodies! Upon our arrival, the chalet's cozy decor and stacked freplace wood made us feel immediately welcome as we settled into our home away from home. We felt like we were in a winter wonderland and enjoyed exploring snowshoeing and ski trails in the area as well as frequent jaunts to picture-perfect Mont Tremblant. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning some day!

Beautiful peaceful place on the lake. Close to the little town of Riviere Rouge where you can find shops and services. The cabin is very cosy. I stayed a month over Christmas. On cold days I would lite the Jøtul fireplace, there was ample of firewood provided. The fire was relaxing and the warmth after a cold day outside very welcome. In the kitchen I found everything I needed to cook, the stove is older and i needed to watch the cooking not to burn it. Tap water comes from the lake but the cabin has a water tower which takes 25 L bottles so I never ran out of drinking water. the shower is great, and the lake water very soft. Bedroom is in the basement which I think is great in the summer for being cool and dark. In the winter the nice floor heat keeps the basement warm and comfortable. The bed is small for a taller couple but for a single person comfortable and roomy. Celine and Guy are excellent hosts. They kept in contact and were always available if I had any questions.

Loubna has a beautiful place and she communicates really well. It is a very clean space and we had everything we needed. The lake is amazing but full of bugs and mosquitos !! Plan some repellent or you wont be able to enjoy properly. It was a great bubble of peace
